Nicholas saved me because it was after 9pm, mall was closed (for the most part), and the carjack was unstable and my car could've fallen down on top of the jack if it wasn't for his fast reaction in placing the lugs back on and lower the jack in time (uneven surface caused the instability of the jack). He asked me to move the car a bit farther on a flat, well-lit space and replaced the tire with the spare tire. Thank you for being such a great person who stepped in to help in a dire situation.

I wasn't too excited about going into the mall for just one stop at first, but it ended up being pretty easy. As long as you go in through the right entrance, you don't have to walk the whole mall, although we love the huge size and selection at Great Lakes! We used the map right by the door and found GameStop quickly. The mall felt welcoming and had a lot going on, so it's definitely a place you could spend more time if you wanted to. Even though we didn't need help from mall staff, we were greeted by a few people as we walked through, which was nice. It turned out to be a smooth and easy visit overall.

My favorite stores to shop here were: Just Cozy, TJ Maxx, Burlington, and The Nike Store. All of these stores had items that I needed and all of them had a large variety to choose from. Many of these stores also had great sales and specials. They had a Winter Wonderland setup and Santa Claus was there for photos. I also appreciated that they had Christmas Carolers from a local church group singing live here. The food court was not good. We had a family member get sick from the Japanese food place, so please be careful. The variety in the food court is also a range of different options, which was good. This indoor mall is now my fave here.

They seemed to have some decent prices, but items I liked were too big to take home on the plane :-) I was surprised they had a Goodwill next door....full of really cool Halloween items....the best items were big animated figures for $299....little pricey for something they received for free, but that is typical goodwill. Clothing and household section was small in my opinion. I was looking forward to the Lululemon store, but not too impressed with the prices. Most prices are the same as the online prices "We Made Too Much." I came back after the Labor Day weekend thinking maybe they might have different deals....NOPE. Same stuff and same prices. I have to say, the employees here were not friendly here either so maybe it is a Michigan thing? I especially appreciated how the staff was working so hard to get people shoes to try on. The place was so packed and the staff here was very helpful. My advice is to come the first few hours that this store is open, when things are freshly stocked. The ladies section seems to be missing sizes beyond L and that is a problem for women like me who love to buy XL for my fit. Great place to buy special gifts for the athletes in my family, thanks.

But what is possible is to find deeply discounted Nike items. Another tip of note - ALL SALES FINAL. They make it very obvious going through the store, signs at the cash register, and the staff let you know before swiping your card. The store has items for all ages. The women's section is pretty underwhelming. All of the clothes are pretty much on circular racks within the store and very close to one another. One rack had sports bras, another had shorts, another had tanks, and another had active outdoor wear. If you dig enough you probably can find a deal. But like I mentioned earlier it's hard finding coordinated outfits because everything is just all over the place. Shoes are in the back while men's is to the right of the entrance. Fitting rooms have 3 stalls and during a busy Saturday afternoon, they were pretty messy. However, staff were very nice and helpful. I replaced them and continued to have issues. I then spent $60 on a part that did not fix it. The other part I need is another $75. I asked if they could help or replace the part (they have several in store) and was having a conversation with one of the owners who then proceeded to read and ignore my messages for days. Then asking again and I was treated awful. They refused to help at all and claimed to not have the part. I have attached the pics of my conversation. I was also told I shouldn't have used Arcade 1up support to try to fix it. I bought a microwave, an arcade, and several small items totally around $600. This business doesn't care about customers. They want your money and then don't care if you ever return. Scum of the earth business practices from scummy people. You should be ashamed. The claim that I was allowed to fully test in store is also false. A man stood there holding the power cord and extension cord and after 3 seconds of it being on started saying everything looks good. I was rushed and sold bum product. They have at least 5 other units and claim not to have the parts to replace it. What a joke. Better Business Bureau will also be contacted. There are a lot of name brand and quality pieces in their shop, especially the toys: it really surprised me. We didn't really see pricing on items in the store and it is packed with products (enough so that it can be hard to find or view things), but I realized afterwards that it would be better to check their website beforehand for whatever you want and then check the site when in the store for pricing on random items you find.
