Our food was delicious! I had ribs and my husband had Cajun pasta. Our server was very friendly and efficient! The building was once a train station and beautifully restored.

Food was really good, quick seating during lunch and the service was also good. Kind of a sports bar vibe on one side and restaurant on the other side. Menu had a lot of options and everything our group ordered was good. Solid choice for the Kentucky Brown!

We absolutely enjoyed our dinner when we were staying in Versailles. We took a chance on Ricardo's based on Google reviews, and it was a great decision. Service was quick and friendly, the restaurant is in a historic old train building. We got the fried pickles as an appetizer, and they were absolutely amazing! For entrees I got the tenderloin medallions with a baked potato, and broccoli. My husband ordered the catfish, he said it was okay, but would have preferred the ribs and they were out. My friend got the steak tips, and said they were quite good with the macaroni and cheese. Overall, if we're in the area doing the bourbon trail again, we will be back. Also, we enjoyed a couple of the craft cocktails. He had an old-fashioned, and I enjoyed the Jim Beam Aloha.

Ricardo's is in an old train depot and the atmostphere is pretty much a pub. Nicely decorated and big enough to hold a crowd. The food is where this place really wins. I got the Shrimp and Grits which was outstanding. I'm from Kentucky originally but live in GA and I thought I'd had some good grits but good gravy these were amazing. The grits were creamy and delicious, the shrimp well cooked, and the sausage was nice and spicy! I could eat these grits for a meal without the shrimp or sausage and I'd be pleased and I don't eat things without meat often. The bread pudding had a nice bourbon cream sauce on it and was also outstanding. Bread pudding is one of my favorite deserts and this one was no slouch. My wife got the hot brown and while I don't have a pic of it she says it's her favorite of the places we've been to.

Great atmosphere exclamation really good burger. And I couldn't quit eating the truffle fries. The old-fashioned to begin with was on and there was great service.

Been here three times within the last year and finally doing a review. Love the outdoor patio here and the inside bar area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Never had to wait long on getting our food. The first two times I've been the food was spot on. However, this time the food was just okay. Nothing great but will definitely come back and give them another shout. Fish was very flaky and wasn't fried crispy crust that you want. Grilled buffalo sandwich was another miss today. Not holding this experience against them. Will be back

Service was good, food was okay and cocktails were disappointing. The interior was large and inviting and they have parking.

Today we visited Ricardo's at 11:30. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our hostess was attentive and noticed we had a toddler with us. She thought ahead and brought us a booster and a kids menu. We were seated on the patio which was nicely covered with fans as well! Our waitress was thoughtful and while taking our drink order asked if we wanted our son's food to be put in first. Service was amazing. The food was ordered quickly and came out hot and fresh. Throughout our meal we had many check-in's from all our server. We will be coming back again soon!

Absolutely delicious food! Great service and such a cool vibe! The restaurant looks like an old train depot. Fun vibe with sports bar with several TVs playing all the games. The bar area has high top and bar seating and a dining area. Love the relaxed vibe. Several beers on tap and cocktails specials and of course lots of bourbon to choose from. Our server at the bar Was super. Quick and she got it all correct but never wrote anything down. Our meal was only $68. We thought that was an incredible deal for the environment and the food was delicious! My husband had the steak with green beans and baked sweet potato and he said it was cooked perfectly. I had the salmon with broccoli and baked sweet potato and it was perfect. Came out very hot and fresh. We both ordered the granny smith salad and loved it with fresh cold greens , blue cheese, pecans, craisins, granny smith apples, mandarin oranges and their homemade champagne honey vinaigrette dressing. We didn't order any adult beverages but the bartenders were busy making drinks. We will definitely come back!

Great dinner. After a ride on the rails 4 of us had dinner at Ricardo's and it did not disappoint. It was 6.45 on a friday night but we were seated immediately and our waiter took our order as soon as we were ready after pursuing the menu. We opted to split two dinners. Dinner # one--2 four oz filet medallions with cole claw and baked potato. The meat was cooked to perfection, medium rare, slaw was creamy and baked potato was loaded, with butter, sour cream, chives, cheese and bacon and puping hot. Dinner # 2--1/2 rack of ribs and chicken tenders with ranch and bbq sauce for dipping served with hot and crispy french fries and green beans. Between the 4 of us we ate every bite. We all enjoyed the ribs, the cole slaw, fries and baked potato, green beans and tenders. And 3 of us enjoyed the steak. It was too rare for one of our party. For dessert we had the banana pudding and the bread pudding. We could not come to a consensus on which was better. Both excellent. Service was great, hostess pleasant, and a cool, laid back atmosphere. The place is huge with dinning areas outside of the bar area. They have outdoor dining as well and plenty of parking, located in downtown Versailles.

So I called the restaurant and asked if they had the game on; the staff member that answered quickly found the manager and said yes we can put it on for you. Bingo! We stopped in and it was a beautiful day so we asked if we could sit outside sitting - definitely and they put the game on out there as well. Lucas was out waiter and he and the manager ( I believe Mike was his name ) would banter back and forth jokingly; which made for more fun. They also place us by an outdoor propane heater just in case. Three of us had Burgers and 1 had a salad. 2 burgers were 1/4 lb and looked like it after cooking; they were tasty. I have the dbl a 1/2 lb also delicious. The brew selections were decent. The game wasn't going our way but we watched to the end enjoying brews and food. The sun went down quickly and they bought another propane tall heater. The first one didn't ignite ( out of gas ) 2nd one out of gas ( apparently someone did shut off the valve but the owner appeared and got a new tank of propane and got it lit. I can't say I've been to a place with so much customer service in a long time. Service was great, food is very good a good sides. Drinks were decent selection and atmosphere was perfect. I know I will be back but I hope sooner than later. This place is in an old strip mall; looks like an abandoned Kroger and possibly a vacant Hope Depot ( that's under discussion still ) I think they have been open about 7 years now and both our visits were awesome in all ways. If you're in Versailles or at Keenland save your appetite and money to eat here instead. You money will go further and your taste buds will appreciate the better food choices and taste! Thank you Versailles staff and owner! I've passed the word to many already that if in the area; stop!

There are two buildings and you check in at the one building, near a parking lot, but then get on a tour bus and they take you to the other building, which has the gift shop. It seemed a bit counterintuitive to start at the other building, then. Before this, I was super hungry, so we went to their bar area in the gift shop and ordered the charcuterie, which ended up just being like a metal box with some meats, cheeses, and other things, and a bag with a few pretzels in it. Disappointing especially for $33, although it kinda worked out because we only had a half-hour before the tour. I didn't know that Woodford Reserve has actually only been around since 1996 but the campus they purchased has buildings from 1890 and later - I would've loved to have heard more about that history even though it wasn't technically Woodford's. At the end of the tour, they return you to the gift shop and that's where you do the tasting - there is a private tasting room. I should probably note that we did the basic tour - it was $35 and my husband said you could get a similar tasting to the one we got, in the gift shop area, for $30, which made the tour only $5, which isn't bad. I did end up buying a pin, a magnet, and a sampler box of their bourbon treats (chocolates etc. - expensive, at $46 or so, but looks good) and my husband bought a few of their bottles. However, next time we are in Louisville we can probably skip this one, I'm thinking.
