While Boomarang is a favorite place, our last visit failed to meet the standards we were used to. It was busy. Staff dashing here snd there, trying to take care of customers. When food arrive( as it took a longer than usually time) the potatoes in my scramble were not fully cooked. They were doable but..... might have to try a different location. read more

I've ordered from here many times. The food is great! When you order door dash you will get screwed!! Last order I had, had three tablespoons of hash browns. The best part of the meal was shorted. I've ordered door dash two maybe three times on this place and have always been shorted on the hash browns. The food is really good, but the serving size and lack of care for online orders is well below what it should be. You will get half the food in an online order as you do in person. Showed up and it seemed pretty empty. Had plenty of people working. We ordered food and the waitress forgot the plates, the utensils, the condiments and we got our drinks a little late. The sweet tea was very watered down. The tables were not clean, almost all of them, and the floors were a disgusting mess. The entire dinning floor smelt like microwaved garbage. We got out food and it was extremely bland. No flavor. The fries and tater tots were wildly undercooked and wet. Afterwards, both of my parents, my wife and my daughter got SICK from the food here. First thing you should know. None of these comments have any bearing or resemblance of the experience I had here. There's enough sticklers in the world, so here's a more realistic review for your deliberance for quality food on this app. We ordered the 50/50 appetizer which is a FULL order of fried pickles and mushrooms, which were super crispy and came out with our drinks about 4 minutes after we ordered them. Fresh and crispy are synonymous with the appetizer, and they give you a whole squeeze bottle of ranch which in my opinion deserves a nobel prize, maybe even a world peace medal. Idk, I don't make the rules. Moving on! We then ordered the reuben and the patty melt sandwiches. The patty melt was delicious, definitely get a solid amount of food for the price, and it tasted crispy, crunchy, and fresh. Definitely recommend adding jalapeños if you want a little bit of a kick. The reuben was also a quality dish as well. Got a hefty amount of corned beef that was flavored really well, and the sauerkraut compliments the savory flavor of the meat perfectly. We finished it off with the fried peach pie which paired perfectly with the ice cream. Service was 10/10, even the trainees were respectful and understood our order perfectly. we ate at Boomarang on Oakwood Saturday night my husband said that was the worst reuban sandwich he ever ate and having been on over the road truck driver he has ate plenty all over this country but Boomarang on Oakwood road got that award! so then we went to Boomarang on Randolph I ordered crispy hash browns and got soggy greasy hash browns my husband eggs the whites of the eggs was still snotty! and if that was t bad enough the male waiter was picking his nose running hands through his hair and then served someone else a plate of food without washing his hands!! this is sad because at one time both places had good food at decent prices but not anymore I'm surprised they could get a good report from health inspectors! read more

Worst food ever. Ordered fish sandwich, it was soggy and half cooked and fries were out of rancid oil. We also ordered biscuits and gravy, eggs, hash browns and a pancake..along with sweet tea and a coffee. The tea and coffee were the only things we could consume. Not sure how this business stays open but thank goodness, we're not from here and don't have to depend on this horrid business. For $43 we could've had much better. Great little throw back diner! I had their Diner Double cheeseburger which was served in minutes and was hot and delicious. The separate small order of fries were washed down with perfectly sweetened sweet tea. Prices are modest...double burger $6.99, fries $1.40 and large sweet tea $2.29. Service was friendly and seemed to be all-hands-on-deck as I had three different waitresses checking on me and refilling my drink, even offering a to-go drink before I asked! Absolutely terrible establishment. I went her to eat breakfast with my mom; I had not seen her in a while and they recommended this place. It was disgusting. The floor was nasty, people (mainly the employees) were kicking trash all over the floor. The waitresses were extremely rude and discourteous; every time they asked if everything was okay they did it trying to hurry us up and leave. The food wasn't just cold, it was arctic, and when I said something about it to one of the waitresses her response was, "I'm sorry, I'll let them know, we did just get done with rush," like that was a valid excuse for cold food. She not only got my order wrong and my moms order wrong, but she over charged us when we paid. They took what should have been a great experience with my mom eating and ruined it. This may be a chain, but they are THE place for a catfish dinner or catfish sandwich lunch in a lot of towns. Generous portions of really good Diner food. My sister likes their BLT. My husband and I ate here on September 25. We came in around 11:30. We got our drinks and order taken right away by the lady that used to work at Golden Corral. It took almost an hour for our food to come out, and when it did, it was cold; my Omelette was not cooked all the way through. A tall blonde came to our table to ask how everything was, and I told her. She apologized and said she would take our food to the back and have it remade. The girl said that it shouldn't take long to put a rush on it. She also sent her manager to our table. It was a short younger woman with black hair. She also apologized for the food being undercooked, cold, and the amount of time it took. She informed us that they had someone not show up, and they were swamped, and the kitchen was having some issues trying to keep up. Which we know understood since they were short in staff. We also knew beforehand because we couldn't find a parking spot. She took our ticket and offered a gift card for the next time we told her no, we understood she wouldn't take no for an answer. I have never been treated so nicely. She is a great manager, and we will tell everyone we know how you guys took such care of us. Those girls run around all over the place and work very hard. food was good. most of the staff was good and friendly. there was a girl that wasn't friendly and she happened to be our waitress. we waited over thirty minutes for our food, which was ok beings it was very busy. i asked our waitress if our ticket got lost because there was several people that got there food before us and had got there after us. she was very short with me and just not happy. we usually get the waitress with the blond pony tail and she is super with her job and happy, i would just make sure you got her table:) read more
