This mall is sorta like Partridge Creek and the outdoor mall in Rochester, but not quite as nice…read more Still it's not too shabby as far as smaller shopping centers go. It has a few stores that I like and it's in between the Flint area and metro Detroit, so it'll do in a pinch if I'm in the Brighton area, which happens now and then. They have a varied selection of stores, ranging from Dick's and Barnes and Noble to J. Jill, Claire's, Pier One and Five Below, plus a whole lot more, in addition to a few decent watering holes and eateries. In truth, they have more restaurant options than I would assume they might at such a small-ish open air/strip mall. It's better than having limited options or eateries with excessive lines or a crappy food court with just fast food garbage. I like the Pier One store, but the Barnes and Noble is not my favorite B & N location, but it's still nice to have a brick and mortar book store in the area. This mall has a few shops that we don't have at home, plus a variety of others that we do. Other than that, the parking is adequate and the location is pretty decent and convenient, just off the expressway. I'd like to see a few more boutiques open up, but for now, the mix of retailers is decent, relatively varied and the options for food & drinks is great for such a small venue.

There was a large parking lot out front, no steps to get inside, the establishment was well lit, smelled good and had shoes everywhere. The slippers are located in the back of the store and there were many options for men. We knew what we were looking for and found a great pair right away. We were in and out fast. At checkout we were asked if we had their awards and we did not do that was a bummer. Overall the value for the slippers was very reasonable anyway.

Most of the stuff in my kitchen came from this store and it is quality merchandise at a price that makes me smile. Do I NEED five cookies sheets? Probably not, but did I buy them all anyway? Absolutely. I also purchased a dinnerware set with cherry blossoms on it. These square plates have stood the test of time - used over and over, run through the dishwasher, dropped off the side of a deck (don't ask) and they still look like brand new. And now I am informed they have added items to the line - canisters, napkin holders, tumblers - oh my! I have to get back to this place. Also, the workers there are FABULOUS! SO helpful and knowledgeable - they make the visit that much more enjoyable.

I like coming to this Hot Topic location. If you love niche pop culture entertainment, especially…read moreanimation, this store gives you access to a lot of clothing and accessories to let your fandom shine. I came here for some Studio Ghibli magic and found a nice rack with cuteness. I also came looking for Sailor Moon items but only found one t-shirt. So the themed items come in waves of popularity, so if it is "off-season" for your favorite show or pop media, you may not find too many items. Still there is a lot of choose from packed in a really small space. Rent is high, so having a small space if usually ideal, but perhaps it has limited the amount of clothing available. In the past, Hot Topic had a lot more actual clothing, like retro dresses and fun sweaters, now that space has been downsized to a tiny spot on a back wall. I wish they would bring back more clothing. I also hear the company has trouble with licensing, which has led to a decrease in available products. Which is disappointing. Still, shopping here is fun. They have more than clothing, they have blind bags, fun candy, and still some unique finds. The individuals working here are always friendly, and usually go out of their way to assist you. I have always had wonderfully positive experiences. The sales are good too. If you shop smart you rarely have to pay full price and their clearance racks (usually located in the far back of the store) can get you some buy one get one free bargains. Always know your prices though, the register was not ringing up all of the sale items correctly, but the cashier was friendly and patient, and fixed the errors. We got socks buy two get one free, buy one T get one half off, $5 shorts, and $10 tanks, not too shabby! Time for me to stock up on the holiday gifts!!!
