Natasha is the kind of person who puts the mind at ease - she doesn't add to the stress of a wedding, but instead actually diffused it for me. Her bubbly and genuinely caring personality is a rare find, if you asked me. Couple that with the quality of Natasha's photos and I would say she'd go unmatched in the industry. During our engagement photo shoot (which Natasha does to get a couple comfortable with being photographed by her in advance of the wedding), there were so many laughs which made for heartwarming shots, and there were also photographs which only someone with vision could capture. Natasha turned a small pond into what appeared to be a great lake with the angles and lenses that she used. She also wasn't afraid to do anything to get the perfect shot. We were out at Jamaica Bay in a swampy area and a giant centipede nearly crawled up Natasha's face. There were some screams and giggles, but Natasha carried on doing what she loves. Natasha and I met in advance right before our wedding to discuss all the details and review a questionnaire she distributes to all her clients so they can indicate what's important, what family sensitivities might exist, etc. She really goes the extra mile and it totally shows once you receive the final product! For our Hindu wedding, every single detail was captured in the most natural element, every step in the rituals so poetically documented through Natasha's photos - including my tearful eyes. For our reception, the photos were romantic but also so much fun and spontaneous-looking! Natasha stayed even as most of the guests had left - ensuring that she captured the most hilarious and action-packed shots on the dance floor. I cannot thank Natasha enough for being our wedding photographer and for her continued friendship even after our big week had come to a close. Going into wedding planning, we thought a "day-of coordinator" meant someone who would step in on the actual wedding day and help things run smoothly. What we experienced with Sydney was something completely different, and so much more meaningful. From the moment we hired her about a month before our wedding, she stepped in with such care, intention, and control over every moving part. It felt like she quietly took the weight of the entire wedding off our shoulders without ever making us feel out of the loop. That last month before the wedding can be overwhelming in a way that's hard to explain unless you've been through it, and Sydney gave us something we didn't even realize we needed so badly, which was peace. Real peace. She created space for us to actually breathe, to be present, and to enjoy being engaged instead of constantly feeling stressed or behind. Her professionalism is on another level. The way she communicates, organizes, anticipates problems before they even exist, and handles every detail with intention is something I'm still in awe of. There was never a moment where I felt unsure or anxious once she was involved. I trusted her completely, and that trust is something every bride hopes for but doesn't always get. On the wedding day itself, I don't even know how to explain what she accomplished. We had 250 guests, no printed schedules or programs, and somehow everything flowed so seamlessly that not a single person was confused about what was happening or where they needed to be. That alone feels impossible, and yet she made it look effortless. Every transition, every moment, every detail was handled so smoothly that my husband and I were genuinely shocked. We kept looking at each other like, "How is one person doing all of this?!" She also went so far beyond what anyone would expect from a coordinator. She stepped in to help both of our moms with their dresses, helped with my dress bustle, ran around tending to our whole bridal party and was just there for anything and everything we needed, even when she absolutely didn't have to be. In those moments, she didn't feel like just a coordinator, she felt like a big sister. Someone who genuinely cared about us and wanted our wedding experience to be perfect. What stood out the most is that she didn't just "do her job." She cared. You can feel when someone is just executing tasks versus when they are fully invested in making your day perfect, and Sydney was completely, wholeheartedly invested. She protected our experience, our time, and our energy in a way that we will never forget. We haven't worked with other coordinators, but I can say this with complete confidence. Sydney is exceptional at what she does. She's the kind of person who sets the standard so high that it's hard to imagine anyone else comparing. However we took multiple shots and after processing, people looked ridiculous. I understand that I'm not photogenic but they literally photoshopped my face differently in each picture. Not exaggerating I look like a new species of alien in 10-15 pictures of the entire set. The rest of my family looks fine so I doubt they care much but these photos were entirely unusable. I would rather look ugly but human instead of like I'm in a rotating sideshow mirror from a traveling circus. I don't understand how someone looked at my face and decided "anything but the original is better" every time they looked at a new photo but didn't keep the photoshop (which took months) consistent. I have since used my own warped face as memes and my own sticker set. It's comical. They insisted they would do a good job of inserting the people who were absent into the photos. Everyone has different shapes and sizes. Hire someone with actual experience. I feel like they should give us a refund with interest. Then again, the pictures are hilarious so maybe I'm paying for entertainment and not actual photos.

After our first meeting with him in person, we were confident in Kevin's ability to match with our personality and he understood what we were looking for right away. A few months ahead of the wedding, I secretly worked with him to coordinate a surprise/prank first look for the groom with the help of our groomsman. The preview photos blew our expectations out of the water, and I am SO stoked to receive the full day's worth of his documentation of our wedding day. Kevin also provided us with a photobooth package, and his assistant operated the booth while he photographed the reception. His assistant made sure to obtain a copy of all the photos our guests took at their booth and put them into a guestbook for us to keep! She worked hard throughout the night and even decorated our book for us, with our wedding colours! The booth itself came with hilarious props to use, and the guests had a fantastic time with it.
