Written on my husband's behalf…read more If I could leave a zero I absolutely would. I traded in my car for a truck at the end of August 2024 and it is now the end of October and they still have yet to get my truck registered. And get this, they've already sold the vehicle I traded in! They kept my license plate upon trade and after me calling over a month later asking about it they told me it was all taken care of and to come get my plate (mind you I live an hour from the dealership). A month later I get a collections notice on the car I traded in saying I was late on my payment. WHAT?! Tim Short was supposed to send in the payoff and didn't! I called and told them and they said they'd take care of it. I waited a week and called my bank and nothing had been sent. I called the dealership and threatened legal action and lo and behold it somehow got paid that day! Since I picked up my plate I thought everything was fine until last week. I work 9 hours from home and I was surprised when I walked out to my truck one day last week to find a TOW NOTICE on my window for an UNREGISTERED VEHICLE! My truck is STILL not registered in my name! My plate is still registered to my original vehicle I traded in which is now owned by someone else. The lady I spoke with at the dealership said that they don't keep tags? Then why did our sales rep keep it? We were also told (when we called after the first month) that whoever was in charge of handling registration left my paperwork on her desk and went on vacation. Then I'm told that my Certificate of Origin they had requested from wherever was destroyed when they received it and they don't know how or why. They also couldn't tell me why they don't have a new one. I nearly got a ticket and my brand new truck towed because they've had 2 months to do their jobs and haven't done it. I'm almost 40 and never had a ticket! The lady I spoke with said there are only two of them in the office doing all that paperwork. All I know to tell Tim Short is that they'd better hire a few more people to help in that department because I've been told I'm not the only one that's had this problem. It's all so very unprofessional. I will never do business with Tim Short again and will discourage others as well.

We live 420 miles away from Glockner HTCDGJR of Portsmouth (4-hour one way drive). We pursued a…read moreGlockner Certified Used vehicle purchase based upon online ads at Autotrader and Glockner websites with an advertised list price of $28,989. The price was the same on both websites. Both ads included a $699 Glockner Guarantee Certificate (attached) which indicates in all capital letters that it is INCLUDED with qualifying vehicles: which this vehicle was. Per Ohio law, any advertised price for a motor vehicle represents the full price including all costs to the consumer except tax, title, registration fees and documentary charge. So, by law the Guarantee had to be included. We had asked our salesperson (Dave Peck) to remove the $699 Guarantee and provide a credit o the list price of the vehicle. He indicated that the cost was not optional and could not be removed and was already included in the price of the vehicle. This information conforms to Ohio law. We then moved on to the financing office (Stephen Russell) the vehicle cost was listed as $1,000 more than the list price. It also included an added line item cost of $699 Guarantee. He admitted there was a $1,000 "mistake" and corrected the mistake however he refused to remove the added $699. He stated it was not included the List Cost; it was an added cost. He advised us to walk away from the deal if we did not want to pay the additional $699. I told him that I couldn't believe that we were the only customers to have ever complained about their false advertising - he shrugged his shoulders and indicated that we were not the first customers to have complained and added that "everyone has the opportunity to walk away from a deal." As we had already invested 6 hours of our day with the trip out to the dealership (and still had another 4-hour drive to get back home), test drive and waiting for paperwork to be reprocessed, we reluctantly moved forward with the purchase. The next day, we reviewed the paperwork again and discovered an undisclosed added cost of $70. When we called Steve, he indicated that he was unable to determine what the cost was. He became very defensive saying that it had nothing to do with any Glockner process. He blamed it on the bank "likely mis-allocating a loan origination fee." He said that he would contact the bank and try to figure out what it was and would call me back. In the meantime, I checked with the bank and confirmed that they did not have a loan origination fee. Upon his return call, he indicated that it was another Glockner error related to non-reimbursed tax based on the $1,000 error noted above. He advised that we would be reimbursed via a check they would put in the mail within the next couple of days. Later that day, I called the Used car Sales Manager (Jeff Doak) to discuss how we were misled by Glockner's false advertising of the vehicle list price and frustrated that we experienced multiple financial "mistakes". We felt that it was an entirely unprofessional transaction and they seemed to operate very unethically. And, just like the finance person, he simply said that we should have walked away from the deal. I told the Manager that we believed that the Glockner team's actions were not only unethical but also illegal - and that there are Federal and State laws to protect consumers from exactly what Glockner did to us. I told him that I would endeavor to write as many candid reviews online so that I could warn others what to expect/look out for if they deal with Glockner. I advised that I would also be contacting several agencies to look into their business practices. He replied that I could go ahead and do that and that Glockner has been around for 100+ years; and indicated that they don't break any laws. I replied that I understood his position, but did not agree. False advertising is a violation of consumer protection laws. The car-buying experience that we encountered is the epitome of why there are these types of consumer protection laws. Glockner did not honor their advertised list price. Buyer Beware!

She said she had it noted and they'd call if they gotten any in. Less then a week latter I got a call back from a gentleman. He Said they had gotten a car in that seams to be exactly what I was looking for. We went to Huntington. One look is all I needed and I knew it's exactly what I wanted. Ya see, my husband and I had gotten our first new'ish car in February of 2019. It was a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder. O it was the perfect car, it was perfect size. I wanted a 3 row seater because I have 3 kids, sense I live in McDowell Co. West Virginia I wanted something I could lock into 4 wheel drive; We have some rough winters and rougher roads. But I didn't want anything big like a van or a traverse. When I seen The 2016 Nissan Pathfinder, I fell in love, it matched my demands perfect, but there was 1 problem. The 2013-2018 Nissan pathfinders didn't have Bluetooth music streaming. Your iPhone had to be plugged into usb for music. that was just something we'd have to live with. So we got the 2016. Not from this car lot. It was a different company for that car. Unfortunately 6 weeks after we got the 2016 someone ran me off the road into a deep ditch. The passenger side undercarriage almost directly between the front and back doors hit the ground hard when my wheel went into the hole on the side of the road. The curtain air bag deployed and the passenger side seat air bag deployed. The insurance declared it a total loss. I cut the air bags out and drove it as is for right at a year before deciding to turn it in. The insurance company set us up with a rental through enterprise rental. That's where enterprise sales come in. As I'm trying to find the renal site to schedule my rental pickup I came across enterprise car sales. I explained that I wanted the Nissan Pathfinder 2020. Because I loved the 2016 so much. But I wanted music streaming had to be Bluetooth. within the week this gentleman called. When we got there everything seamed to be in order. But then the financing bank for the 2016 wouldn't give us the go ahead. The new bank needed the old bank to show that the 2016 was paid in full so we wouldn't be on the hook for 2 vehicles. It took 2 weeks after we paid the down payment. Before we could actually bring our car home. In mean time we're driving a rental. The insurance company had quit paying for this rental 7 days after we gotten it because the 2016 was considered a total loss. The gentleman at enterprise car sales said that sense we already paid the down payment for the 2020 and the bank was holding us up. Then he would contact enterprise car rental's and explain to them what was going on. The rate for the rental was $37 daily the insurance company was only paying $30. But enterprise rentals was hounding me to come and sign a different contract that was going to rase the rate from $37 daily to $98 daily! I don't know anyone that could afford that kind of rate to rent a car for any reason. So I explained this to the gentleman at car sales. He called the rental company and had a little trouble with them, but alimentally got the charges lifted for a week. Then the wait went into week 2. So he called the car rental and argued again. And got those charges removed from my account. After 2 weeks we was finally able to go get or car and bring it home. The prices are great as well. We did look at a diff 2020 pathfinder at a different car lot. The car was a modal below the SL so it had less features and was $10,000 more on over all price. The people at that car lot was pushy trying to make us take that car. That's for a different Yelp review. As for this car lot and the people that work here. I absolutely recommend stoping I or calling their office if you looking for a replacement vehicle or just wanting to add an additional car to your household. They have a great staff that actually listen to what you want, and with the best competitive prices I found from looking online and in person. Great please. I wouldn't recommend renting a car with the enterprise rental. But enterprise car sales in Huntington is wonderful. Hope I don't bore anyone with leaving such a long in detail review.
