I can not even begin to discuss the disappointment with this company and no one should feel disappointed on their wedding day. The photos I received from my wedding were terrible. Amanda was my photographer. The assistant photographer did a better job than my main photographer. The photos looked like an absolute mess. The getting ready photos that we're taken in my house, we're not set up by the photographer at all. She was just snapping photos from every angle with dresses, bags in the back, my bridesmaids in the back doing their own make up, all the bridal robes all over the place. When I brought this to their attention they used Covid as an excuse that they are unable to move things out of the photo and lack of space in houses (Funny - because my house has a ton of space). The whole point of having a photographer is to set up the scene if they didn't think the photo looked nice then she should've moved me to a different angle with nothing in the background. They also used the excuse that these were all candid shots. A candid shot is still set up nicely. I will The photographer put no creativity and energy into taking the photos, it was as if she just snapped a random 2000 photos and hoped for the best. When the photographer walked in, one thing I was specific about was where to take my detailed shots. I showed her the location of where I wanted them and trusted her that they would be done this way. She instead took it upon herself to use a different scene with my kitchen and microwave in the background of the photos. She was too busy in my house taking pictures of random things, like a half eaten tray of fruit, a tray of bagels that was already cut into, magnets on my fridge, and picture frames in my house instead of focusing on me and setting up the scene to make the photos look nice. Some of the most important moments such as the first look with my father, walking down the aisle with my father were messed up and blurry. These are photos that I would never be able to retake. I was actually concerned and wanted to bring it to the attention of Silver Fox and had a nasty response from Danielle, basically blaming everything on candid shots and Covid. I was then redirected to the manager and explained everything to him. I also mentioned why we didn't take more photos outside and his response was the photographer said it was cold out. My wedding was in March, obviously it was cold but I was the one in the dress and I was not complaining. He acknowledged that my photographer did remember me specifically telling her where to take the detailed shots and instead did it in a different place with the kitchen as a backdrop anyway. I was told that since I am feeling this way he could edit 20 photos for me. After spending almost $6000, being extremely disappointed and embarrassed to show people my wedding photos, I do not think that editing 20 photos would correct how I felt. It was the way the photographer did the job. Apparently after several emails, the photos are up to Silver Fox studios standards. That says a lot and anyone that is reading this review should know that apparently they have very low standards. I got better pictures from my friends iPhones the following day. read more

Was so impressed when we first met with Silverfox. All of our meetings went well, communication was good and overall we had no complaints. Fast forward to when we got our wedding pictures back and everything went downhill. Prior to our final meeting we were given a "shot list" that included pictures that are taken and we were given the opportunity to add anything else. Well, we kept it as is with the exception of a picture or two. The main photographer assigned to me (the bride) is highly recommended but honestly, I would think 1000 times before recommending her. She dropped the ball on so many pictures. Failed to capture A LOT of the typical pictures; not to mention they were on Silverfox's shot list. I asked for a picture with my MOH/sister and was told we would take them later..I mean, excuse you but we're taking this picture now. Then we were taking family pictures and she felt the need to single out a very close relative - making her feel bad. Again, they are my pictures and if I'm not kicking anyone out of my pictures, why are you?! Our videographer was no better. Our second photographer was honestly the better of the group so kudos to her. When I took my concerns to the Silverfox team, specifically the General Manager. Although he tried to work with us, we were still very underwhelmed. He agreed that a lot of coverage was missed and although he recreated some important pictures, I'll always know they were recreated. He "comped" our thank you cards; however, we received the first set and they were truly unacceptable. They were stained and the corners appeared burnt. Once I sent him pictures of them, he agreed that they were horrible and agreed to create another batch. Well I went to pick them up this time and to no surprise, they were still unacceptable and I'm truly embarrassed and refuse to send them out. I reached out via email and phone and didn't hear back. I asked for the contact information for the owner and once again, the GM put me on the back burner. Of course they were paid and are happy; however, we were not happy with the service they provided. The team at Silverfox should be held accountable especially when they provide a shot list and lack in producing the pictures and for the unacceptable thank you cards they produce. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. I could go on and on about our experience with them. read more

I was married 10/01/2022 and I used Silverfox as my photographer and I would give them -10000/10. I had Amanda as my main and Harley as my second. My photos are absolute garbage. I hired both for 12 hours each because photos were so important to me I didn't want anything missed. From square one both Amanda and Harley were not only unprofessional, they lacked the knowledge and skills to be professional wedding photographers. Harley started drinking WITH the groomsmen the minute he arrived and didnt stop. He took very inappropriate pictures of the groomsmen in various stages of dress/undress. Amanda arrived with no idea of what to do and followed the videographer (from another company) around, until he asked me to tell her to stop. She refused to take outdoor pictures claiming the ground was wet, but said it was too dark inside. It rained the morning of my wedding day and when she arrived I told her it wasn't an issue, it Stopped and we were taking pictures outside, I didn't care if my dress got wet or dirty. We had enough clear umbrellas for the bridal party and even her! She's didn't care or listen. She walked around the house taking random pictures of nothing. We were guaranteed a certain number of pictures based on the hours paid and more than half ended up being BS, useless pictures. (ie. half eaten bagel, unmade bed, the dog in a corner?). I have no photos of me alone getting ready, none in my dress, not one of me and my mom, none of any guest at my wedding, barely photos of my husband and I ect. At my final meeting with silver fox I provided them a shot list and a time line to follow. Neither of them were followed. I'm missing more than half of those photos on my shot list AND their shot list. Amanda was rushing to take photos all day, because she didn't follow my time line she rushed us to the venue an hour before I was allowed there, because of that there was no where to take photos because there was another wedding. So my bridal party and I sat on the bus for an hour not taking pictures (and I was paying for that time). During this time our photographers were nowhere to be found. Although my husband and I knew we had a problem with them, we didn't know how bad until the pictures came back!! Amanda took 0 photos at cocktail hour and harley's photos are horrible quality. instead I have a photo of amanda eating during my cocktail hour which is why I could never find them! (Mind you they were missing for an hour AND I had paid for both of them to have a meal during our reception, very unprofessional.) The appropriate pictures were blurry, out of color, too dark or too light. Terrible quality: bridal party pictures had people cut off the ends, because they weren't centered. I was so shocked by the pictures and their blatant disregard for the contract, that I thought Silverfox would clearly refund our money. But they have proven to be the most a horrible company. They have been fighting us all the way. When I got my sneak peak back I was horrified and contacted them immediately! Danielle called me right away because I had already been in contact with her over my concerns, she agreed my sneak peak looked bad so they re-edited them, which were better but still not great. They had told me these weren't the best photos so i had some hope that the rest would be ok...I should have known better. When I picked my photos up I asked Danielle in person about setting up a meeting with the owner, to which she said I had to wait to go through my photos. We eventually had a meeting without the owner and I was told it's my fault I don't like the photos. I ended up suing them because clearly I was getting nothing from them. Their lawyer wanted me to sign a non disclosure agreement, to which I refused. I've spoke to many other brides and Turns out Silverfox promised several brides they would refund some money if they signed ndas and took their reviews down, thus leaving only good ones. I had my day in court where I showed the judge all my photos and I received my judgment back saying I WON, I think that speaks for itself. read more

Silverfox is a great vendor to work with and is so communicative from beginning to end. My fiance's parents are big on videography, so we knew we needed a great vendor for this. Lenny was so nice and cool to work with. We barely noticed he was there until he would randomly pop out and ask us to do something a few times! Brian was also cool! The only snafu was when Brian arrived late to the boys' getting ready location. It wasn't really his fault (see above). Thankfully, my husband brought his day-of gift to the first look photos, so Lenny was able to get footage of him opening his gift at the venue. Brian apologized for the mix-up profusely and got the drone footage we wanted. Lenny also apologized and stayed at the reception a little later to make up for it. Danielle, in the office contacted us shortly after the wedding to find out what had happened to make sure we were okay, so we were very happy with them and can't wait to see our video in a couple of weeks! read more

My sister and brother in law just got married this past weekend - because we're from two different ethnic backgrounds our families decided to have two weddings, one for each respective culture. We used Silverfox as they were a recommended vendor from our reception venue, and we could not have been any more pleased!! My sister and brother in law was working with Lauren who was an absolute delight to work with!!! She was so flexible, easygoing and very understanding of what they wanted and what kind of photos which we needed. Lauren was such a gem to work with, she was a rockstar for both wedding ceremonies and I cannot thank her enough for being around for my sister and brother in laws big days! Absolutely worth using them if you're looking for a premier photo company for your big day in the Long Island area!! Also- when it came time to the reception, our DJ/MC Steve was amazing!! My sister and brother in law worked with them very closely to determine which kind of music would be best for the reception, they had a good understanding of what we would like and enjoy and they delivered big time. From the classic 90's hip hop to the streets of Bollywood, Steve and his team had the dance floor ripping all night long!! I used Silverfox for photography for my June 2015 wedding. Sadly this was the only vendor from my wedding I wouldn't recommend. Silverfox were terrible to work with and my pictures are just "ok". Their office wowed me with all the amazing pictures and I just didn't get those "wow" shots. Definitely look at the different photographers. I just picked the one who signed us up, Courtney. She was very nice, but she just didn't provide us the shots I wanted. None of the pictures of "getting ready" were usable. She didn't give me any direction, and I'm not a model, so in every picture, me or my bridesmaids or moms are making weird faces b/c she was just snapping. I should've changed photographers after I wasn't impressed with our engagement pictures, but I thought that would be mean. I wish I would've gone with my gut. Other issues-- we used them for our save the dates and the ideas their creative director had looked like I could've just used Microsoft word for. They had basically word art-- UGLY. I had to ask for something new and basically send ideas from a website to show him what save the dates, done by a professional, SHOULD look like. Working through our albums took 2 years, mostly because he couldn't follow my clear directions. At times it was so painful that he couldn't understand "move picture from bottom left to top right". Going through the revisions just got stranger. There were photos that were duplicated and somehow he decided to put a picture of my dad with the groomsmen whereas a picture of the best man went with my husband's father? It was SO odd. Just don't bother. My least favorite vendor. Others I'm friends with that used them thought the same thing. read more

Disclaimer: We worked with Silverfox for only our entertainment (DJ and emcee). Deciding to book Silverfox for our wedding was a near no-brainer, especially when my then-fiancé and I could discern a clear difference in quality between Steve Santiago, the owner, and the other entertainment vendors we met. In every single meeting, Steve was clear, detail-oriented, and best of all, extremely passionate about what he does. During our first meeting, he, of all the vendors we met, was the one who most closely listened to our vision for our reception and articulated what he could do to make that dream a reality with his crew (instead of trying to change our minds, as a few other groups were wont to do). Steve's energy and enthusiasm is apparent, and he's highly sought after as an event emcee. Unfortunately, he was already booked for our wedding day but he hooked us up with Chris, our emcee, who was everything we could have asked for and more. He patiently stayed with us on the phone for hours before the wedding, going over the minutiae of the reception, and it was clear that he was genuinely excited about his work. On the wedding day, both he and the DJ kept our large group of 250+ guests (ranging from age 3 to 83, and including a LOT of folks who would usually be disinclined to dance) laughing, moving, and grooving on the dance floor all night long. So many amazing things to say about this company- we had silverfox for photo and video for our wedding on 11/29/2019. Our photographer was Lauren and she was absolutely AMAZING to work with. We first worked with her on our engagement photos as part of our package and she took STUNNING photos of me and my now husband :) So professional and was able to help us capture every photo we wanted of our wedding day! Roy was our videographer and was also amazing to work with! We had not met Roy prior to our wedding day but he was so professional, kind and really made sure he got everything we needed for our video. it took me awhile to decide to write this review. our engagement shoot was perfect but once it came to the day of the wedding the results we recieved were terrible...so many blurry, out of focus pictures. too many. awkward poses, my newly husband was posed NOT to put his hands/arms around me. so many missed shots. barely any photos of us looking at the camera. overly exposed pictures. poorly edited. our photographer decided not to do family pictures in front of the church because it was "cheesy". no pictures in front of our venue. first dance pictures looked like someone took them with a cellphone. missed the begining of our entrance on video and camera. i met with the manager he offered to edit TWENTY of our favorite photos..we couldnt even pick that many..they were worse than the originals. they refused to give any sort of refund because in THEIR opinion (which mattered more than OURS) there was nothing wrong with our images. they offered a reshoot but in order to do a reshoot you need to spend more money to get dressed up again. we asked for ATLEAST our deposit back and they refused. i gave up. i shouldve gotten the court involved but i didnt. this guy was sarcastic and rude when i expressed how i felt about our wedding photos. this company doesn't care that its your big day. do yourselves a favor and stay away. after a year later im still so distraught over my pictures. i cant get over it and neither will you if you decide to go with this company read more

Just got married on 7-4-21. Our photographers were Carmen and Alexander. Both of them were fabulous. Carmen was so sweet and personable. She was flexible when we last minute had our dogs come for photos (the weather was not supposed to be good), and even talked about her own dog. She took both goofy candids, and posed photos. She made sure I got all of the shots that I wanted and checked in with us frequently throughout the night to make sure. She is a perfectionist and kept checking her camera to make sure that she got good shots with good lighting and angles. Alexander, was not originally supposed to be our photographer, however I am so glad Silverfox made the switch. I'm sure our original photographer would have been amazing as well, but Alexander was like a ninja! Hiding in bushes and trees to get shots. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because Silverfox is amazing. From our first meeting with John, to our wedding day. Now we just wait anxiously for our photos! We also used Silverfox for entertainment. Steve was so easy to work with and extremely communicative throughout the process. Although he wasn't the one at our wedding, the team we had was amazing. They played a mix of our music, and kept the party going all night. They were also very flexible as the night went on. Underwhelmed with our wedding photography. When we were booking with them the quality of the photographs looked amazing. We told them the style we were looking for and i feel they fell short. The photographer missed a lot of our photos that were on the pre-determined list i submitted weeks prior. Don't get me wrong we're not terribly unhappy with our photos we just feel for the amount of money we paid we could have taken the same pictures ourselves on our canon camera. Not to mention they don't photoshop any of the pictures aside from the ones they send as a sneak peek when we signed they told us differently. Looking back on our most important day we would have chose someone different. I will note that the videography was great. We should have just went with the video and gone elsewhere for photos. Silverfox shot my wedding over 5 years ago and I still couldn't resist writing a comment about them. John was so amazing to me and was beyond patient in letting me take my time picking out the shots I wanted for my album. He truly made everything that might not have gone as planned that day disappear and gave me the album of my dreams! We recently needed some photos taken for a business venture and Silverfox was the first place we thought of. They were prompt and courteous. They came and took some very flattering shots that we will be proud to display. My husband and I had a contract with silverfox for music/entertainment and photography. They were both recommended to us from a friend who used them for hrr own wedding and we are so happy to have chosen them for our wedding because they provided outstanding service. Steve was excellent with the DJ services and we really were so excited when he said he would be able to DJ our wedding reception himself. Our photos came out perfect and captured the memories and emotions of that day that went way too fast, so when we look back on them, we can remember the day exactly as it was. Unfortunately I have little to no positive reviews for silverfox photo and video. This is heart breaking because while wedding planning I did much research for who we would choose, and at my initial meeting I felt they would deliver, I was wrong. As for photos, my photographer Courtney gave little to no direction. I provided an extensive list of "must have" photos, which was sent to the company as per request, but was not even followed the day of. I paid to have them take photos prior to church, however they spent an extensive amount of time "setting up" which resulted in my before pictures cut terribly short, Not to mention the attitude and unprofessionalism received by this particular photographer. We paid to have an edited video, however the first maybe 5 minutes are edited with music thrown on, with raw footage thrown in and a random ending. The videography was just plain terrible. No updated anything. Footage is random and blurry at times. Our photojournalist who shot my husband before church was the only positive from this experience as she actually did a great job and should have been with us the entire day. read more

Do NOT recommend! This company does not care about having a happy customer. I am so frustrated and disappointed with all aspects of this company. Not worth a penny as photos lack any creativity and professionalism. The morning of my wedding day I was informed that a replacement photographer, Miguel, would be coming as the original had COVID. No problem with a replacement except for it appeared he never held a camera before. There was zero direction given! My family and bridal party had to come up with poses themselves. The photographer is supposed to make everyone feel comfortable, but he made everyone feel uncomfortable! There are photos where my husband and bridal party legit look confused and not everyone's faces of the bridal party are seen in many of them. Miguel did not know how to use angles or light. There are photos which include flash over faces (even editing did not fix), getting ready photos include a giant bed, diaper bags, etc. in the shot, bridal party and family photos were taken in a dull setting and were uneven (did not direct family to stand evenly together, a lot of awkward gaps, did not leverage beautiful spaces of venue for backgrounds.) Miguel put ZERO creativity or energy in the day! While not every photo on the shot list is guaranteed, many were missed. Missing family photos, minimal guest photos, and almost zero photos of cocktail hour/memorial stations/décor...except for an empty tray of food as he remembered to snap a photo last minute. Cristian, the manager, was not apologetic. He denied any sort of a refund and offered 'credit' - why would I want to spend money on photos I am unhappy with? I understand this is an art, but there is a difference between creative freedom (which there was none) and professional quality. I created my own wedding album and thank you cards from photos that guests sent me from their iphones, which goes to show how unprofessional my photos were. Editing could not fix the lack of creativity, direction, and professionalism of my photos. I am SO unhappy. This is a day I cannot get back. I still got an album as it was part of my package, which came back with an awful orange-yellow filter. You do get to review proofs before the album goes to print, but my album did not match what I approved. Cristian was again not apologetic and suggested I send back the album for his review. After almost a year of back and forth, I am drained from the frustration and constant disappointment. I was also denied twice to be put in contact with the owner to come to a better resolution and avoid posting this review. Was there a handful of usable photos? Sure, which the company will probably share as a response like they did on another bad posted review. However, those handful of images does not equate to the money spent, majority of missed and unprofessional photos, and frustration and disappointment I received. I normally never write reviews but I feel I owe it to other brides out there to expose the truth. This company is the absolute worst! I had nothing but problems with them from day one. They only edit the photos that go into your album. Wait till you get all your photos back and they ask you to select them from hundreds of numbers, which takes hours, only for them to say the numbers on the photos they have didn't match the numbers I had and we had to do it all over again. Well I had a baby and I have no time to redo it so here I am two years later without a album! Oh and are you interested parent albums?? Let me disappoint you there, they will be a exact replica of yours. Why would my parents want half a album of me and my husband kissing? My parents want the photos with me and their side of the family. Well... too bad according to silverfox . So if your not willing to put 3 pictures of grandma and grandpa in your own main album they won't be in the parent albums. My photographer we chose was switched last minute because she was asked to be in her friends wedding, which was the same day as mine 3 months prior to my wedding day. Well I'm sorry but if you work in the wedding industry and it's peak wedding season don't you think you should know ahead of time if you need off to be in someone else's wedding. We had to fight to get her back. Christian (assistant manager)was very rude and basically told me to deal with it and these things happen. Well it shouldn't for what they charge. The owner called me after I requested it 10 times by Christan to basically say they did this behind his back and the photographer would be there if she wanted to keep her job. Steve is the nicest person u will ever meet and takes he's business and he's mc responsibilities to a height that can't be measured! Finally getting around to my review. All in all, they were okay. I like the company and the work that they've done but I just don't think I was a good match with my particular photographer. I got married on the east end at a vineyard and my husband and I saw each other before the ceremony. That part was great. But then we only had about 2-3 hours to take photos and get the the venue. We did a bunch at a local farm. But it seemed like he took forever and missed many of the must-haves that I mentioned to him. Also, it seemed like he totally forgot that we are the bride and groom and we don't want to miss the ceremony. I had to keep reminding him. When we finally got to the vineyard, guests where there so we went straight to the bridal room. He wanted to continue to take pictures where the guest were coming in. Regardless of how many times I told him that I didn't want my guests to see me, he wouldn't stop asking. And learned in that moment to put my foot down with him. Looking back at the photos. We're missing a lot that we wanted with family. I would have taken less with the bridal party to be honest. But that was what he kept insisting. And that's how it turned out. Working with Steven Santiago (the owner and our MC) felt a lot like working with family. From the first phone call he was easy-going, he understood what I was asking for and he and his team were always over-the-top flexible. Most DJs I spoke to didn't want to work with me because I wanted to be VERY SPECIFIC about which songs played at my wedding. I emailed four DJs in the same day: one got back to me but insisted we visit his shop and didn't want me to choose all the music for my wedding, one sent back an automated reply email suggesting I see their website for answers (what?! where did they think we got the email in the first place?) and one guy even called me and tried to convince me NOT to use him! When Steven called me and I told him I had already made a playlist for almost the entire wedding, he said 'No problem! I like a bride who has so much attention to detail.' My (now) husband and I went to visit Steven at his office and negotiated an extremely fair contract for DJ, MC, and Lighting and wound up hanging out with him for hours. We knew from the start that we were in good hands and we loved how comfortable he made us feel. When I had a question for Steven, he would even answer his phone late at night and was more than accommodating to my husband, who is a sound-guy and had a bunch of his own technical additions to the set-up. Our wedding day was behind schedule by an hour because we got held up before the church, but somehow Steven was able to fit in everything we were expecting without missing a beat! I can't say enough good things about Silverfox. They were recommended to us at the Westbury Manor and exceeded our expectations. We used them for photography, videography, and entertainment. John met with us prior to discuss options for photography. The rates were reasonable, and the quality of pictures we got was exceptional. Of everyone we met with, he was the only person who asked us what "look" we were going for. We described what we hoped to see, and he immediately knew which photographer to assign us. He showed us samples of her work, and sure enough it was exactly what we wanted. On to the music...We met with Steve, and expressed our concerns over getting the right kind of DJ/MC (not too loud, in your face etc). We liked his personality so much that we asked him if he would be our MC, and he did. He greeted us the day of our wedding with such a BIG smile and made us feel welcome and ready to party. We had a daytime wedding, and we were a little concerned that people wouldn't dance. We opted to include a percussionist to liven up the room, and it was amazing. The percussionist let our guests play the drums too. It was very interactive and people were talking about it for a long time after our wedding. Our guests were dancing the ENTIRE time. Our videographer was Rob, who now runs the Howard Beach office. One of my concerns about videographers/photographers was that I didn't want to miss any of our day for pictures. Rob was so much in the background, I barely noticed him, but his camera was on us all the time. The footage we got was exceptional, and we actually look ourselves because we weren't trying to pose for the camera. Both the videographer and photographer knew the right times to sneak us out for pictures without us missing our own party. Our pictures were ready about 8 weeks after our wedding. We loved them all. I can't express enough just how pleased we were with Silverfox. I'm so thankful they were able to be part of our special day, and it wouldn't have been the same without them. I had used Silver Fox for my wedding in February, I used their Videography services, and their photo booth. I had dealt with the Owner, John from the start. One of the best parts about dealing with Silver Fox was the ease of communicating - despite using their services I never physically set foot in their offices. Their work speaks for itself, and they offer well detailed packages for whatever your needs are. I also was able to exchange over 50 emails with John, and call in on a few occasions to confirm some details. Whatever Silver Fox promised me, they delivered on. My photo booth was stocked before my cocktail hour began, the videographer was timely, and a pleasure to deal with. The day of the wedding, I could not have asked for better services. The videographer gave me a heads up when my allotted time was coming to a close, and reminded me that he was available if I wanted him to stay after. I received a full scrap book from the photo booth, unedited video, edited video, and a cinematic trailer. Silver Fox worked with me throughout the editing process, and they allow customers to have as much or as little input towards the final product as they want. You can choose music tracks for the trailer/movie, and even describe exactly how you want the final product. In terms of price, reliability, ease of communication, and trust, I would 100% recommend Silver Fox, without hesitation. John is a stand up businessman, and earned my respect by being a man of his word, his business acumen, and by standing by his product and working with me through all facets of my contract. I got married on January 3, 2014, and I contracted Silverfox to do the photography. I had one photographer, Steve, for 10 hours. We ended up with over 1200 photos, and they are stunning!! That was with the lowest-priced package available, and includes formal shots, candids, my husband getting ready, and me getting ready. Silverfox Photography is a fantastic company, and I am so happy with how my wedding pictures turned out. I would highly recommend them for anyone's wedding. I knew that what mattered most to me of all the wedding planning was my photography company. I was looking for three things: I wanted high quality shots, unrestricted rights to digital files, and for the price to be as affordable as possible (but I was more willing to put money into the photography than anything else). My now husband and I had spent months trying to find the perfect photographer. Not only is photography a special hobby of mine, but my father-in-law is also a professional photographer, and although he does not do weddings, he does know all about composition and lighting, and he knows a good photograph when he sees one. My husband and I knew that we had to have a great photography company. Also, we were getting married in winter. At night. It takes special skill to work with low lighting and still take great pictures, particularly action shots. We especially looked for a photographer who knew how to work with low lighting and still deliver beautiful photos. We chose Silverfox because of what we saw of their night images. And now, having gotten our wedding album, we are so happy that we went with Silverfox. Not only did Steve work with the low lighting, but he used it to his advantage, doing creative shots with Christmas lights and snow images and more. I am very impressed with how well he did, and I'm super grateful. Silverfox is fabulous. I felt taken care of throughout the whole process with them. They have a few photographers who work for them, and I was able to see sample albums of real weddings before ever even contracting with them. They were super accommodating. (For example, I didn't need an engagement shoot even though it came included in my package, because my father-in-law had taken those pictures for my husband and me. Silverfox agreed to do a one-year anniversary photo shoot instead. I'm really excited about getting new pictures next year!). Also, I got married the day after a huge blizzard hit Long Island. Steve was on time at all locations, and he was still very gracious. He was willing to do pictures with us, outside, in 5 degree polar vortex weather. He also helped me wrangle my enormous Cuban family and my husband's Italian side for formal shots, and still allowed my husband and I to enjoy our special wedding moments. I'm so happy with Silverfox, and I would highly recommend them to anybody interested in great photography for low cost (at least in comparison to other photography companies of similar caliber). Finally getting around to my review. I was very excited to go with silver Fox for my wedding because my husband had used them before and was happy with the results. The DJ Steve was out of this world and all my guests were very pleased with the music, entertainment and Steve himself! I will be using him for all my events! The photography was Just ok. John was great and super informative when we sat down for the initial meeting. The getting ready shots were beautiful and near perfection since we were actually getting ready while the photographer was there. She was very pleasant but the actual pictures from the venue weren't what I expected. I was given nearly if not more than 2000 pictures but I don't feel like there was Much direction with the photos at the venue after the ceremony. We spent most of the cocktail hour taking pictures of the family which is on me because I wanted pictures with my large family but I had discussed earlier that the pictures of just me and my husband would be during dinner which was fine because I rather have amazing pictures than dinner. My husband and I were taken away for pictures for 5/10 minutes during dinner then we headed back and that's all I have. Even those pictures were less than spectacular as my husband and I were given little direction. I didn't realize until I was trying to pick out photos to enlarge and put on my wall and realized I couldn't even find many pictures I was crazy about for even the thank you cards. I'm pretty disappointed in the venue pictures although the getting ready pictures were great and the dancing pictures were fun. I just wish there was more of an effort to provide the same results that were displayed during the meetings since I had a million things going on during the wedding to think about if I had proper pictures. My husband and I used Silverfox for our Photography, Videography, and Entertainment and we couldn't be happier with their services! We wanted to give a shoutout to Alex, Steven, and Jessica who worked with us throughout the planning process! Our photographer, Heather was absolutely phenomenal! Such a gem! We're an easy going couple, but when there was a chance that we could possibly go into overtime for our limo, we started to get a little nervous. Not only did Heather get all the portrait shots we requested (which were a LONG LIST) at the church, but she finished so quick that we got to the reception venue EARLY! With the help of my bridesmaids, Heather helped keep a low stress environment and listened as I vented to her about the morning I had. She was sweet, professional, and definitely flexible with taking shots at when it was convenient for us! We never noticed Roy was there, until he would come up to us to ask us a question here and there about shots. This made us confident in knowing that we'll probably get the shots of us relaxed and enjoying ourselves in the moment, candidly, like we wanted. Our MC Chris & DJ Rob were the definition of professional and flexible. Their equipment and set up was so beautifully and professionally done. Their speakers and mics sounded great. They were clear in their speaking and you could hear and understand everything they were saying. I had a surprise performance planned for my husband which involved myself singing for him. Chris accidentally let it slip, but was so smooth in hiding his mistake that my husband didn't notice! Chris ran everything by us and made sure to kept us on the timeline. We included the traditional dollar dance for our reception and gave them a list of line dance songs to play, and they played them all! The music Rob played was on point and everyone danced! We also booked our Photo Booth with Silverfox and the technicians were funny and fun! We wished the booth was a little bit bigger to fit larger groups of people, and multiple print outs could be made for everyone in the group, but they accommodated larger groups by undoing the back curtain! I had an absolutely awful experience with Silverfox for my wedding. I was told we were getting a different photographer than we originally had booked with two weeks prior to my wedding. The man didn't even have a business card there leading me to believe he was brand new. Anyway- my first time meeting him was the day of my wedding. He was very nice, but a very shy guy. Almost seemed scared to speak up to get the shots he wanted. Never told anyone to move or pose or anything. I told him 10 shots I desperately wanted. I got caught up in the wedding craziness and got zero of those photos. We booked our venue because of the beautiful new lobby they had- I have not one picture in the lobby. I got family shots done with my in laws at the end of the night after my hair had fallen down and after dancing all night long after my mother in law found him and asked him if they were gonna get any pictures with his side of the family. It was the first time my husband had seen his dad in 15 years, and he got a tux for no reason. They have not one picture together. I am completely heart broken over my pictures. Out of the hundreds of shots , I got two that I like. Even my wedding party ones - awful. They did not make us pay the final pick up cost which was I think around 150 or 200$ for the flash drive with my wedding day photos- but that doesn't make up for the awful pictures I have to show my children one day. Since I was 18, I had dreamed of using Silverfox for my wedding- and using them was not only the most stressful last minute thing to find out before my wedding day, but I won't even show anyone my pictures or make an album.
