Not sure what a self-photo studio is? It's a private room dedicated to you for the increment of time you reserved. Staff provide you with a set-up camera, clicker and an after shot monitor for you to see the pictures you took. It's simple. Props and accessories are available to borrow -- to enhance your photos. You can also bring your own accessories and other outfits to change into. The room is set up with different complementary themes for a fun variety. I appreciated the freedom to express myself in front of the camera, boisterously laugh with my friend, and take unlimited shots to ensure we captured the perfect ones. At my pace. I found this studio through Yelp. I needed some photos for my passport and didn't want to settle…read morefor the CVS spread (It lasts 10 years, and I wouldn't want to spend 10 years looking at an ugly photo lol). I came at exactly 11am, the time that Stella (she was nice) asked me to come. They sat me down thinking I was there for a wedding shoot and we had a good laugh out of it. The passport photos weren't exactly exceptional. $30 for a set of four, it seemed a little too much price to pay for the quality. Throughout the picture taking I felt like I was rushed, almost seemed like I was at CVS which I tried to avoid that's why I came to the professionals. 2-3 clicks and that was it, didn't even ask if it was OK. The photographer told me I can't smile, although through research, I found on the travel.gov website that you can either have a "neutral facial expression or a natural smile". I'm not sure I'd use these photos for my passport so I'd say this was a total waste. Judging by their wedding shots in their studio that they are good at what they do. But I can't say the same for passport photos.

I can't remember the guy who came to my daughter's birthday to take pictures but he took awesome picures too. We went a bit crazy and spent over a grand as she was our first child, some might think the place is a bit pricey but it was worth it. Great experience overall.

Room was set up and i took some full body photos and some half body. They sent me the link to all my photos right away, i will be downloading them all tomorrow as it was a crazy weekend. The service was great, they warned me when time was almost up and helped me with some props. Also printed 3 photos for me which i loved. I will def be back and recommending it to friends. Btw the mirrors here with the fotolab logo was a great touch! Loved that so much. Lastly i want to say they are great with responding on IG and send multiple email reminders which i loved because i forgot the code to enter the building but since they texted and emailed i had it on hand.
