Went on a Sunday night, and ordered the 3-meat combo. I ordered pork rib, dry with their okie sauce on the side, brisket, and pulled pork. This was my first visit; so, I wanted to try as many meats as possible. Brisket was warm but dry which indicated to me that it was old? (1-star) Pulled pork was warm, dry, and stringy, indicating it was old to? (1-star) The pork rib though was tender, fall off the bone, smoke flavored, and tasty. (5-star) For sides, I had the Mac and cheese which was thick, creamy, and cheesy (5-star) Cole slaw which was a little on the dry side but still good. (4-star) The okie bbq sauce had a slight beer taste to it which overwhelmed the flavor of the item being dipped into it. The service was good, and the place was clean. read more

My husband and I were there this evening for date night. We arrived around 6 and the restaurant was not busy. Still we were seated in one of those two small hallway booths where no one pays the least bit of attention. We saw our waitress 3 times. When she took our drink order, food order and then much later when she finally saw our plates and empty glasses on the edge of the table. I pointed out that I ate less than half of mine because it was too burnt to even chew as she was walking away. She came back to the table with our check and said "sorry" without even looking at us. No offer to replace the bad food, no discount, no visit from the manager. Just wanted us out of there. It's one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. Completely unacceptable. I know this place has some bad reviews but since I was staying at the holiday inn across the street didn't wanna go far I came here. I also noticed it had some rather dates pictures and stuff so I got some updated ones. This place im opinion isn't horrible. I was well tended too and the food was good. I got a burger there sat at the bar and drank a beer. Couple things I found irritating. It not deal breakers. 1. I couldn't find a drink menu with prices anywhere til I asked. I feel like this is something that should just be up front in all restaurants but unfortunately isn't the case 2. Burgers by default come with chips and not fries. I think this is a really cheap cop out and unnecessary. I think most people would rather have french fries and dried chips but that's just me I could be completely wrong. 3. The bar has an extension extending out away from the bar towards you and causes there to be an awkward angle for you to lean over and eat your food. Barstool isn't very high and the counter sticking out further enough creates an awkward angle, where you have to, really lean over and eat your food and it just doesn't feel natural. All in all I don't think this place is bad. This staff is really nice and what I ordered was good to as well I would come back. read more

The server was very polite and attentive to the needs of our table and it was greatly appreciated. Even when it was a tad busier with the dinner rush he did excellent. Funny enough, even though it was busier, the restaurant was super quiet and almost off putting. The ambiance seemed weary almost, very hard to want to have a good conversation in. My biggest qualm was with the food itself. It was warm and cooked through, but that's the bare minimum. The rub for the ribs was bland, there was no BBQ sauce for any of the meats on the plate, and even the sides were a touch bland. I did not go in with high expectations and this place pretty much hit right at mediocrity. I think it would be better to experiment with some sauces or spice blends to give more robust flavor. read more

I'd had a bad experience at the Muskogee RibCrib so I wasn't looking forward to stopping here but the hubs insisted on it, so we did. I was pleasantly surprised but still hesitant with ordering much do just got the loaded backed potato with the chicken topper. The chicken was nice and tender and the atmosphere & service was GREAT. they were out of the sliced brisket that the hubs wanted so he was disappointed as well. If you've followed my reviews you already know that I'm Southern and therefore totally jaded when it comes to BBQ. My friend who took me there is from Oklahoma, so she had forwarned me that in OK, it's all about the beef. So I ordered the brisket and some St. Louis style pork ribs with green beans and corn on the cob. I've had better brisket. It didn't have that smoky flavor or any of the "bark" that gives smoked beef its flavor. It wasn't bad, just not something I'd order again. The ribs, however, were smoky, moist, tender and delicious. The sides you get are tiny. Like little girl tea party miniature small. The tiny container for my green beans was so small, my fork barely fit in it. The corn cobbette was straight outta Costco. The server wasn't bad but she didn't really seem to care about our order or if we liked it. She served and delivered the check almost immediately. No drink refills or dessert offered. read more

Ordered online, called when I arrived for curbside pickup, waited twenty three minutes, and then went in and asked for my food, which was already bagged and sitting there getting cold, no one bothered to bring it out, yet when I went in there were at least two servers available. When I checked my bag, to make sure my order was all there, I asked the hostess if they had forgotten the other hot link in which she replied that she had asked her manager the same thing and he told her the little bit of cut sausage was two links, I'm just saying if the staff doesn't think it looks like enough food, maybe something is missing. My other issue is cleanliness, I have never seen such poor presentation, every container and wrapper was covered in food smears, even the paper bag. read more

Rib Crib's food is usually about the same. The service and management varies. The other night was a fund raiser for a school and it seemed very disorganized and unprepared for the customers from seating at the front to getting the food out. Definitely the longest we ever have waited for food, even salads coming out! Ordered two meat platters and both of our meats were lukewarm, green beans were hot that's it. 14.99 now for a two meat platter and skimpy on the portions. "Smoked chicken" did not taste or looked smoked. Tasted water-logged and not appealing in the mouth. Sliced brisket was smoked in a very hot oven. No smoke ring and meat was very dark. Not good quality. Given many chances, but now done with Rib Crib. read more

My husband and I were staying at La Quinta right across the street from RibCrib and after reading a couple mixed reviews we decided to give it a shot. Since the other review of Rib Crib used the word mediocre, I'll try and spice it up a bit: This place is average, boilerplate, characterless, colorless, common, conventional, decent, dull, fair to middling, fairish, humdrum, insignificant, intermediate, mainstream, medium, middling, moderate, no great shakes, ordinary, passable, pedestrian, run-of-the-mill, second-rate, so-so, standard, tolerable, undistinguished, unexceptional, and uninspired. This is the kind of place I would go to if I were desperate for BBQ and there was no where else to go... the BBQ actually tastes alright, but you spend the whole meal talking about places you have been in the past that have better BBQ than this place. A solid two star-er... but plus one for the Carolina sauce they put on all of the tables. read more

I travel to the area every three months to work at the local Air Force bade I make sure that I scheduled it to eat at the Rib Crib on their all you can eat rib night I been doing this for two years. However today was just Dow right terrible I knew right away when the hostess would not sit me at a table and sent me to the bar. ASI waited about 20 min no sight of a bar tender someone came by and said I told her you were there after 5 more min I walked up and asked for a table and the hostess says the bar tender is right here. The bar tender was working the cash register and had a line of 6 people so I knew this was not happening tonight and left. Lessons learned don't ask for a table when you're a party of 1 (never been a problem past 2 years) don't sit at the bar, and always go with a party of 2 so you can get a table read more

I've been a fan of Rib Crib for as long as they have been around, starting with the first store in Tulsa. I'm in Enid on weekends and Tulsa during the week. I'm not sure what's happening with the Rib Crib in Enid, the service has slipped from great to semi poor over the years and so has the food. Tulsa's is still rocking along with great service and good food, so I suspect that the Enid store is a franchised store and a victim of cost cutting and a uninspired staff. I do hope they turn it around, Rib Crib is a good place to eat if your trying to cut carbs. read more
