Dr.Nanavati is truly amazing! I highly recommend for a root canal! He was gentle, walked me through each step and was constantly checking on me. I was extremely nervous and was not looking forward to this. This honestly was not Bad at all. Staff was great and I wish I would have remembered his assistant ( getting married soon) she truly was great! Front desk was also professional and got me an outline of everything needed. I am so Disappointed with this dentist office. I had a such bad experience with an implant, before this everything it was nice, I been this office for almost 6 years !! They give a quote for my implant around September 2024, and I agree my insurance pay a part for my treatment, they remove my tooth and I have to wait a couple or months for put my implant ! I am back to the office in March for xray and they make an appointment for my Implant in May, but 3 days before the surgery for an implant t they call me and said I need another procedure called sunís lift, cost $ 3,000 more plus the quote, but another thing they not sure if I needed or not and I am so surprise, They push me to pay in advanced if not pay , I can't come to my appointment! ! I decided to show up that day and they are so rude with me they said if you don't pay the money you can't see the doctor !! I don't trust in this office anymore, they was our family dentist for long time ! We cancel everything! So unprofessional !! read more

I've been waiting for a couple of years before writing this review. I meant to wait a year, but you know, things happened #covid2020. I wanted to wait and see the full picture of the dentist and their office. Me and the kids have been going here now for more than 2 years. Amazing, amazing, and amazing. Great staff, great dentist. The dentist may scare you a little, but he only cares for the health of your mouth. He says it like it is. The office is nice and before Covid, they had coffee and water in the waiting room. I went to Elit Dentistry my 1st appointment was with Dr Mohammed Waheed, He pulled 4 teeth that 1st appointment. Scheduled 2 appointment with Dr Waleed the day of the appointment I got a call that Dr Waheed had emergency and his sister-in-law would see me , I scheduled the 3rd appointment with Dr Waheed on my way to the appointment I got a call again from the office Dr Waheed had an accident he is in the office but not seeing any patients, you that was the end of that . What a refreshing change! I found Elite Dentistry using Yelp, based on the reviews I read my expectations were high. Elite did not disappoint. I've been to the office twice now and have nothing been great things to say about it. From the moment I walked in I was warmly greeted by Fatima, I took a seat and was then offered a drink. I sat in the waiting area, it was modern, clean and comfortable. I noticed a play area for kids next to the waiting room. I was then asked to take a seat in an open room and wait for Dr. Waheed. While I waited in the dental chair I watched Netflix and hit a button for the dental chair to massage me. Dr. Waheed then arrived and throughly explained what we are doing, answered all of my questions and made sure I was comfortable. He worked gently and before I knew it he was done. My mom recently went to see Dr. Waheed for a consultation due to pain in one of her wisdom teeth. She was immediately scheduled for a tooth extraction and, although a bit nervous, said she felt safe going to Dr. Waheed and his staff due to how professional, kind and attentive they were with her during her consultation. Extraction day comes, and my mom was in and out within an hour. She said the whole procedure was effortless and painless. She was left amazed and now wants to let everyone know about her wonderful experience. Thanks again to Dr. Waheed and his staff for being gentle, thorough and attentive with my mom. This dentist is not good when you have no dental insurance; older/retired patients beware. He has a supposedly discount plan for those uninsured, again beware. Prices are outrageous and treatment plans he recommends should be questioned. Get a second opinion do not trust this dentist. read more

The customer service from the front desk, dental assistants, and to the dentist has been amazing! They constantly send reminders to follow up on appointments and let you know about insurance coverage. April 2019 I did a yelp search for "5 star dentists" in my area, and Elite Dentistry came up, yelp reviews are very important to me in determining where I go, whether it's restaurants, doctors, or salon/spa. So after verifying with my insurance that Dr. Waheed was a provider on my plan, I made my appointment conveniently by starting out with a text to them. Dr. Waheed and his insurance coordinator, Fatima (I'm sorry if I spelled that wrong), along with the rest of the staff, were all so wonderful to work with. The receptionist was very nice and professional when taking my info, and also told me I can help myself to some drinks at the beverage counter. The dental technician was very nice and asked what I wanted to watch on Netflix, so I said something about the ocean, and she brought up a list of things for me to watch about the ocean! And the dental chair massages, how nice! Dr. Waheed was very personable, honest, and gave me different options for my dental problems if I wanted to save more money. He also gave me some advice about acids regarding my specific tooth problems that no other dentist has ever given me, so he is extremely knowledgable. Fatima was such a sweet woman, she is the one who deals with insurances and makes all the phone calls, as well as going over treatment plans. Her glowing personality left me smiling. It had been several years since I have been to the dentist and decided I needed to find a dentist in the area. I was fortunate to find Dr. Waheed and his excellent staff. I have had three visits and Dr. Waheed is top notch. I was so impressed I suggested that my wife see him as well. I had an awesome first visit at Elite Dentistry today. I did not have a referral or anything, just selected it from my network provider list .... Jackpot!! Very nice and modern office, the staff was friendly and there was no wait. I was on time and so were they. Dr. Waheed was very warm and friendly and informative doing the X-rays and gum depth check up, and OMG, the most gentle and thorough cleaning I have ever experienced. Let me tell you about my dentist appointment right now : So I had to change dentist because the one I had since I was 6 retired recently. So I go on Yelp and find Elite Dentistry in Addison. I get there and they offer me water from this boojie mini-fridge (which was super organized and spaced out - a perfectionists dream). So I get called in and they sit me in a massage chair and then ask me what I wanna watch on Netflix. OF COURSE I ask for the Minions movie. They take like 22 pictures of my teeth, give me a good ol' cleaning, and dude! The dentist seriously had the best personality. We talk about insurance and how this is their busy season and I of course put my two-cents in cause I'm in HR and all. THEN! I go to schedule my next appointment and they give me the typical goodie bag AND because they made me wait a while once I came in, gave me a $5 gift card to Dunkin Donuts. By far the best "dental" experience I've ever had. I broke a tooth and had my mother call around and find somewhere near my work since I started a new job. They were super friendly on the phone and to me when I got there. The doctor was HONEST and FAIR. They made sure you are absolutely comfortable by providing Netflix and a relaxing massage chair if desired... I will drive an hour to see him for any of my needs in the future. Dr. Waheed and his staff have an amazing personality! My daughter is 2 1/2 years old and we started going there for about a year. My daughter's first experience at the Dentist was exactly how I thought it would be: her crying, staff not being able to do a cleaning, etc... BUT they had the most patience I have ever seen anywhere. They kept trying to get her to smile and talk to them. They never once pressured her into opening her mouth for a cleaning because they knew how scared she was. They never rushed us out of there either, knowing how many other patients the Dr probably had after us. That is what every parent wants for their child. A great Dr and staff. We just went to see him for her follow up a couple of days ago and my daughter totally changed her view on this practice . She was cooperative and let the staff do what they had to do.
