This is not my first time at Rhody Slice, although the first time for a review! This place sits in a random shopping plaza off Post Rd in North Kingstown. The bright orange sign is your beacon to delicious pizza! Pull in, find a spot and head inside to a gorgeous cafe-esque pizza shop. A beautiful slice display showcasing 6 different pizzas, and plenty of local options for soda, beer and wine. They make NY style pizza here at Rhody Slice. The staff here are always friendly and efficient. The person helping you is usually the one making it, so it's nice to be able to speak to your pizza maker directly if you have specific needs! We were pretty simple today, half pepperoni and half meatball. I love their crust the most. It has great texture, and it's so tasty. You can really taste the care they put in the dough. They tend to go lighter on the sauce, so keep that in mind if you are a sauce-forward pizza lover. The pepperoni are all beef and the meatballs are clearly homemade and tender. The pizza eats easily, it's so light! Between the two of us, we crushed the whole pie. Another satisfying lunch at Rhody Slice! It's not hard to overlook this place among the many plazas on Post Rd. I recently ordered takeout from Rhody Slice in North Kingstown. I tried calling in my order but couldn't get through, which has happened the past two weeks, so I ended up using the suggested Toast app. I ordered a gluten free pizza. The crust was thin, which I know is typical for gluten free, but mine was a bit burnt around the edges and a little light on sauce and cheese. The flavor itself was ok and it actually reheated well the next day, which I appreciated. My boyfriend ordered the 18" hot honey pizza and said it was solid. Not the best he's ever had, not the worst, just a good, straightforward pizza. It was on the pricier side, especially with the added card and app fees. The sauce really shines here without competing elements. The pepperoni was really good too but the ronis overwhelm the rest of the slice. But excellent quality all around. Looking at those slices on that branded pink paper with the tomato pattern, you can see what they're going for. Casual but considered. Fun but serious about the pizza. The branding matches the vibe of the place. First stop of the day. Set the bar high. Five more to go, but Rhody Slice made it clear this was going to be a nice day for pizza. Picked up 3 pies. Food was prepared quickly and service was good. Crust was nice and thin. Sauce was also flavorful and herbacious. The highlights were the margherita pizza and green pepper/ onion pies. We also ordered a basil/ spinach/ and sun dried tomato pizza, which we were most excited about. However, to our disappointment, the sun dried tomatoes were much saltier than expected and cut into large slices, making them very tricky to eat. The price was also a bit higher than expected, with 3 pizzas coming in at $100. Overall decent experience, but avoid the sun dried tomatoes and be prepared to spend if ordering whole pies. read more

Rhody slice Unassuming from the outside, but Rhody Slice turned out to be a little gem in North Kingstown! When you walk inside, you're greeted with lots of natural light and natural wood tones. I loved the cute wall of open shelving with plants draped throughout, and I thought the hanging paper lanterns were a lovey add. This restaurant is a casual counter service spot, and the worker who took our order was very nice and efficient. I ordered a slice of the Fun Guy, which had ricotta, mozzarella, portobello mushrooms, infused truffle oil, fresh arugula, and parmigiana. I have to say that I was very impressed with the pizza! The toppings were flavorful, and the crust, from first bite to last bite, was enjoyable. I really liked how the mushrooms were cooked and the truffle flavor came through nicely. The slice was also enormous! Definitely a generous portion of pizza. My overall experience at Rhody Slice was great! Everything from the atmosphere to the food in front of me was enough to entice me to return for a second visit soon. Wow! First of all, I've been driving by this pizza place and had no idea it was there! But after a massage next door, I was like let me give this place a try! Amazing customer service and delicious pizza. I had the cheese and chicken, bacon, and ranch and the cheese was normal nothing extravagant, however, the chicken bacon and ranch pizza was sooooo delicious that we went back for more slices. A great spot for a quick slice! If you're in South County to or from the beach you need to check this spot out. They serve full pies and other things as well, but if you need a slice and a coke (or in this case a local Yacht Club cola) there's none better. The dining room is great with high tops and small tables to sit and enjoy your pizza. So. here's my wicked positive review on Rhody Slice! Now we all know Pizza is one of those things you just can't argue about- because everyone likes what they like and there is no right answer ‍ Rhody Slice decor is beautiful- all the plant propagations really caught me eye first and foremost OF COURSE. The branding is also eye catching- love the It's a small joint and they have counter seating overlooking the parking lot or a couple tables to chow at. Order online or in house- no phone calls! And GOOD FOR THEM!!! I wouldn't wanna talk to you Karen's Ken's and Brads and Chads either. The pepperoni pizza is basic as pizza goes. Thin crust, salty savory sauce and the large round pepperonis. It's like a 6.5 for me on the pizza scale only because I prefer a thicc pizza with more toppings etc. Next time I want to try the eggplant pizza and the hot honey pie. This is a great spot to stop in for the slice or wait for a whole pie (one size only though) if you need it quick on your way... I've had the Margarita Pizza and Pepperoni and I loved them. First the crust is thin and crunchy -the way I like it- both crunch and chewy. Every time that I have come in to roadie slice in the middle of the afternoon. There have been at least two and often three types of pies available. A few minutes in a piping hot oven and they are ready to eat. So far I've sample the basic cheese, the white pizza and the margherita pie. Each one is distinct and delicious. I keep coming back to the cheese. The interior of Rody slice is clean and freshly decorated with comfortable seating. the selection of oregano, hot pepper, and garlic is standard, and each of the shakers is kept clean and fresh. My family considers Pasqual's in the south county Commons as the top pizza in the area. I'm gonna bring them home a pie or two from Rhody slice and see how they react. My bet is that they'll love it. I will start with the fact that I am a pizza snob. The best pizza I've had in RI is at Al Forno- the margharita-outstanding every time. I had to give this place try since I drive by regularly. I ordered a slice of their Margharita and I was quite impressed! Thin crust with both crunch on the bottom and chewy consistency. The sauce was excellent! Decor inside was nice and gave me a serene feeling. Service was super prompt and friendly. Though I took my slice to go, I would eat there without hesitation.
