    Pub Nachos
    Matt B.

We got here around 6:00 and were able to walk right in and get a a table for two. We started with the Pub Nachos which were very good, crispy tortilla chips with pulled pork, beer cheese, and barbecue sauce. I had the ribs and I ordered broccoli casserole with it but they brought me a sweet potato by mistake. That problem was quickly solved and my son had the hot brown. Our food was delicious and our waitress did a good job so I would definitely return if I'm in town around dinner time again.

Ricardo's Pub and Grill is an absolute gem for comfort food lovers. The flavors are like nothing I've ever tasted--classic, hearty dishes done in a way that feels both homemade and elevated. Every bite hits that perfect comfort-food note. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal with friends. Especially on a day that it was 17° and snowing. We went with a group of six and had plenty of space to sit comfortably and enjoy the experience together. The service really stood out as well, very friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed. Our server made sure everyone had what they needed, checked in at just the right times, and kept everything running smoothly for a larger group. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions you get. If you're in Louisville and want satisfying comfort food in a cozy setting, Ricardo's is definitely worth a visit.

Awesome place to eat! Bluegrass conspiracy burger, pulled pork, bacon was delicious! Broccoli casserole was great, ritz crackers on top. Banana pudding for dessert was excellent!

Had lunch at Ricardo's in Versailles, Ky the other day. It is in a old Southern Railway Station. It has a strong vintage train influence inside and out. It is very green inside Southern green as a matter of fact. I enjoyed all the architectural derails. They offer a full bar and lunch menu. We were seated quickly and the server took our drink order quickly and we ordered some onion straws. The plate was piled high and they were crisp, warm and delicious. I ordered the hot brown. It was completely covered in cheese and mornay sauce. My wife ordered the ribs. They had just the right amount of sauce and the meat was falling off the bone. The restroom was clean and the train motif was there too. Outside seating would be available if the weather was better. If you are a fan of trains you should eat here. If you are not a rail fan you should eat here anyway

We absolutely enjoyed our dinner when we were staying in Versailles. We took a chance on Ricardo's based on Google reviews, and it was a great decision. Service was quick and friendly, the restaurant is in a historic old train building. We got the fried pickles as an appetizer, and they were absolutely amazing! For entrees I got the tenderloin medallions with a baked potato, and broccoli. My husband ordered the catfish, he said it was okay, but would have preferred the ribs and they were out. My friend got the steak tips, and said they were quite good with the macaroni and cheese. Overall, if we're in the area doing the bourbon trail again, we will be back. Also, we enjoyed a couple of the craft cocktails. He had an old-fashioned, and I enjoyed the Jim Beam Aloha.

Our food was delicious! I had ribs and my husband had Cajun pasta. Our server was very friendly and efficient! The building was once a train station and beautifully restored.

    Kentucky Hot Brown

Food was really good, quick seating during lunch and the service was also good. Kind of a sports bar vibe on one side and restaurant on the other side. Menu had a lot of options and everything our group ordered was good. Solid choice for the Kentucky Brown!

Ricardo's is in an old train depot and the atmostphere is pretty much a pub. Nicely decorated and big enough to hold a crowd. The food is where this place really wins. I got the Shrimp and Grits which was outstanding. I'm from Kentucky originally but live in GA and I thought I'd had some good grits but good gravy these were amazing. The grits were creamy and delicious, the shrimp well cooked, and the sausage was nice and spicy! I could eat these grits for a meal without the shrimp or sausage and I'd be pleased and I don't eat things without meat often. The bread pudding had a nice bourbon cream sauce on it and was also outstanding. Bread pudding is one of my favorite deserts and this one was no slouch. My wife got the hot brown and while I don't have a pic of it she says it's her favorite of the places we've been to.

Great atmosphere exclamation really good burger. And I couldn't quit eating the truffle fries. The old-fashioned to begin with was on and there was great service.

Been here three times within the last year and finally doing a review. Love the outdoor patio here and the inside bar area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Never had to wait long on getting our food. The first two times I've been the food was spot on. However, this time the food was just okay. Nothing great but will definitely come back and give them another shout. Fish was very flaky and wasn't fried crispy crust that you want. Grilled buffalo sandwich was another miss today. Not holding this experience against them. Will be back

Service was good, food was okay and cocktails were disappointing. The interior was large and inviting and they have parking.

Absolutely adorable spot for Italian in Versailles!…read more I met up with some friend here for a girls dinner and luckily it was nice enough to be seated on the patio. We started with the arancini as well as the house bread that's served after you're seated- both super tasty. I'm not a huge pasta fan so I ordered a grilled romaine salad (that may be seasonal because I no longer see it on the menu). I added salmon and it was great! Our service was great and I definitely think Vallozzi's is worth the drive from Lexington!

My wife points out Vallozzi's as we were walking back to the car, and we decided to try. We walked in and immediate love the vibe. The restaurant is gorgeous! And they were busy too. We walked up to see if we could get a table. She asked if we had a reservation and we didn't. She said they were totally booked. We were bummed but said thank you and agreed we'd come back when we did. As we were leaving, the hostess chased us down and asked if we still wanted to grab dinner, of course we said yes ...... and so began our dining journey with Vallozzis! Ashley as was our server and we took her recommendations on just about everything! The menu is varied with plenty of options. We started with the prosciutto plate and recommended wine - Teresa got the Angel Rose and I chose the Hall Chardonnay. Perfect. Our daughter had a Sprite, just to put that out there. Our daughter got the manicotti which looked fab! My wife got the Parma, and I got the special beef filet ravioli. Everything was prepared perfectly and we could not have been better service. Thanks Ashley! The ambiance is quite charming and you'll feel very comfortable being here! We needed to get dessert of course so we chose the banana tiramisu and got two of them to go! No disappointment at all. Really enjoyed our time and dining experience here and we'll definitely be back. There's too much on that fabulous menu to try, not yo come back and back and back. Check out Vallozzis! Make sure to get a reservation just to be safe. We will too!

I tasted the whites, never heard of them, awful so you can't go wrong w/ a High Noon. Small bar, three other patrons & bartender was busy talking that I didn't get a drink until I was seated to eat. He came over, like it was his first time seeing me & said oh someone forgot about you over here. Yes, you did. No worry. Started w/ the Charcuterie Board 3/5 the marinated olives (which my server had no clue they were marinated when I inquired more) were the best thing! I could buy a jar of them. The meats were ok, brie was good, the cheddar was stale like it sat out for two days. I ordered the Short Ribs which came w/ a Blue Cheese Risotto. Horrible. I know short ribs are fatty, but only got one piece of meat off of them & the risotto tasted like some kind of cleaning solution & even smelled like it. 5/5 for the Collard Greens. I asked the server to replace the risotto for Collards & he said they can't because the chef thinks it takes away from the dish, unless you have an allergy. I dont eat carbs, but said ok & gave it a taste. I was starving so gave them another try by ordering the Smores Dessert. 5/5 Very good. But I did not leave satisfied w/ the service or food at all. My server was clueless to everything. It's such a gorgeous establishment w/ so much potential! I was not planning on such an awful experience & hope they get it together. I'd like to come back & not feel like Im starving after I leave a farm-to-table establishment. Try it for yourself, but the greens were the best w/ hot sauce. I almost left after the bar experience & the charcuterie board, but stayed to give them a shot. Wasn't worth it.

The queso was fine. Not mad at it, not writing poetry about it either. Then came the entrees: chile verde and a chicken chimichanga. Both were fantastic--crispy, golden, and toasted like they'd just come back from vacation in Cabo. Massive portions. Like, "should've brought Tupperware" big. The kind of meal that stares back at you and dares you to finish it. Washed it all down with a cold Dos Equis. No complaints there--beer was as it should be: cold, reliable, and didn't try to taste like mango or birthday cake or anything weird. Our waiter Jason deserves a shoutout--attentive, friendly, and we had a nice conversation about their EXCELLENT in house hot sauce. The decor? A wild ride. Red, white, and blue everywhere--I assume in honor of July 4th, but it kind of felt like Uncle Sam opened a cantina. A little confusing for the senses, but hey, festive is festive. All in all, great food, great service, and a patriotic fever dream of a dining room. Would definitely come back--maybe with a mariachi band and a bald eagle next time.
