Still love this place. I took my mom here for Mother's Day and it was a real blast. The lady working up front was really friendly and helpful. I got the Burrito Vegetariano (which is what my mom got last time we went). I really liked how big it was. It was full of squash, rice, spinach, tomatoes, and onions. This time, the waitress let us know the rice actually had chicken stock in it (which is a shame to know now since my mom is a vegetarian and she ordered that last time). My mom got it with only extra veggies and no rice this time. I got it with the rice. Honestly, the rice didn't add to the burrito. Next time, I will probably get this dish without the rice and with extra veggies. They really stuffed my mom's burrito with veggies which looked way more delicious.

Probably the best Mexican I've had in a long time. It was the first time over gone to a Mexican place and didn't get sick in the stomach from the grease right after I was eating. The food was authentic and it was less greasy then most Mexican places I've been too. My stomach is very weak and o can't have too much grease or I get sick. I ordered the chicken fajitas and they were so fresh and tasty. My daughter got the rice and chicken fingers and was happy with her food as well. The staff was friendly and really good with getting refills, etc and the price was good too. Paid about 30 bucks for me and my daughter to eat. I would recommend coming here.

A friend of mine and I came here for lunch yesterday. It's a cute place with lots of colorful decor. The menu has a lot of items to choose from. I went with the number 28 lunch special. The food is very good. My friend and I both enjoyed our meals. My friend got a spicy shrimp lunch. She liked it. I tried a piece. It was very good but I have a hard time with spicy food. If you like spicy food you will like the spicy shrimp. It is BYOB for now but we were informed they are working on getting their liquor license.

I have been meaning to try Rey Azteca for years but always ended up somewhere else. Finally I stopped in the other day with my family. My brother has been coming here a lot since they have chimichangas. Their menu is pretty extensive but they didn't have a lot of pork options. I got the tacos Al pastor which were flavorful but didn't come with a lot of food. The filling was pretty light - the pork was little pieces rather than shredded like I had expected. 3 tacos with pork and pineapple a side plate of onions and cilantro and like. Beans on the side. I just wanted more , more filling in the tacos and maybe rice and beans on the side , something a little more filling. The salsa was good and their chips were fresh and hot. I'll be back to try something else, I wanted something lighter which is why I chose what I had ordered. I'll definitely try enchiladas or a burrito next. Their takeout also looks really good so that's an option as well. Our waitress was nice , the restaurant is fairly small and very packed with not a lot of room to move. It's clean and they have a decent amount of parking . It's definitely popular for sure.

Fish with scales. Very nasty. They do not clean the fish.

-5 totally dissatisfied. Place was dirty. Our table was not cleaned after the last customer because you could tell how dirty it was and the chairs had french fries all over. The food was bland, food was a disgrace. I personally ordered a fried fish and it had fish scales (sharing pictures). My friends order a fried Chimichanga but it was not fried at all. The other person ordered shrimp tacos and it had no flavor and the pico de gallo was super salty. All in all, this was a bad bad bad experience. I wish i could give this minus 5 stars but unfortunately in order to write this review i have to give them a star.

This is the new restaurant at Street Rd just west of Newtown Rd in Warminsrer PA. Pleasantly surprised when I asked for the most authentic dish on the menu and I got the Molcajete del Rey! Delicious! Steak, shrimp, Mexican sausage, chicken, cheese, one big, hot jalapeño , onion and cactus came out sizzling in a stone bowl! Dinner for 4 persons with margaritas and beer was still under $100 before the tip. I'll definitely be back.

If you're looking for delicious food- fairly affordable, and great service- this is the place. The guacamole was amazing. I even felt like the chips were better than most Mexican restaurants. I tried a steak bowl; it was DELICIOUS. I can't wait to go back and try more. I also liked that their cups were cold, and their menu didn't just feature the same thing most Mexican restaurants serve- it wasn't just chain restaurant fully delicious but common fare- this many had a few different options. Give them a try. I don't think you will be disappointed!

Being from Arizona, I eat quite a bit of Mexican food and do get some authentic eats since we are so close to Mexico. I was a little worried trying Mexican food in the east coast, but we were both really happy with the food we got here. The service was very friendly and the location was very clean. I appreciate the staff assisting with boxes as we definitely ordered more than we can eat as we wanted to try various items. It was great for leftovers and a midnight snack as I can get munchy at different times due to the time zone difference. I'd definitely return when visiting her and would recommend to anyone in the area if they want Mexican cuisine.

Another rendition of this fast growing Mexican cucina on York Road, Hatboro. The space is small,…read morewith dining area in front window and another in back connected by a narrow hallway with room for a few hightops. Simple decor and straightforward street food menu (tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, etc.). I was in the mood for a Torta Milanesa (steak). It arrived less than ten minutes later. The beef was breaded and fried, with melted white cheese, jalapeño, grilled onion, lettuce and tomato; packed into a basic kaiser roll. It was surprisingly heavy and a bit slick from the oil the steak was cooked in. I cut it in half and commenced to consume. The steak was an easy chew and all its participants contributed well to my enjoyment. Filled me for the rest of the day. The Tamarindo drink was housemade - very sweet, yet with a sour final note. Very good and refreshing. Service provided by a young gentleman who seemed to be running the house this Sunday afternoon. He was busy, but stopped by a couple of times to check on my satisfaction. I provided a solid report. El Limon (The Lemon) has a simple successful formula for their expanding empire. Make it basic and comfortable, both in decoration and cuisine. Avoid unnecessary glitter and tourista painted tables and chairs, and remain true to your roots. With 30 shops and counting in the Montco/Bucks region, they know what they are doing. 4 Estrellas d'Oro!

I had been in the hospital and after binging Anthony Bourdain's (R.I.P) shows while there I felt like something I dunno; to remind me of home or feel like I was on some kinda travel adventure. I researched some spots nearby and El límon caught my eyes as it had a similar name of a place I used to frequent back in Cali. As soon as I was discharged from the hospital I drove right over. There is pretty ample street parking in Hatboro and I believe you may be able to park in a lot nearby but don't quote me on that. I came with a big appetite or so I thought. I decided to get a bit of everything. I was greeted with a warm welcome and I told the gentleman it was to go and he gave me a menu and allowed me to take my time. The restaurant is cozy, a few tables and ok decor. As I perused the menu some people came in for takeout and two families sat in to eat. The are was very clean and it also has a stand up dining area/counter. I decided to get 3 tacos, beef, al pastor and Leng's or tongue. I also got a sopa, chicken as I recall, a pork tamale and a Milanese torta or veal. Oh, and also birria beef tacos(3) as they come. My eyes were bigger than my stomach The wait for the food was a bit long but I ordered quite a bit. The pricing I felt was a bit on the more expensive side but what isn't these days so I would say reasonable. Put it this way if you're bringing a date to eat here you could easily spend $50-$100. Not bad right? So, I went back to my place and I did have to reheat some of the food. I had the tacos right away. All were good except the lengua. Lengua is on of my favs and this one did not have that soft gelatinous texture I was looking for. It may have been a bit overcooked. The birria tacos were awesome! Great flavor with the sauce, slightly chewy but I expected that from the beef. Now the sopa I only had a bite and ate the rest the next day as so with the tamale. The sopa was a bit dry but the toppings were as expected including the cojita cheese. The tamale was pretty good again this is reheated food. It was also Slightly dry at the ends but the middle and filling (pork) was alright. The pork was not as tender as I expected but not bad. Now the torta was pretty good, I had everything on mine. It was hard to eat despite that but I couldn't recognize it as veal per se. It also had a sauce on it that I was not familiar with. Flavor-wise it was good and I wish I had started on it early on. The meals do come with sides of sauces salsa roja from peppers and verde from tomatillos. They were a great accompaniment to the dishes. I didn't get my feeling of homesickness or nostalgia fulfilled but I got a good meal. This place seams to be a local fav and I can see why. I've since been again and so the same. I hope they improve on those tacos de lengua. Also I steamed the tamale the next time I got one and the masa was a bit more tender but the pork not as much. I recommend this place if you have a Mexican food craving, a night out with friend or the family; also not a bad date spot. Oh, I forgot to mention they do have a great assortment of Mexican soda and I believe they make horchata and Jamaica too. Looks like a reason for me to go one more time. So, if you are in the Hatboro area and it's just about meal time drop into El límon for some good eats and a siesta afterwards!
