He was my second opinion of a molar that I was told that I had to do a "root canal" because my filling was too big to replace. I was also told I had a few little cavities that need to be removed/filled. So when he saw me, he told me that he can save my tooth and he did. He ended up capping it:) Better than a root canal. He also told me that he didn't see any cavities which was nice to hear, since I make sure I visit my dentist 2x a year and brush n floss daily as well. His staff is also very friendly and makes you feel important, like you're the only patient in the office:) The only reason why I didn't give him 5 stars, is that his office is not open on Saturdays. But overall, I would recommend him for your yearly check ups and dental fillings. There's plenty of parking since his office is in a strip mall with it's own parking lot in a corner of a stop light. It's nice that you're also able to get in and get out.

I saw a large office to the left of the front desk which I assumed was the doctor's office and found out it was the office manager's desk, although the lights were always off and she was never there (I have gone to the office 3x in 6 days), despite the other very hardworking women at the front desk crammed in a tight space working their butts you off all with a smile on their faces! Dr. Hilton, was kind, courteous and compassionate, all the things you look for in a dentist but also in a decent human being. He was very transparent with what he was going to do, checked in with me and and answered all my questions. I have worked in healthcare for 15 years and he was one of the most poised and gentle providers I had the pleasure of calling my dentist. It's sad to see such a wonderful office that takes Medicaid!! I am in need of a new dentist now because our old dentist in Bensenville sadly passed away. Maryann Michael is probably the worst dentist I have ever gone to in my life. I went to her several years ago when I had severe pain from a tooth that went bad, It had to be removed. She removed it, but I noticed even at this first visit ever with her, she was impatient about how long it took for the anesthetic to start working. But a short while after the tooth was removed my pain was gone, even later that evening. So a few months later I had a different problem with a tooth, so I went to her again. Big mistake on my part! She had to pull another tooth, and she was having extreme difficulty pulling. When she finally removed the tooth, and the anesthesia hadn't worn off yet, I was still bleeding a lot. When I went to check out and I told her I was still bleeding and in pain. She said (very snarky) "Oh you'll be alright". That was my last visit to her office.

I have not slept ever since I was seen by her! I am leaving her and will never comeback! I had the worst experience in my life.. I feel like I'm going to have PTSD over this! I came to her as a second chance because of her good reviews online. I showed up for an appointment yesterday not knowing what she is going to do with me. I arrived and the staff told me we are only doing the fillings- so okay..nervous because the last time she cleaned my teeth she hurt me. As we were talking about the fillings she asked how my bad root canal tooth was doing. I said that it did still bother me. Then she insisted we are pulling it out today instead! I was so shocked, i said NO! i wasnt ready for that. But she kept manipulating me, I feel harassed and cornered. Soon as the anesthesia was done she was going to pull it right away. I was shocked again because normally anesthesia takes 10 minutes or so to get working. And when she started, I felt pain! i told her and she kept telling me "it was just pressure". But in reality, it hurt like the bothering pain i would feel. After she was "done" she left a little sharp tooth hanging in my mouth!!! I noticed afterwards with all the gauze in my mouth! I cried!!!!! I dont ever want to go back to her, even if she fixes this for free! Now I can't sleep because i think about my experience!!!! My cheek felt the sharp little tooth hanging! I hate myself for coming to her. I cannot believe this is happening to me. My previous dentists never forced me to do anything that made me uncomfortable. I had to raise my hand multiple times to Maryan Michael because of how uncomfortable it was.. I've never closed my eyes and squeezed so hard during a dental visit. This office is in a hospital and only ONE staff member looked put together. Maryan Michael's assistant was dressed unprofessional (wore a hoodie). Also, Maryan Michael's uniform was a mess. It had a rip on the side, as if it got snagged or someone grabbed onto it & it ripped. The light that is above you during procedure was taped up. This place is horrible now! They are careless! I have been here about a year ago where they treated my daughter and used Nitrous oxide because my daughter had so much fear. It was great back then the dentist that was there and assistants were very great with her she had no pain during the whole procedure felt nothing not even the local injection! Which is why I chose to keep coming. Keep in my mind I drove almost an hour to come here for that reason because of how great the experience was. Fast forward now I had to bring my daughter back this week and this time the experience was horrible! The dentist that my daughter had apparently was new which at first my thought was fine I will just explain to her about my daughter's fear. When it came time for the procedure and the local injection was given my daughter screamed at the top of her lungs she felt the injection the Dentist instead of comforting my daughter she shushed her and told her she needed to stop and open her mouth! Completely uncompassionate of course my daughter was going to keep crying. They explained she needed a tooth extraction and the dentist while having my daughter screaming at the top of her lungs forced her instrument in her mouth and pulled her tooth and as soon as she pulled it my daughter started screaming and crying again told her to shush as she had her instrument in her mouth I repeatedly asked what was going on if she can feel it and my concerns were ignored she just went ahead and pulled it off. At the end I expressed how bad the experience was because my daughter had never screamed the way she did that day and they tried lying to me saying my daughter cried every time she was there and it was in their notes which was not true because the times I had brought her in she was very calm throughout the whole thing. So when I asked to see those notes and get a copy of them they kept saying they would provide me with them but never did I also asked who I can complain to and again it was brushed off. They refused to provide me with my child's dental treatment and records plus refused to provide me with information on where I can complain which as a patients parent I have a right to. They kept saying if I submit a complaint it would affect the owner of the place!
