It can be really difficult to take photos with a young child but they really tried their best to entertain and make my baby smile. My husband and I enjoyed our photoshoot and truly had a fun time. Our Christmas Mini Session with Little Pumpkin Studio exceeded all our expectations. Walking in with a 2 year old toddler and a newborn, we were just hoping for one good photo for our holiday card but instead, we received an entire album of the most beautiful photos. Edit - Must have us confused with another family because I did not mention anything nor email you about liking the pictures. Unfortunately, our family didn't have the best experience. The assistant took our photos and our baby just wasn't cooperating, no matter how much we tried to soothe her. While the staff member did make an effort, it felt like she eventually gave up then rushed through the rest of the session. We weren't expecting perfect photos, but the ones we received were underwhelming -- seemed like the same shots from slightly different angles. We understand that sessions are timed, but when working with newborns or babies, there should really be some flexibility or a grace period. After all, babies are unpredictable. It's disappointing, because I truly wanted to like this place and return for future photo shoots. Sadly, this experience didn't leave us feeling confident about coming back. read more

They have a nice photo package that includes maternity, new born (two week old), 100 days, and 1 year. They took many photos, and even when baby was crying for the 1 year (fussy because nap was cut short in the car), they still found some smiling photos! And they kept a really nice cry-baby photo as well! Backgrounds and props are good, and they are flexible. We brought in a giant Kirby, and they helped us put our baby inside to get some hilarious photos as well. read more

Loved the set & clothing options they had and also appreciated that the set design does not stay the same every season (so we don't have the same backgrounds as our friends' babies). I was shopping around for places to do family pictures with my daughters for when my youngest turned 1. I instantly loved their page and did some research on how far to book in advance etc. The booking process was so easy and they provided easy instructions on what to expect for the shoot. The day of the shoot came and it was quick and not as stressful as I imagined it to be. They engaged with both of my daughters and kept them interested as best as possible. When browsing for my daughter's first birthday, I loved the different set backgrounds and overall tone/mood of the photos. 1st birthday - we did 3 backgrounds and LPS was amazing at getting our daughter to smile, try different poses and play naturally. They also provided accessories and an outfit change. We loved how all the photos came out. Maternity shoot - also 3 backgrounds and they made me feel beautiful at 33 weeks! I appreciated being able to bring my 2.5 year along for some photos together. LPS always checked in to ensure I was comfortable in the different positions. Had the best experience with this boutique-y little studio for my daughter's 1 year old (dohl) celebratory photo shoot! We always want a photographer that's unique, professional but with a casual edge that's not too uptight and this perfectly fit the bill. We were a little late because we chose the wrong day (NY marathon) and was having a hard time getting out of our area to get there but they did their best to accommodate for us and we were still able to get amazing pictures. My daughter came out so lovely and we have photos to cherish for years to come. Also want to note that this is a Korean studio so you get the korean trendy vibe you won't get else where. Also they provide all the outfits from dresses to different hair pieces and the best part, the traditional hanbok dress for the toddlers. We of course brought our own pieces too but certain things like dressy dresses and hanbok wasn't something we were looking to buy just for a day shoot! So it was perfect. Also, it was great that they kept on offering different hair pieces and bonnets and such so we got a good variety of styles for her different outfits. It's a sweet, cute little studio and my friends were immediately setting up appts as soon as i posted them on instagram. What a wonderful experience from the start to finish! Christine was very responsive in our email correspondence, accommodating last minute scheduling for my daughter's 100 days photoshoot. She was flexible and kind! Coming from Connecticut, we arrived there thirty minutes early, and they allowed us to wait inside. The space was a bright and cozy, and the assistant was very sweet (Unfortunately I forgot her name). The photographer was also amazing. I was impressed by the nice photos he was able to take with our two daughters (3-month and 2.5year old). They really put in a lot of effort to give us good photos. Christine helped coordinate our outfits, and even nicely set my older daughter's hair. I went with the most basic package, Package A but the service I received was elite! Despite the 4 week turnaround time, they were able to deliver the finished photos in less than 3 weeks! I can tell they are really invested in giving their clients the best experience! We came all the way from Florida to take a DOL Janchi picture which is a celebration we do when the baby turns one in Korea. We had the chance to take pictures in three different backgrounds and outfits. We brought our outfits for the baby but they recommended the outfits they had (which were outstandingly cute!!). My baby is very shy and timid. For the first couple of minutes, he wasn't smiling and doing his part for the photoshoot. Once the ladies from the Little Pumpkin realized that we needed a bigger smile, they brought toys and bubbles to entertain! I was looking for a place for a newborn photo shoot and am so happy to have found Little Pumpkin. Booking and coordinating the shoot was very easy. I initially reached out on Instagram and got a reply the same day. Since my baby wasn't born yet, we had scheduled a tentative date and was able to reschedule the date if he had arrived earlier or later so they were super accommodating. On the day of the shoot, we were shown the backdrops for the shoot and was able to choose the outfits provided. As first time parents, Christine and team made us feel very comfortable the whole time. Afraid that our boy would be fussy and uncooperative as newborns are, Christine and her assistant were baby whisperers as they kept him in a slumber while posing him in the most adorable poses (mind you, this was even as we were approaching his feeding time). Took our daughter here for her photo shoot. She has stranger anxiety and unfortunately cried throughout the whole photo session. However the staff here were great and very patient. And they really tried their best to distract her and stop her from crying. I was so scared that the photos were going to turn out horrible but thankfully they came out way better than I expected. We got a few shots of her without tears rolling down her cheeks. And even the ones with her crying came out to be really really cute.
