I called Pelican for a second opinion and rather than just push new hardware, they did their due diligence to pinpoint the problem.They figured out that not enough power was being supplied to the pool panel and it ended being a bad breaker that was supplying too little voltage for the pump to operate. One new breaker later and I am back up and running. Thanks Pelican for being good people and not just pushing products.

All in all, it took about 4 months to complete the project from design, permits, and start to finish, and this seems on par with other pool building companies in our communities. Their crew worked in the dead heat of our Arizona summer heat waves and although we offered coolers for them, they were self prepared. I am happy to report that after enjoying our pool for a full year, no issues to be reported of the pool. Kangaroo pools have remained in contact, and fixed any issues (very minor) that cropped up. Vince, Vanessa, German and their teams coordinated well and were responsive in their texts throughout the build. The key to working well with them is making sure you're ontop of your own communication, articulation, and clarity. If you consider yourself a good communicator, then working with Kangaroo pools will be a breeze and you can benefit from fair pricing out of the 5 other pool services we contacted and compared with during the time. I was very particular about the drainage and irrigation out of the yard, and they listened to my feedback, and did not hesitate to dig back up the corrogated piping and his crew was accommodating and did it the way I wanted. After doing some research and suspecting either low water flow or calcium buildup, I decided to go with Precision Pool Tech because they offered a lower service call price than the other companies that responded. I'm glad I chose them! It turned out the problem was simply a handle I didn't realize needed to be turned to allow proper water flow through the pipes. Although I was a little frustrated that I hadn't known this sooner, the technician was great. He checked the calcium levels, made sure everything else was running properly, and took the time to explain what he was doing. Very knowledgeable and professional--overall a positive experience.

It wouldn't go down and didn't do the job a pop-up does. The process goes very quickly. The pool is beautiful, turned out great, except the pool aerator was put up to close to the edge of the pool so it is crooked and askew and looks bad, very noticeable. Of course, they didn't have the attachment in when they had me sign off that everything was great. Still waiting to see what can be done to make it look better. Hopefully something! We did sign off on this ahead of time just want you to be prepared if you have anything in your current yard. So, you will have your funds. One warning when they have you sign off on them destroying your current yard meaning anything on the way to where you want your pool such as lighting, irrigation whatever is there believe them. They will destroy even where you don't think they will. Have your money ready for those to be repaired or redone.

In late March 2024 we contracted with Fowler's to service our pool, spa and water feature. We…read morechose them because they had a very high rating on Yelp. During the initial months, their service was outstanding. At their recommendation we had them replace multiple components to our system. Their initial performance resulted in me writing a five star review on Yelp. In the past year, their service for us had deteriorated significantly. I contacted management multiple times regarding various issues. I complained when they replaced a very competent service technician with an individual who was marginal at best. After several months, he was replaced by another individual who was only minimally better. During the early months of our contract, Fowler's agreed to clean our water feature filter two times per month at no charge. Recently we noticed a reduction in the flow from the waterfall for our water feature and asked the technician to clean the filter. He replied "I'll do it next week". Several days later the water flow stopped altogether. This resulted in another call to management who subsequently informed me that the two times per month cleaning of the filter had not been done for the past five months. He then told me that they were no longer honoring their previous commitment and would only clean the filter every four months with a cost to us of more than $200. If additional cleanings were needed, we would be charged an additional fee. At that point, I decided to look for other vendors. The two that I interviewed both said that the water feature was full of algae. This was without any prompting by us. I contracted with a new vendor who cleaned the water feature filter and removed the algae. The time to clean the filter was seven minutes. To jeprodize a very lucrative contract for a seven minute task makes me question Fowler's business expertise. In retrospect, after spending over $13,000 with Fowler's in less than two years, I realize that they were not the company for us. I gave them more chances than most and they failed to perform to my expectations. I now know why they have recently received poor Yelp ratings from other individuals. On their website, they failed to include Yelp ratings. I wonder why!!! Richard J.
