I'm not from Enid, and wanted to try a place that I've never heard of before. Bricktown Brewery was near to my hotel so I have it a shot. The tables are arranged great, but if you get a window seat at sundown it is really... sunny and annoying. The noise level is moderate, but not too loud. The wait was minimal, and our waiter was very attentive to us. The menu was pretty large, and they had a good alcohol drink menu as well. The food was overall good, but I didn't care much for the Mac n cheese. My kiddo had the burger and he reports it was amazing and the juice poured out when he picked it up and bit into it. We ordered the chicken nachos, elote dip, the turkey bacon guacamole melt and an order of onion rings. We picked it up to go. Which was super easy and convenient. All of the food was 100% on point. The atmosphere is a good mix of a sports bar and family restaurant. It has a comfortable vibe and enables conversation within the group. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive and engaging. We were able to sample a few of the Bricktown beers before making our selection. I liked the Bar Hop IPA, lighter and less hoppy than most IPAs yet very tasty, and my husband enjoyed the Old King Kolsch which was a crisp clean and somewhat creamy finish. For our appetizer, we really enjoyed the fried okra which was crispy and perfectly seasoned. As a matter of fact, my husband ordered it again as part of his dinner choice along with green beans, also very tasty. I chose the Bluesberry poached salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli, all were cooked to my preference. We also shared a side salad with the blue cheese dressing, fresh and plentiful. When we're traveling, I want to visit something different and unique to the area, something local. But, the friends we were meeting wanted to go to BB. That's fine b/c it's relatively new to them (as they live in Enid). The location was apparently an old Appleby's and the BB chain has made it look great and has customized it to their brand. It was pretty busy when we arrived (around 6) but we quickly got a table for 5. (By the time we left around 7:30, it was packed.) Our table order the burger, chicken fried steaks, chicken fried chicken, and the protein bowl. I ordered the latter and would definitely order it again. I'd also order the chicken fried steak (as I snagged a bite). The protein bowl was huge and be aware that even thought it's served on lettuce, it might not be the healthiest bowl you've had. It came with a dollop of pulled pork, bacon, sour cream, guacamole, cheese, and a fried egg. :) It was delicious. Order it with the Brown Derby vinaigrette. The chicken fried steak was highly seasoned so be aware. All in all, I would return. And, I even might get to our local BB soon for another bowl. read more

Great new spot in Enid! The food was actually very good and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I went with my friend Kyele and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Collectively we had avocado fries, the dipping trio, a bricktown grilled chicken sandwich and a breakfast burger. We liked the appetizers (The avocado fries were good but not as good as we were expecting) and I thought my breakfast burger was amazing. I am so impressed with the great service, the happy employees, the great manager! I was at the soft opening. The food was spectacular! The wait staff was fast, efficient, thorough, even though they were learning the menu, the routine, the whole 9 yards. I took some chips home in a go box along with my leftover lunch. Mom liked them. Kettle chips . Nice and crunchy. So, I called and asked if I could get 2 orders, unsalted, told them I would be right over, as that was all I wanted. The manager asked me if I wanted any other food. I explained my mom eats them and watches her soap. He did not charge me for the order. I was thrilled! I've ordered a few more times since then. Always unsalted chips. Hot and fresh out of the fryer. I pay each time now, but there is a chip addicted old lady who thinks fondly of thus place while she happily munches her unsalted chips. This is a new great place in town. They have a wide selection of food, the atmosphere is nice, along with the bar. I have to mention that I love their chicken tenders! It is definitely one of the best I have had, it's a must try. Their pizza for one is a good size and it was also good. One concern is their service is a hit or a miss sometimes. If you go on a Friday night and it's busy it can take a little before your server comes but they have been getting better. My daughter and I went to Bricktown on 24 March at around 8 pm. The hostess told us there would be a 15 minute wait because they had a big "to go" order. There were numerous open tables throughout the restaurant, but they took our number and wanted us to wait on their bench or outside. One couple was already waiting. 10 minutes later another couple comes in and the hostess tells them it will be a 15 minute wait, so they join the bench. I asked the first couple how long they had been there - ten minutes before I arrived and they were also told a 15 minute wait. Must be common core math employees! You cannot go wrong with this restaurant. The Pretzel sticks with queso are fire. The pretzels came out fresh, extremely soft, and topped with thick salt. My daughter's chicken strips were huge and fried perfectly. I got the bacon cheddar burger, and my husband got the breakfast burger. The burger sauce they put on there is out of this world. All three of us were very pleased with our meals. You also can't go wrong with the selection of beer they have. If you're a pale beer drinker like me, I highly recommend their Honey Kolsch or the wheat beer. Atmosphere is very down to Earth with many tv screens for viewing sports. It's pretty good for a joint in Enid, but that's about it. I'll try to keep it short and sweet. Highlights: 1. Medium-Large portions; my mom couldn't finish hers, but not large enough for a to-go box with me here. 2. Food: Well-seasoned mashed potatoes and not dry chicken from the chicken nachos. 3. Good service. To elaborate, I usually tip by how many times someone refills my water, and my waitress, refilled it seven times. Sadly, she cut it off when the meal was over, so I'm a bit parched, but that's okay. Lowlights: Bland or too salty food most of the time. The meatloaf was pretty bland, nothing special. The chicken fried steak tasted like garlic powder, and a hint of flavor. The green beans were way too salty; I had to mix them with my mash potatoes, giving me the nostalgia of the microwave dinners. Bonus bathroom review: 8.1/10. Pretty nice looking bathroom, not dirty at all. However, nothing fancy or unique. Also, the urinal was oddly placed, being right next to the sink. I couldn't take more than a few bites. If you order the salad, make sure to ask for dressing on the side. It's a cross between garlic dipping sauce and Mayo. The chicken was tender on the inside, but the outside was overcooked and tough. The cheese on the nachos was barely melted and the chips were soggy. Perhaps I went on a bad night. The meatloaf has onions in it. I'm not an onion fan. Chicken fried steak and gravy is pepper, on top of pepper, with some more pepper. I home cook dinner almost every night so I always compare restaurant cooking to mine. So, it's purely personal preference that I didn't like the food.
