Motherlode
Joe M.

My wife and I found Rib Crib shortly after moving here last year. Every dining experience has been great. A nice rustic restaurant with succulent BBQ since 1992. Tonight, we ordered smoked jumbo wings and the Motherlode. You can have your choice of sauces smothered on the wings or on the side. We chose buffalo sauce to smother the wings and we were not disappointed. Well if you don't know what the Motherlode is, let me tell you. You get smoked shredded brisket, pulled pork, sliced chicken, sausage, pickle spear, and Texas toast along with your choice of two sides. We enjoyed the cole slaw and Smokey BBQ beans. Most of all, the service by Stephanie was amazing. She was very friendly and attentive. We have often ordered via Door Dash and the food is always hot and delicious. The tasty food with great service will have us returning. Bon appetit!!

Tried the Rib Crib while visiting Oklahoma. It was good for a cheaper version of BBQ. Prices were good and reasonable. My boyfriend got the club with Okra, and I got the 3 rib plate. The Ribs were okay, just had lots of fat. Okra was good and so was the mac n cheese. I'd eat it again!

The Smoked Jumbo Wings & Seasoned Fries

The Smoked Jumbo Wings & Seasoned Fries were hot & delicious! My husband ordered his favorite - the Motherload! It comes with four smoked meats, 2 sides, and bread! Although it's enough for two people & we often share, I wanted to try a little something extra tonight! And I'm glad I did! We often order through Door Dash (which never disappoints), but we decided to dine in tonight. Stephanie waited our table and she was very nice and attentive! After recently moving to the Tulsa area from Nashville, we are searching for our new go-to places! When it comes to smoked meats - wings, ribs, chicken, brisket, or sausage - Rib Crib takes home the blue ribbon!

In the are for a baseball tournament.... And celebrating mother's day also! This was the right place at the right time!!!! We were seated instantly with our party of 9! The service from Ragan was fantastic! The drinks came out lightning fast and we're refilled if they got low. The food came out accurate, hot and tasty! The portions were big enough to split and that's what a few of us did. The mom's at the table got free dessert as a promotion they had and that was super generous! If in the area in the future (as we will be with family in the area) this is a must stop. Thank you Rib Crib for doing all the right things on this mother's day! Respectfully, Bryan Moore Oklahoma

Portions have been cut way down and the menu has gone up about 2.00 across the board. They were out of a few side items but that's ok. Food was ok this time.

I've had my fair share of BBQ and I have to say this was excellent. Order the ribs and chopped brisket and you won't be disappointed!

Ok, I'll preface this with I KNOW my 'que…read more.. I'm a former partner in 3 Guys Smokin', Tulsa original "poster children" for barbecue competitions here. We started in 1987 and founded the Art of BBQ, the former fundraiser for Tulsa's Arts and Humanities Council, as well as the Bixby Blues 'n BBQ competition. Over the years we won MULTITUDES of awards, with our biggest claim that our baked beans took second in the world at the KC Royal. We manufactured and marketed three award-winning sauces and a dry rub. Case made?? Good, keep going please! I accidentally found Luke's a few years back and now I'll drive to Coweta from Tulsa for lunch as it's THAT GOOD!! It's honestly some of the best BBQ I've ever eaten. I went last week for lunch and got my usual, sliced brisket and pulled pork. Both were incredible, but the pork was AMAZING, something that usually doesn't impress me. I can get a butt nice and juicy, but NOTHING like Luke's!!! Not sure if they brine, inject, or what they do?? The meat is soaked with delicious juices and you can tell that it's inside, not just added if that makes sense. The brisket came off the point, which is not what I typically prefer, but it too was incredible. Go early, burnt ends seem to sell out first. Great portions, I always bring home leftovers. I'll TRY not to dive in to my plate and get some pics next time; can't promise tho...

Finally made it here. I'm from TX, so I judge every BBQ place by their brisket. Lukes is probably…read morethe best I've had in OK (places in Wellston and Pawhuska are pretty close, too). It had a good bark, smoke ring, was tender and had great flavor. The portion size was healthy, too. The okra was average, but the portion size was plentiful. The beans were very good, but sweeter than I prefer. My wife had the beef ribs which were the best outside Kansas City I've tasted. She did not care for the mac and cheese but liked the smoke flavor the the white cheese they used. Order at the counter and they bring the food to you. It is a tiny mom and pop place so be there by 10:30 to avoid a line that steadily grows until opening. Lukes reminds me of some of the best small, local BBQ joints you find all over Texas. I hope to get back here when I'm in the Tulsa area.

If you associate the blues with Bar B Que then Elmer's BBQ is the place you ought to visit…read more The soundtrack of this hole in the wall place is pure Memphis blues. The decor is all about BBQ and blues. This is definitely no corporate contrived eatery. There is a genuine feel of the bluesy barbecue world. We ordered the Nelson's plate for 2. We substituted the bologna and hot link for chicken and pulled pork. The barbecue is the real thing. The beans have a Smokey sweet flavor that is perhaps the best bbq beans in Oklahoma if not the country. The pulled pork was also tender and sweet, expertly cooked. The brisket was tender and easy to chew. The ribs were perhaps the second weakest part of the meal. That said I have eaten worse in most places in Tulsa. They were tender but in my opinion could have been better. The chicken was the weakest part of the meal. It was a bit dry but tolerable. The potato salad was creamy soft with just a slight hint of vinegar you expect to taste in potato salad in a perfect balance of flavors and textures. We ordered the Mac and cheese was very cheesy and included a cheese pull with a slight funk in the aftertaste that makes it very different dish from the standard offering at other places. While I'm not a sauce user I tasted the sweet and the hot sauces. The sweet was very sweet and the hot definitely hit with a sting I normally avoid but I'm sure would be welcome to the well initiated. I definitely recommend Elmer's barbecue for those pining for blues and barbecue
