Milanesa and bolognese

Everything about this restaurant is 5 stars. The food is incredible and you can taste how fresh and high quality the ingredients are. It is a very special experience dining here, I've enjoyed it every time, it's consistently impressive.

As soon as you enter this gem of an Italian restaurant you are greeted by the hostess who welcomes you and brings you to your table. You pass a large bar area and then walk into an inviting dining area with lighting and pictures that makes you forget that you are in NYC. With music playing in the background, you are then greeted by your wonderful waiter and served the best drinks and food that you could ever wish for. The owner, Dominic, welcomes you and makes you feel part of the family. We have made several trips to this diamond from LI and are always looking forward to our next visit. Our meals usually start off with an Ol' Fashion and the Espresso Martini, our favorites. For appetizers, you will not go wrong with the tender fired calamari, baked clams and our favorite appetizer, baccala, a special cod spread that you will just love. If you are into trying something new, I highly recommend it. For the main course, our family enjoys the stuffed lobster, crispy branzino and the salmon, the fuzzi and nojki ( Croatian specialty pastas), chicken marsala, tuna and steak. We end the night with coffee and of course, palacinke, crepes filled with jelly or Nutella. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so take a look at some dishes we have had in the past and plan a visit.

Great addition to Astoria! Food was amazing and the staff were all great! The interior space was beautiful. Reminded us of many of the higher end Italian restaurants in the city we like. The outside area is enormous and has both a covered area and completely open area. I have dined at the owner's restaurants in the city and always had great meals with family, friends and clients. It's great to have the same caliber of restaurant in our neighborhood and will be back frequently.

This desert right here was everything!

This place opened up near my house, from the outside it looked so nice. I've now been to this restaurant over 10+ times, it is super clean, staff is friendly, the decor is elegant & simple, but the food, the food is scrumptious and mouthwatering. And to top it off, the food is well prices, with an amazing wine collection.

My new favorite Italian restaurant! Everything was amazing from the service to the food (including after dinner drinks). I really enjoyed my visit here on Christmas Eve. I will be back!

Absolutely thrilled to have such a fantastic and delicious restaurant right around the corner! My husband and I love coming here whether it's for a quick bite with drinks or a full course dinner, it never disappoints. Hands down, the best pasta in Queens! If I could give this place 6 stars, I would!

I absolutely love this place--it's like eating in a fantastic restaurant in Italy! I've found a second home. The food is genuinely Italian, with no unnecessary twists on time-honored recipes, all served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. One of the true tests for any Italian restaurant is the gnocchi--it's either delicious or a soggy, chewy mess. The Gnocchi al Pesto at Rialto? The best I've ever had. But honestly, everything we ordered was outstanding. Perfectly cooked pasta, Veal Scallopine in a white wine and lemon reduction with sage--just sublime. They've only just opened, but Dominic and his team are clearly on a great path--and we, as lucky diners, get to go along for the ride. Highly recommended!

We made it just in time for some happy hour, bring on the muled wine. Then continued the night with a wine flight and some Lambrusco for me. Before coming here I forgot how good a Lambrusco is and this really reminded me by having it as an option in the flight then by the glass. For food I had the whipped ricotta and the arugula salad, I mainly was craving the whipped ricotta but that ended up having a lighter flavor and the salad was my preferred dish. The servers were great though, we stayed almost to closing after a friends jacket on the coat rack was taken by a different patron and we waited until they could come back and swap. Thank you to the servers for helping track down the other customer and getting that situation taken care of.

Really cute space on the lower level. Prices were standard for the neighborhood. Drinks were good…read moreand service was attentive. The food was lackluster though... we ordered 5 things but none of them were special, except maybe the flatbread (mushroom ricotta). I'd go back but consider it a drinks spot, not an impressive kitchen.

Wanted to write this review based on the wheelchair accessibility and laptop areas…read more There are coffee shops in the neighborhood with laptop rules that say you have to sit at the high tables. Obviously as a wheelchair user, I cannot sit at the high tables, and when I have asked the staff for understanding, other places have denied me. Ines let me use my laptop at a wheelchair accessible table without any fuss. Mark was very gracious. When I asked, he said, "we will make an exception." I felt heard without advocating for common sense and I greatly appreciate the humility. Thank you!

Ines is the jack of all trades of neighborhood cafes - whether you're just starting your day with a…read morestrong cup of coffee or winding down with a glass of wine after a night shift, there is something for everyone here. The coffee is excellent - I believe it's roasted by devocion. I also love how they serve their coffee in glass/ceramic cups and glasses for those dining in. I usually will get the healthy start - I love their dressing and the eggs are always seasoned perfectly. The staff are nice but can seem a little stressed when things get busy. They adhere to strict "no laptops and tablets before 2pm" and "no outside coffee" policies.
