    David is the first pool guy that literally takes gratitude to the next level and stands by his name. He cares about your pool and wants to make it look it's best and will give you the lowest price on anything that needs to be replaced or repaired. Awhile back, I needed to replace my spa light that was burnt out. I had 3 different quotes but were all $300 for the light and $125 to replace the bulb. I had had it replaced years ago, and the light fixture wasn't even half of that. After using David for the last month, he had found a $12 light bulb, and well as you can see, it works great!

    David was great and helped me get my pool back to all its glory. From green to clean. He was knowledgeable and able to explain the process and sent quotes quickly and fairly.

    David is awesome at what he does! Our pool looks great, he's taken the time to educate us newbies on our new home/pool, answer all our questions, and we're all always on the same page. He's also been very flexible with us as we get comfortable/settled as new home owners. Highly recommend him!

    Found this company on Yelp didn't have a lot of reviews but they responded quickly after short interview David came the same day. Assessed what was needed and was able to add us to his schedule. He's affordable and very honest. Highly recommend.

We had the trifecta of challenges, a hard dig, lack of plumbing, and a giant tree. The team worked ahead of schedule and way under budget, had their squad in early and over weekends to build our absolute dream pool. All in all, it took about 4 months to complete the project from design, permits, and start to finish, and this seems on par with other pool building companies in our communities. Their crew worked in the dead heat of our Arizona summer heat waves and although we offered coolers for them, they were self prepared. I am happy to report that after enjoying our pool for a full year, no issues to be reported of the pool. Kangaroo pools have remained in contact, and fixed any issues (very minor) that cropped up. Vince, Vanessa, German and their teams coordinated well and were responsive in their texts throughout the build. The key to working well with them is making sure you're ontop of your own communication, articulation, and clarity. If you consider yourself a good communicator, then working with Kangaroo pools will be a breeze and you can benefit from fair pricing out of the 5 other pool services we contacted and compared with during the time. I was very particular about the drainage and irrigation out of the yard, and they listened to my feedback, and did not hesitate to dig back up the corrogated piping and his crew was accommodating and did it the way I wanted. We are very happy we hired Kangaroo Pools to build our pool! We chose to have them maintain our pool with their pool service and the email updates we get about what they did each week is very helpful.

    I hired this company for almost two years. They were great, until they completely screwed us over…read more My new tenants informed me that the pool had algae and was really dirty. I didn't understand why because we had weekly pool service. I reached out to try to understand what was going on. Tara (customer service contact) then told me that they had not been able to access my backyard due to the lock code changing. This conversation happened one day ago (Sept 21st). Our lock code changed in May! I went to my ring cameras and service had not been completed since September. Unfortunately, this was as far back as my ring camera allows me to see. Unfortunately, I can only prove that the service I was being billed for was not completed for 8 weeks. This probably went on for much longer. They claim to have sent me an email on Sept 19th (which at this point I don't even care to go find), but never picked up the phone to try to contact me or fix the issue. When I called to ask them to fix the issue, they tried to charge me for extra chemicals and the extra service to rebalance the pool. Charge me more for a service I had been billed for but had not been complete?!?! They said it was my fault for not informing them of the code. Yet, it was okay for them to keep showing up to a locked code week after week without picking up the phone to call me or text me. They said they had to pay their techs for each visit and that's why they would not grant me any service without additional payment. I also paid for filter cleaning service that the manager said had not been completed due to lack of access... again, there was no phone call for them to try to resolve the issue. Had I not reached out, they would have kept charging and just showing up to a locked gate. This is an awful business practice! They lose a customer over fixing a small issue. I would not recommend this service to out of state owners, STR owners or anyone who is not at the property daily to confirm service completion.

    First off, our Project Manager Gary was great very nice and helpful throughout the entire process…read more Gary even came out and fixed a pop-up that never worked right from the start when it was put in. It wouldn't go down and didn't do the job a pop-up does. The process goes very quickly. The pool is beautiful, turned out great, except the pool aerator was put up to close to the edge of the pool so it is crooked and askew and looks bad, very noticeable. Of course, they didn't have the attachment in when they had me sign off that everything was great. Still waiting to see what can be done to make it look better. Hopefully something! We did sign off on this ahead of time just want you to be prepared if you have anything in your current yard. So, you will have your funds. One warning when they have you sign off on them destroying your current yard meaning anything on the way to where you want your pool such as lighting, irrigation whatever is there believe them. They will destroy even where you don't think they will. Have your money ready for those to be repaired or redone.

I chose Presidential because they seemed more established and have put together more pools on the year than any other pool company. To be clear, I think we saw every pool company in west valley working our project BUT Presidential. They are brokers who use good businesses to complete their projects on their behalf. My issue with Presidential is that as brokers, the best trait they could have is clear communication. I had a project coordinator that clearly had too much on his plate. Days to respond to calls and texts, missed appointments and extremely slow to address issues that I was catching in the work being done. I had no peace of mind throughout the entire process and we had to rip up completed hard decking due to issues I was catching, being pushed aside by our coordinator (it's odd how much decking increased our rate during the quoting process, but when it had to be ripped up and removed, received pennies on the dollar in refund). Possibly my biggest issue is they require final payment well before the completion of their work and finishing this project dragged out for several weeks with a no-show appointment and a continued lack of communication. Still have lights that flicker and only offer 1 color, with a service ticket in for nearly 2 weeks now and no solution in sight. If you include a pergola in your project, expect to coordinate this portion on your own. They were completely non-existent once the pool was finished. I want to think that we just drew the short straw in hopes that others spending this amount of money aren't left feeling ignored and unimportant. I will say that Chris Cox and Walter Pendle were phenomenal people to work with and really went above and beyond once they got involved. Towards the end of the project, I was going directly to Chris and he responded within minutes and truly cared about our issues. Walter showed us the system/app and was thorough and easy to work with. He was a pleasure to work with. My project coordinator came out recently.... not to check on how the pool was or if we had issues, but to take pictures to file in their catalog. Just terrible. I hope that no one has to go through what I did with their projects, but will say that I would never recommend them to friends and family.

During the initial months, their service was outstanding. At their recommendation we had them replace multiple components to our system. Their initial performance resulted in me writing a five star review on Yelp. In the past year, their service for us had deteriorated significantly. I contacted management multiple times regarding various issues. I complained when they replaced a very competent service technician with an individual who was marginal at best. After several months, he was replaced by another individual who was only minimally better. During the early months of our contract, Fowler's agreed to clean our water feature filter two times per month at no charge. Recently we noticed a reduction in the flow from the waterfall for our water feature and asked the technician to clean the filter. He replied "I'll do it next week". Several days later the water flow stopped altogether. This resulted in another call to management who subsequently informed me that the two times per month cleaning of the filter had not been done for the past five months. He then told me that they were no longer honoring their previous commitment and would only clean the filter every four months with a cost to us of more than $200. If additional cleanings were needed, we would be charged an additional fee. At that point, I decided to look for other vendors. The two that I interviewed both said that the water feature was full of algae. This was without any prompting by us. I contracted with a new vendor who cleaned the water feature filter and removed the algae. The time to clean the filter was seven minutes. To jeprodize a very lucrative contract for a seven minute task makes me question Fowler's business expertise. In retrospect, after spending over $13,000 with Fowler's in less than two years, I realize that they were not the company for us. I gave them more chances than most and they failed to perform to my expectations. I now know why they have recently received poor Yelp ratings from other individuals. On their website, they failed to include Yelp ratings. I wonder why!!! Richard J.

What's most upsetting is they don't take responsibility - they blame everything except themselves and their product/install. Usually a company that is proud of their work would make sure the problem is fixed the first time it breaks, but nope, this "brand new product" keeps breaking and they are utterly shameless each time they come out and never say sorry, but just start blaming other things. If they want to fix this, take your product back and give me my money back. Just like your product/install, the trust is not fixable.
