It was in the middle of a hot summer day, the main staff was not there so the two photographers took care of us. The picture turnaround time was really fast, and amazing. They knew how to take baby shots. Fast forward to the holidays, we get an email for a FREE holiday photo shoot! Of course we bit, and made great Christmas cards for it. 6/26/2021 We went in for our first photo shoot for my maternity session. I went in thinking it'll be like any other photography place, but BOY WAS I WRONG! The photographers are all super friendly and great at what they do (especially, the owner/master photographer)! The packages are well put together and I feel like I got way more than I paid for. Plus, the studio is HUGE! There are so many themes there that are well put together, you don't feel like your pictures are going to end up feeling one note. They showed us a few of the pictures as they were taking them, and I kid you not, they are amazing. Mind you, it hasn't been touched up or anything! I'm super excited to go back for our newborn, 100 day, 6 month and 1 year birthday photos! I 100% HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone considering this studio to go and get their photos done! They have a wide range of services (family, wedding, portraits, etc.). When my granddaughter was two weeks old, we took her here to get newborn pictures taken. It was one of the few places that even took pictures of newborns. The photographers were very detailed oriented and patient during times that the baby needed to be nursed. The sets for pictures were numerous and clean. You were requested to take off your shoes when entering. The session lasted for hours and was well worth the price. The final pictures were awesome! The registration staff was also effective and courteous. It is a family run business. I am always happy to support small establishments and would recommend this photographer to any family! The only down side was that it takes a long time to get your edited pictures. On the plus side, they didn't complain when we took our own cell phone pictures. At least that way we had pictures in time for Christmas. read more

Having no experience with baby photographers and what to expect, I thought I'd be in for a day of crying, exhaustion and be taking home one cranky baby. Thankfully, my experience was nothing but absolutely the opposite. Mr. Kim, he owner, and his wife were hospitable, kind and I never felt like I was being over sold on anything. They were generous with their snacks, time and hospitality. If you're like me, you'd walk in not knowing what to expect. Our little one had his 100 day session that day but we were invited any day to come and see the studio just to give them a heads up when we were able to. The decor is modern and cute, similar to the layouts in Korea, which was exactly the look I was going for. They definitely made sure my little one wasn't exhausted or hungry and offered me multiple breaks throughout the session which lasted 4-5 hours. Even parents are offered homemade waffles, drinks and cup ramen! We felt like family because we were treated like family. I've referred several friends after our session and they've all assured me that their experience was nothing short of amazing. I will be coming back for his 1 year session and I've asked them to do his 1 year party as well. Packages are fairly priced and the prints are superb. They treat all their clients, no matter if you're Korean or not, with dignity and respect which I feel like some establishments do not. Highly recommended. read more

I saw this place on Yelp over two years ago and I decided to pick them for my daughters photos. It was my first kid and we decided to go with a package.. this included a maternity and three milestone photo sessions for my daughter. The maternity was great. We got some nice ones inside and even got a couple outside. Newborn I was a bit nervous because basically my entire pregnancy was when covid started and after she was born it was winter and right before anything started really opening back up. They were so patient with her and they took sooo many photos. To this day I still haven't chosen the ones I need for prints and albums because there were so many and I love them all. Then came her 100 days... she was alright but not very cooperative. We did still manage to get some cute photos but they were so kind to even offer us an extra session for some photos because she just wasn't having it that day. Anyways come her one year. This is baby was already walking around when she wasn't even one yet and her sass... well she was born with it. Once again they were very patient and we got some lovely shots!! Love the fact that for each milestone they had clothing options and even though we had brought some clothes for her and us. They also had ideas in their mind with their outfits and our styles. Anyways... now my son is here and we obviously choose to go back cause hey we didn't have a bad experience. We sign the same package and we knew what we wanted. The maternity we didn't go outside this time but we did get to have some photos with my daughter involved which was priceless. This time I had a different outfit vibe so it's kind of cool to see the variations from my daughter and son. Newborn photos... we just let them take over. They took some with my daughter but now she's a crazy two year old who does as she pleases so they were very patient with her and knew when to take the sibling shot and when not to. They also took some photos of her while he was changing or just resetting which was nice. We actually had a moment to just sit and chill with her while they took him and took photos. I don't know I mean I was watching but not like a hawk. I knew how the photographers worked so I let them do their thing. The photos were soooo precious! We just had his 100 day. We went a little past the 100 days because we wanted to make sure he could hold his head up (he hated tummy time). We managed to get some cute shots. The only downside was it was holiday time so they were pretty busy with Christmas shoots. And we shared our time with another family. Thank god I knew them cause if I didn't I honestly wouldn't have been comfortable. Anyways the photos were cute. We also got in some sibling shots and some family ones. I'm waiting to see how he will be for his one year. I definitely like the fact that I choose to use them twice because even though they have a set style... so far each kids photos have been similar but different. You could see how the variation but you can still put it next to each other and it was look the same. The photos.. there were many but the turn around time is great. Ahhhhhhhhmazing!!!!! So far I have been here for my maternity shoot and my baby's newborn & 100 day shoot. Just got back from my daughters 1 year old photoshoot. The shoot went great, as always. Photographers are so professional & sweet. Backgrounds are always so so so adorable. After my daughters regular scheduled photoshoot, they told us to pick a Christmas outfit and my daughter got some pictures with their Christmas back drop which was SO BEAUTIFUL. We're talking a dozen lit Christmas trees, gnomes, lights, snow, deer, the whole 9. It was truly a winter wonderland. And so generous of them to let us have this back drop as a bonus. Back when we went for the 100 day shoot, while we were just chitchatting, I told them we were having my daughter's 100 day party that same night. During the party, I get an email with an AMAZING slideshow from the studio of her photoshoot just a few hours earlier! We were able to play it during the party. I was in tears! How thoughtful of them!! I would wholeheartedly recommend this studio for any type of photography needs (maternity, baby, family, etc). The studio is HUGE! They have so many gorgeous back drops. They have a TON of clothes, hats, headbands, shoes & all sorts of props for you to borrow for your child. It's really an amazing studio! And everyone there is super accommodating. I find studios to take baby pictures every half year. So far I have used three different ones. I used both the other two studios more than once, not this one. This studio is the only studio I had trouble picking pictures to keep after they sent me the drafts. They took many but seriously me and my husband couldn't even find 10 that's good. I see that each and every review posted here are all excellent, and that's why I decided to try this studio at the beginning but it's really a disappointment to me. My baby was less than one year old, maybe this studio just can't handle that age group well. No idea. Definitely don't recommend this place for baby with similar age, which is between 9-12 months. read more

My husband and I had a great experience at our family photo shoot. The studio is very spacious and beautifully appointed. You have lots of scenes and corners to explore and pose with baby. The studio is Korean run and they definitely have an Asian aesthetic. Check their website for a sense of their style. They have tons of cute outfits and clothes to choose from for your baby's photo shoot, which is lots of fun. We were referred by family friends and now refer the studio to our friends. Initially we had difficulty making an appointment because we do not speak Korean, but owner Joyce stepped in and we were able to book. I only mention this in case you, too, do not speak Korean and want to book. Just ask for Joyce if you have any difficulty and you will be well taken care of. More importantly, on the day of the shoot she was available to discuss photo packages and assist with anything we might need, including choosing baby outfits. They have lots of options for all budgets, which is another reason I recommend them. Joyce was very helpful in assisting us to choose the right package with no pressure The staff also made us feel welcome and we enjoyed some tea and coffee while there. They also have comfy couches and bathrooms to make you feel comfortable with baby. Finally, the turn around time on the photos is great. We had our digitial files delivered to us within days and will have our canvas frames, prints and everything else in our package shortly. 25 years ago, my two younger sisters photos were taken with Studio I. Fast forward and I had our engagement photos taken, wedding photos, and my son's Christmas photos. The owner and photographers are super great, have a keen eye for photographs and help you enjoy the time. This place is amazing. All of my friends did their baby photo session here, and they highly recommended this place - enough for me to bring my baby on my business trip from Chicago to NY. I have used other photo studios in Chicago multiple times, and now I feel like I can never go back there. Studio i really did a great job - not only did I love their cute outfits and scenes, but the whole process is what made the difference for me. When my baby got fussy because she was sleepy or hungry, they waited for me to nurse & baby to nap instead of rushing the session. They even had a private room for nursing! My session from beginning to end took good 4 - 5 hours (and they even made waffles for me and my mom so we don't stay hungry). I truly felt like a valued customer there. I wish I could find one like this in Chicago area, otherwise I'll have to fly back! Also, they were super quick in sending me digital proofs. We took our son to this studio for his 1st b-day pictures. Long story short, we are totally satisfied with the photos and services we experienced here. Highly recommend this studio to any moms who wants to make great memories!!! We drove 3 hrs from Rhode Island to the studio because the sample pictures on their website looked awesome. As soon as we got there, the photographers ran out to greet our baby and build relationship with him. Throughout the session the photographers knew how to interact with the babies, they seemed to really like babies and were patient throughout the whole session. We drove about an hour an a half to the studio for our son's first birthday. From start to finish, they were professional, encouraging, and helpful in getting the best photos of our son. My wife and I felt completely comfortable to let them handle our child. Additionally, the sets that they have built, the clothing that they have available, and the albums and canvases that are made on location, all help define the experience and professionalism expressed throughout the day. Quality experience from beginning to end. My wife and I did our wedding and maternity photo-shoots elsewhere at some lesser studios in manhattan c-town and in flushing and although those came out fine, it's not on the level of Studio i. We regret not finding Studio i sooner. We booked three photo-shoots for our first child and decided on newborn, 100-day and 1year shoots. Every visit was filled with amazing service and pampering. We were even served a light breakfast and coffee/tea on more than one occasion to help us battle morning fatigue. Immediately on arrival, you're hit with a strong sense of professionalism and the space is huge and well designed. They have a lot of different themes. backdrops and props. The clothing selections were decent. There's a good amount of clothing for boys, but there's an overwhelming amount of clothing for girls. I'm not complaining though. Do yourself a favor, don't deal with those quick walk-in studios for kids that exist in certain NY shopping-malls, don't bother with those c-town studios that don't care about your opinions and time and do most of their shoots in some dirty moldy basement-level area. I've already recommended Studio i to family and friends with kids. read more

Found out about this place via FB moms group and so glad we booked our son's (13 weeks old) photo shoot here! They have cute sets and tons of outfit selections! They were accommodating to both baby and parents. Our baby got hungry then tired after being fed so they suggested he take a nap and never let us feel rushed at any point. Over an hour later when our baby woke up, we continued with our session. They took care of us too with coffee and snacks while we waited for our son to wake up. After researching a number of studios, we decided to go with Studio I because of the style of baby pictures that they take. This studio has a number of back drops and themes that are adorable. The also have a great selection of outfits for babies and children to wear, so you don't have to worry about shopping for your own clothing. The photographers are great with children. Our baby was only 13 weeks old, and they went above and beyond to make our child smile and laugh, which was greatly appreciated. They also allowed him to feed and nap in the middle of the shoot. My wife and I had scheduled a photo shoot in celebration for our daughter's 100th day and we never could've imagined anything like this.... It was a hectic morning on the day of because we had to get all the outfits ready, get my son's haircut, go to church and get to the studio early enough to get ready. My wife and I were excited especially since we were also going to take a family portrait photo with our new baby. As soon as the shoot began, I had a bad taste in my mouth. The man taking the photographs (who I assumed to be the owner) started commenting on how "inexperienced" I was at holding my baby. "You must not hold the baby at home". "You don't need to hold the baby like that. They're not as fragile as you think". Excuse me? You're really going to tell me how to hold my own child and how are you assuming that I don't hold the baby at home? I will hold my baby however I please thank you very much and I hold her that way because she's more important than anything else in this world and I want to protect her. Is that so wrong of me as a father to want to protect his baby? That is by far the most inappropriate thing to say especially to a client that is paying you for your services. I wanted to snap back at him but I bit my tongue because my wife had been planning this for weeks and I did not want to ruin it. We took some photos and he wanted to have a solo shoot for my daughter. He and his assistant brought a chair and stood her up so that you can only see her face above the back of the chair. I did not have a good feeling about it but hey, they're "supposed" to be professionals, they do this all the time. As soon as this thought finished crossing my mind, that's when it happened....the assistant that was supporting my baby was only holding onto her legs and did not see my baby's head starting to drop back. By the time I screamed out, it was too late. My baby's head and body had completely bent over backwards. I rushed over and caught her just before she crashed to the floor. Her face was frozen and as soon as she saw my face, she started crying her eyes out. I had never seen her cry like this in all of the 3 months since she was born. She doesn't even cry when she's hungry. All I ever hear from her is a whimper and that's it. I was shocked and furious at the same time. All I wanted to do was hold her tightly in my arms and let her know that everything was going to be okay. My wife was busy with my son during all this and rushed over as soon as she heard the baby crying. She asked what happened and I told her exactly what happened. While I was explaining what had happened, the photographer comes over and says "she seems like she's okay. no need to worry." WHAT?!?! Are you kidding me right now? Did you just not see her head and body bend backwards? That's not normal for a 3 month old baby who doesn't have the neck strength to support her own head and you're telling me not to worry? What kind of person are you? Are you even a human being? At this point, I'm ready to strangle him. My wife sees my face turning red and intervenes. "Please give us a minute" she says to the photographer. They leave the set and I'm just trying to calm my baby down while taking deep breaths to calm myself before I do something that I will regret. My wife asks what I want to do and I tell her I want to leave RIGHT NOW. We start getting our stuff ready to leave and as we walk out of the set, the owner comes over and asks why we are leaving. That's when I lost it. I exploded on him, screaming and yelling at him how he could be so unprofessional. You don't even wait for my baby to stop crying to ask when we can start shooting again. Do you think taking photos is important to me right now? He then has the nerve to tell me that I am overreacting. My baby almost fell off a chair and I'm overreacting?. Really? "I've taken photos for hundreds of babies and sometimes they get hurt but you're baby is fine. Oh, sometimes babies get hurt while you take their photos? That would've been good to know before we came here and I like how you say that like you're so proud of babies getting hurt. Maybe, just maybe, if you trained your employees properly and you yourself were more careful, this could've been prevented but you don't care about the babies or anyone else. All you care about is getting the photo done quickly so that you can move onto the next shoot without any regard to see if we were okay. This is the first time I've left a review on anything. If I receive bad service I just say I'm not coming back again and just forget about it. But this.. I just can't stay silent. I don't want any parent to experience what we had to go through. I would never wish this on anybody and I hope it never does. ***Stay away from this place. They do NOT care about you or your family. I went here for my son's 100 days and 1 year photoshoot. For recent visit, my husband and I were a little hesitant about going to the studios for pictures because of Covid-19, we weren't sure if it's good idea to take the baby during this pandemic but after hearing that this studio is taking only one appointment at a time, we took the baby. There were two photographers throughout the session and the boss was working super hard to take my baby's attention during the photoshoot. This is our second time visiting, they've been always super nice to us. What I liked the most was that they constantly used the hand sanitizers and kept their masks on the whole time we were there. They also sprayed disinfectant right after we were done with our session (saw them getting ready for the next appointment). I received the digital photos literally a day after our visit. We loved all the photos we received. I have my last session left, definitely looking forward to visit again! Studio is super big and clean, I just love here! read more
