We hired Econolight to do a couple of projects at our home in Phoenix. We had can lights installed, several outlets installed outside, a couple of fancy USB charger outlets installed inside, and we also put in dimmer switches in our main living areas. We got an initial quote quickly but given the large scope of work, we were unable to get scheduled for about 6 weeks. Now that all's said and done, I can confidently say that they were worth the wait! Jay and Chase did an excellent job. They were professional and worked quickly, yet safely. They left absolutely no mess behind, which is impressive as they cut through ceiling drywall to put in the can lights. They prepped the room nicely with large sheets of plastic to prevent nasty insulation from getting into our carpets. We are very happy with the work and we will certainly hire the Econolight crew again for future electrical needs. read more

Absolutely the best electricians in the valley. They did a whole house rewire for me, installed a new service with panel and sub-panel, Spa installation, under eaves installation, installed electric vehicle charger, TV installations. Accurately quoted and will answer all my questions day or night. Phenomenal customer service. Came out in an emergency when roofing company accidentally broke an electrical connection on the roof and rewired HVAC unit (Godsent). They warranty their stuff as well. Nobody touches my electrical other than Econolight. For my upcoming kitchen remodel, the contractor I choose will need to work with these guys. The kicker is that they are very competitive with their pricing for the service you receive. read more

An excellent local business! I had numerous electrical outlets that were not working, including a trac light, a couple fluorescent bath fixtures and several outdoor fixtures. John assessed the problems, in some cases requiring only new bulbs, in others replacement of fixtures. All the work was completed quickly and effectively (and at a very reasonable price). Will definitely use these guys in the future! read more

I have used Econolight about 4 times. They are a small local business that is professional and provides fair pricing. It all starts when you call them, they give you a clear idea of how the pricing works and when they can show up. There is never I have no idea what the charge would be and then when they show you understand why they did not explain on the phone. When they get on site they quickly access what needs to be done and then get the process going. Their trucks they use are well stocked with supplies so there is none of, "I need to run to Home Depot to get a part". They have 1) replaced two ceiling fans and added a new one (I supplied fans), 2) put 220 outlet in garage for EV charging, 3) installed security video camera, 4) upgraded all ceiling spotlights in kitchen to LED (I supplied retro fit lights), 5) removed outlet so I could have dog door installed, 6) installed external security camera (I supplied camera), 7) added outside electrical outlet, 8) trouble shot electrical switch, 9) added inside outlet for my entertainment system. They are super quick and professional, give great advice, show up when they say they will, have fair pricing, and cleanup when they are finished. Great people and organization for any type of electrical work. read more

I called today to see if I could get a visit from an electrician soon because my kitchen lights stopped working, mysteriously. Velen asked me if I had checked the breakers, I had but didn't reset them, she told me the first thing their electrician would do would be to reset the breaker switches, so I did and now my lights work. I will be needing some upgrades in the future and will be calling Econolight, especially if everyone there is this nice read more

Econolight did a few projects for me yesterday and they were great! On time, professional, listened to what I wanted, explained things when I asked questions and worked very efficiently. Do not look anywhere else for an electrician. I have utilized Econolight for over 2 years. I had a very complex panel replacement and odd issues throughout my house that required expert qualifications. Econolight far exceeded my expectations. Brian, Jaimee, Shane, Jay, and the entire crew went above and beyond to stay in my corner when they could have easily thrown up their hands due to the moving parts associated with my issues. Instead, they maintained constant communication, were responsive, easy to talk to, and above all, respectful and empathetic humans which was a relief considering how stressful my project was. If you want a company you can unequivocally trust to be in your home, and complete your project the right way, Econolight is second to none. read more

We converted our regular fireplace to one where we could use electric logs. Brian came out to do the initial estimate very timely and very nice and James and Albert came today to run the electrical. Wow!! Second time I have had service from Econolight. Fabulous! From the office staff who get you in touch with whoever is needed for the job, to the actual estimators or electricians, you get excellent service. Free estimating and good ideas--reasonable charges!! Just had Jay over to put in some outdoor security lights. He gave me enough information to make good choices--one of which was to re-use a light I had in another capacity instead of getting a new one. read more

We had Econolight come out to install two sets of recessed lights - one set in the family room, the other in the living room. To make the decision to go with Econolight, I relied heavily on the 39 positive reviews that I read on a competing website that focuses on contractor work. I also checked out their website, and reviewed their custom lighting design projects that they had completed for other customers. My project was very basic, but they can clearly do some very sophisticated lighting arrangements. They came out very quickly, and gave us a firm quote. The quote price was almost exactly the same as another electrician who had quoted the same job. They also made some suggestions about how we could improve the arrangement as compared to our original idea. We went with their recommendations. We had Econolight install both sets of lights about one month ago. Both sets of lights are FANTASTIC. They were fast, friendly, efficient, and tidy. We have had many compliments on their work, and the additional light has made a huge difference in the enjoyment of our home. We should have used Econolight years ago. read more

I have used Econolight a couple of times now. Moving into a new house and was looking for someone to do a couple of small items and called them again. The owner was super nice and gave me an appointment and a ballpark estimates even with my cryptic requirements. Jay and Kyle showed up at 9 on the dot as promised, they finished all the work I requested and Jay wrestled with a 10 yr old transformer to get the landscape lighting work. He could have taken the easy option and claimed that he could not fix, and made me buy a new one. He fixed every one of the landscape lighting and made sure that I am fully satisfied before he left. The work site was left in impeccable condition. I will recommend them to anyone. read more

Thanks to Brian, Mark, Steven, and everyone else I've talked to at Econolight, for being such a great team that has completely exceeded my expectations. I interviewed 4 different electrical companies for a big electrical project and Brian impressed me the most out of all of them. And I felt like he was the best fit for my project. I'm so glad we moved forward with them because they have been honest, fair, communicative, on top of everything, and did things correctly the first time. I definitely know I made the right decision. I will be using them for all my electrical needs going forward and highly recommending them. read more

Econolight was an amazing find in very hectic situation last week. I had some electrical problems that needed resolution the same day. I was dialing for dollars until a wonderful woman answered the phone and helped me find an available electrician to come to my house the same day!! I didn't have time to get 3 bids...I needed the work done ASAP in order to close the sale of my home. Jay showed up in the afternoon, got everything fixed in record time and ...the big kicker...they didn't over-charge me! Not this time. Thanks Jay for an amazing job!
