Romel inspected the outlet, fixed the issues and gave us his recommendations--including the need for a single pole, 30 amp GFCI breaker. Initially, I contacted RG's due to a wiring issue arising from a newly installed HVAC unit and existing wiring was not up to code. Since the purchase of my home it has been an electrical nightmare... from what appears to be a DIY special. I have had a ton of items on my "wishlist" but live within my means on a modest budget. After the owner quickly responded and came out to resolve my A/C wiring issues and then went the extra mile to improve the performance of the new a/c I was absolutely thrilled. The owner and his staff were punctual, professional, and took pride in their work and completely cleaned up afterwards. I requested an estimate for the additional repairs / improvements needed to my home electrically. He made the necessary notes, measurements, and promptly sent me a written estimate that evening. I went on to replace my breaker box due to the fact that it had several previous broken bus bar pieces. Having been given multiple estimates and feeling like a low priority with other electricians, who either don't show up, provide inaccurate information, I again hired RG's. Because of the owners knowledge and experience he was able to determine that my repair likely met the criteria for a "fast track repair" and bypass weeks long waiting and in fact did. The repair was fast tracked and the seamless coordination between the necessary permits between the city and utility were handled flawlessly by RG's. The power was shut off early in the morning and back on with a new breaker box before noon, just as I was initially advised. Finally, I had RG's install a mini split that would accommodate an addition on my home that was not climate controlled. The owner worked with a HVAC company to ensure that the unit was fully charged and that I met the conditions of professional installation so as not to void my warranty. The owner Rommel was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout this process as well and by listening to his suggestions and reasoning for his suggestions as far as placement and opting not to do a multi-zone. I believe that I have ultimately saved money and have a more aesthetically pleasing exterior in addition to the security and peace of mind of a contractor that does not cut corners and recognizes the importance of a job done correctly and safely. Pricing was more than competitive, this company also offered the option to pay via credit card. I recommend this company to anyone who values supporting local businesses, especially those who demand that a job is done well and safely. RG's & Sons company jumped in on short notice to perform the street trenching and electrical work on a Saturday of a 3-day holiday weekend for our HOA neighborhood. The HOA was caught by surprise when the window for this work was months earlier than expected. Romel and his crew manually dug a trench across the entrance street to lay the tubing and electrical conduits. They even hand-dug a pass-through under the brickwork edging to minimize any damage. They came the next day (Sunday) to complete the dirt and asphalt cleanup to leave a trench ready for the asphalt company to complete the job. I removed an interior wall and had them come out to run the electric to other locations that was in the wall. Then I had them run electric into the slab so I can have power when I install a kitchen island. They were on time, pretty reasonably priced, and their availability was very fast. We wanted to install upgraded bidets (heated seats, water, and blow dryer) in three toilet areas. This required installing 3 new outlets with GFI. Romel and a helper installed all three in a short time at a reasonable price. Now when we need to go we have what I call some time at the butt spa. Today I asked them to replace a ceiling fan that went bad. It took less than an hour for a good price. Watching him do the work clearly showed I had a significant chance of hurting myself or damaging the floor by dropping the heavy fan. One must accept one's limitations. read more

I'm very suspicious of all these 5 star reviews here. Here is my experience. I called Rommel at (602) 430-9447 and explained what I need done. He said to text him the address and everything electrical I need done and he will get back to me with a quote. I texted him everything, but I never hear back from him. I call him a few days later to follow up. He said he will come out Friday to look at everything I need done and give me a quote, I said great! Thursday evening I texted him to confirm he's coming, he texted back and confirmed he will be there. On Friday he never showed up. I called him, he said he's running about an hour and a half late, but he will be there. I kept waiting around the house all day and he still never showed. Completely waste my whole day! He called me at 7pm to reschedule, told him I won't let him waste anymore of my time. Do yourself a favor and find a pro, these guys aren't it! read more
