He explained everything, answered all my questions. Made me laugh. There was a chance of sinus cavity ruptured, but he assured me, he would do his best to not have that happen- it didn't. The procedure was quick (although I was put under). I followed instructions and had zero swelling, and minimal pain. I was healed for the most part in a week. Highly recommend.

But Dr. Lehman answered all his questions patiently, made him laugh, and made him feel comfortable about getting his teeth removed. On the day of the surgery, the nurses and anesthesiologist were all very warm and kind, which really helped my son feel relaxed and at home. He had his teeth removed with no problems. I remember when I got my teeth removed (granted - a long time ago) I swelled up like a balloon, but my son didn't have a single bruise and barely any swelling so it was obviously very skillfully done. DR. NICKEL LITERALLY SAVED MY LIFE! Prior to him, my health had declined for 25 yrs, not knowing…read morethe cause. Several auto immune diseases developed, to where many days I couldn't function. I found out through Dr. Nickel, I had blood infection and bone infection/dead bone in my jaw (due to a failed procedure when I was 15 yrs old to remove a wisdom tooth). That oral surgeon (don't remember his name) neglected to inform my family he left a portion of my tooth in me which became very neurotoxic. Prior to Dr. Nickel, I found out from a dentist, 30 yrs after the failed procedure, the wisdom tooth chip was still in me. So, a 2nd surgery attempt was made to remove the chip, but the tooth wouldn't budge and was on a nerve. The nerves were wrapped around the tooth. Another failed attempt! I actually almost died the next day from the infection being stirred and pushed further in me. I then met Dr. Nickel, who took an x-ray and showed me I had dead bone in my jaw. No dentist ever told me / showed me this on the x-ray. I was nervous for him to perform the surgery, after two failed attempts from past surgeons and almost dying the second time, but he was confident and put me at complete ease. I was also taken aback by his genuine, humble demeanor. He is a very kind-hearted, patient man and is the "go-to oral surgeon" in the area for complex patients. The procedure was a complete success! I had a 3-month, 6-month, and 18-month follow up and everything healed beautifully. There was no nerve damage, and my energy came back, among other things. I put off getting my wisdom teeth extracted until my 30's.. given that I believe most get theirs…read moreextracted in their late teens or 20's, I was a bit apprehensive to say the least. I was actually referred to Dr. Ads and his team by my dentist, Dr. Waheed. I cannot thank the both of them for this 'opportunity'. No one looks forward to going to the dentist or even an oral surgeon to say the least, but let me remind you that perception is key. Starting from the initial consultation all the way until after the procedure, Dr. Ads and his staff surpassed even my expectations which is saying quite a whole lot. I have had a nervous tick about surgery since I was little and while Dr. Ads reassured me all would be fine, I was still hard to convince, but when the big day came, I felt zero pain from the surgery itself. I am still in recovery as this occurred a little over 2.5 weeks ago. I will like to note that Dr. Ads does indeed provide his contact information to reach him directly even after-hours should anything arise, which is exactly what did happen - I developed the dreaded dry socket, not by any of my doing, but the clot just never formed unfortunately in one of my four extraction sites. The pain was beyond excruciating, Dr. Ads offered to take me in immediately the following day and gave me the special packing that alleviated the pain within 10-15 minutes and had me come back a few days later to remove it; this was a week ago. Since then, recovery has been fine, just maintaining oral irrigation on the sites to make sure no food/debris get lodged. Each time when I did go in to Dr. Ads at OralMax (I went 5 times; first was for the initial consultation, second was the surgery, third was a drop-in due to some pain, fourth time was coming in due to discovering dry socket and application of oral-pack to alleviate pain, fifth time was removal of the oral-pack and post-op followup and release) he and his staff are the absolute benchmark of patient care. I cannot say I ever look forward to having any more oral surgery, however if I ever needed it, I would come back here again without hesitation or worry. When I was told I had to go to an oral surgeon for issues with my 19 year old implant, I figured I'd go to Oramax being that my past experience was good. My appointment was 10/2/25 with Dr. Ads. I had an xray done and the Dr said I needed to have the implant replaced but being that he could tell how shocked and stressed I was about the situation, he recommended meeting with another Dr about possible laser treatment for the issue first. As I was leaving, I asked him if I could still get a quote/estimate for replacing the implant. On Monday 10/6, I called the office to ask if I could have the panoramic x-ray sent to me. Being that this is a big procedure, I just wanted to get a second opinion. I was told that I didn't have a panoramic x-ray, that it was a CT scan. I told her whatever it was that I had last Friday, can I get a copy of that. She said it would have to be put on a disc and picked up after 24 hours. I also told her I was waiting for an estimate and she said I should have that within a few days. On Thursday 10/9 I called to see if the disc was ready for pick up. The women didn't know what I was talking about. She looked at my file and said I had a panoramic x-ray and said it could just be emailed over (OMG, that's what I said the first time and I was told I was wrong). She did email that over. I then told her I was still waiting for an estimate since last week. She connected me to someone in the billing department. The women told me I would need an implant removal, bone graphing and implant replacement. She assured me that she would get me an estimate Friday (the following day, 10/10) morning. On Wednesday 10/15, being that I still had not heard from anyone, I called to leave a message for the dr. The receptionist asked what I was leaving a message regarding and I said I had questions about the implant. She wanted to know what the exact questions were. I told her I wanted to know the urgency to do the procedure and listed off a few more questions. She said fine and that she'd have the Dr call me. It is now Monday 10/20/25 and I have no received a quote OR a call from the Dr!! Very disappointing!!!!! I have read negative comments about the office staff many times but figured since the Dr is the one that does the work and he's always highly recommended, I'd continue to struggle through the difficulty with the staff. There's always a chance they didn't relay the message to him but at this point I'm pretty much done. I'd rather not spend thousands of dollars at a place where I feel disrespected.

There was one major difference this time, I was referred to THIS amazing surgeon! The staff, from start to finish and front to back, are perfect. I was so nervous and miserable but after my consultation I felt much more confident. They got my prescriptions sorted out and prepped me for what to expect on the day of my surgery (1 week, a very quick turnaround). The actual surgeon is the BEST medical professional I've ever interacted with. No exaggeration. On the day of my extractions he explained everything that was going to happen and really put my mind at ease. They knocked me out so efficiently I don't remember even feeling funny, I simply woke up with everything done! Leaving, I received a take home kit with all the info I needed, an adorable penguin ice pack to use on my jaw, lip balm to help with dry lips, and a device to spray medicine or saltwater on the extraction sites. They also called the next day to check on my progress. With the promise that I could always call with questions or concerns, our business was concluded. I have avoided dentists for a long time, going once every two years for a cleaning. I went nearly 4 years before going to see the Dr's as Zorillas office. They did not shame me, they reassured me this was a wonderful step to taking care of myself. That I deserved to take care of myself. For the office being labeled as cosmetic, they do not push at all for whitening or straightening, or anything you didn't book for. They did my cleaning and asked if I had questions about additional services, gave me a goodie bag and booked me for a cavity fill that I paid my copay for, and after that appt they booked me 6 months out. Truly wonderful, kind, compassionate, understanding and reassuring people work here and I am actually excited for my upcoming appointments
