This is a factory outlet and cafe for appreciators of freshly roasted coffee beans. The cafe side of the business can do take away, a sit down light meal - yiros or wraps, lasagne, foccacia, pizza or plain toast and they can provide catering for you or your company.
Out in the streets around here it is pretty much light industry, so I understand they do quite a lot of catering for the surrounding business and organisations. They have the obligatory loyalty card, every ten cups of coffee you purchase entitles you to a free cup (conditions apply). If you are a local business regular, getting your morning coffee suddenly got cheaper eh? One in eleven is free as long as you stick to the same thing every day.
Compared to the inner city, which is only a few minutes away some of the prices are a little less on the cafe food and the coffee in bulk is marginally cheaper. There is a reasonable amount of parking off the road and the staff are all helpful and friendly so you may like to try Ricca as an alternative, however the hours are not gong t o suit everyone unless you are an early riser and have time to stop in on your regular weekday routine.
No weekend trading, and they usually close at 4:30 PM. This could make things a little difficult for you unless someone can pop in on your behalf. They open at 7:30 AM though so as I said, you may have luck if you are an early riser.
All in all the actual variety of coffee is good as well. Some full bodied roasts as well as lighter 'Mountain' coffee, not as rich or full bodied. I do like my coffee and have bought Ricca coffee in supermarkets i the area, but once I found the source, as usual, I like the freshness and the slightly cheaper price.
On the other side of the business you can purchase coffee in bulk, equipment to make coffee (the drink) with and there do seem to bee some good savings on price to be had when you look at this area of their service. Significant price differences on those little cafe making machines caught my eye for example, and they do have information on their web site about this so you can check there first. read more
