After reading multiple negative reviews, I was nervous about having my first dental checkup here. But overall it was positive! While the person who did my X-rays spoke in broken English, my dental hygienist was Elyse and she was super personable! Perhaps if you're high maintenance about your dentists or need a more charismatic environment, or you need to get more specialized services done, don't visit here. I do not recommend this office. The front desk staff are terrible and irresponsible. I had an appointment scheduled for October 17 at 11:40 a.m., and no one informed me that the doctor would not be available that day. The staff claimed they had called to let me know, but I never received a missed call or voicemail. The only message I got was a text in the morning asking to confirm the appointment, to which I replied "yes." I received no apology from them -- instead, the front desk staff rolled their eyes and looked at me with judgment. Absolutely disgraceful and unprofessional service! They don't even deserve a single star. After I said I would leave negative reviews everywhere, the staff made it very clear through their attitude that they didn't care at all. read more

Hello. I want to share our sad experience at the galaxy dental clinic, namely about Zhana Krasyuk. We took our daughter to this clinic for treatment for six months. Her treatment and negligent attitude towards work led to the fact that the teeth that were treated had an infection, which can only be removed by removing all 4 teeth! I know now many visitors turn to this clinic, I highly do not recommend this doctor and this clinic! Avoid them and save your health and nerves!!! read more

Zhana Krasyuk, DDS is the best dentist in the Wheeling and Buffalo Grove area. I initially met her through a mutual friend and decided to drive from the city of Chicago to see her for my dental care needs. The office is extremely beautiful and her staff is superb and professional. As a physician I can personally attest that her bedside manner is conscientious, personable, comprehensive, and extremely pleasant. I came in wanting to get a routine cleaning and wanted to learn more about restorative treatments- such as whitening and invisalign. She educated me about the options in a very transparent way, and enabled me to make a decision without any pressure. I really valued that since I had braces when I was a kid as as my professional life has taken a change on me, I am more self conscious about my physical appearance. We mutually decided that I would be a an excellent candidate for invisalign, and will return in a week to get fitted for my invisalign treatment. I found this place close to my house. For 33 years I never had a filling or cavity. I went to galaxy dental and they took X-rays and told me that I had multiple cavities and needed a root canal. I let them do the root canal. After that I stopped going to then after I had suspicions. I Found a reputable dentist in highland park and after X-rays and multiple check ups, they told me I have beautiful teeth and have no issues. Would not recommend galaxy dental to anyone!!!! My experience with Galaxy Dental comes into two parts: dental work and business part. I have nothing but deep gratitude for the professionalism and care provided. This impression, however, is marred by the sloppy business part, so here it goes: I selected the office in part because it is "in-network" for my Advantage MC administered by Devoted Health Plan (PPO). I called the office to confirm, then my card was copied for the first appointment in Feb 2023. Once the crown work was in progress, I was told that the office "may not be in the Devoted network anymore". and was charged for the crown. The charge was partially covered by my other insurance, BUT within Devoted network the crown is covered 100%. Since then, at least twice I was told by the business manager that "We are investigating, and I will call you tomorrow". Needless to say, I have not heard from the office. I am afraid that I will not go to Galaxy anymore and will post this account on different sites to warn potential customers of the shoddy business practices of the office. read more

I liked how convenient it was for me to book something almost last minute for a cleaning. I was not a big fan of the cleaning because the hygentist seemed very inconsiderate and also seemed like she was in a rush to get it over with. Many other hygentists and dentists I have worked with in the past were more patient and more calming. I appreciated the dentist/doctor's feedback as she indicated to me that I had cavities and future things to look out for. It is good place to get a cleaning last second and the doctor is reliable but I do wish they were more patient and considerate. The receptionist and staff are nice. Overall this place is OK but it can be improved. read more

If i had to use one word to describe dr.K it would be "impressive". she does it all including root canals unlike my previous dentists, which is why i came to galaxy. she is a very good doctor and i should know. iv been to many, some decent some horrible. like pulling one tooth and braking two others, yes i'v been there. plus her prices are very reasonable. she could easily charge 2 or 3 times like others. I was very nervous for my root canal, but my visit was 100% pain free. I finally found my dentist. ok. ill stop gushing, make an appointment and experience it for yourself. Thank you Dr.K! read more

For starters, Dr. Zhana is super hot. That being said... I went in for an implant. Had not seen a Dentist in 15 years. Was a 'cold call' and she took me right away. She has a beautiful facility. Very modern contemporary and welcoming. Dentists normally make me very nervous. However, I felt a calmness there with her and her assistant. I would highly recommend for her professionalism, ability to make a person feel at ease and a real genuine care for her patients. 5++ stars. read more

Terrible care here. This dentist doesn't take informed concent prior a treatment. She placed two sealants and fluoride on my child's teeth without my permission. One sealant fell out in a months. Next-space maintainer for my child fell out twice! The other dentist said us the space maintainer hadn't been fabricated properly and interfered with my child's bite. Beware!
