THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING!! I got a Brazilian wax for the very first time ever. Before coming in, I did thorough research and had decided getting waxed would be literal hell and there was no way I wouldn't cry. ReWAXation was a pleasant surprise. The lady waxing me knew I was nervous so she talked me through the whole thing, and made me super comfortable. There was conversation the whole time, so I was able to focus on something besides hair getting ripped off my body. The experience really didn't hurt, and was overall 100000x better than I had expected. She then explained how to properly take care of the area and what to do before I get waxed again. I'm glad I came here, and they can definitely count on me becoming a regular. If you're needing a wax place do yourself a favor and come here!! Is it weird to be in love with your wax place?!? I tried reWAXation on a whim after seeing a flyer in my office. I worked in the salon/spa industry for most of my adult life - so I've had my fair share of Brazilians. Some okay, some nightmare inducing. Believe me when I say Sally gave me the best sugaring experience of my life, hands down! Not only was she super quick (I think I was in, paid, and out the door within 20 minutes), it was virtually painless. I'm still in shock at how little pain (not only during, but after!) I experienced. Her easy conversation made a somewhat awkward situation totally comfortable. Needless to say my next appointment was booked before I left. I had been looking for a new place to get waxed and found this amazing waxing salon on South Lamar during my daily bike ride!! I made an appointment for sugaring because I had never had the service done before and they are the only place that does it! I was met by the owner Shay (super lovely!!) and she was the one who was going to do my sugaring. She was very open about the procedure and not pushy at all! I just moved to Austin and was in desperate need of a new wax place. Thankfully my best friend lives in San Francisco and RAVED about reWAXation and told me to get my butt over here. Had my first ever Brazilian with Jess Blue and the whole experience (and except the pain ) was fantastic! They text and emailed reminders, preliminary forms, and even followed up the day after to assure satisfaction. The best in Austin! I love this place and will not go anywhere else. They offer red and white wine to enjoy before your appointment in their adorable, comfy waiting room. I saw Dianna for my Brazilian and she is fantastic. Not only is she funny and sweet, she is really great at what she does. They offer sugaring as well as hard wax service for the same price ($58 - only $48 if you return within 4 weeks of your last appointment.) I went yesterday for my first brazillian sugaring with Sally. I was nervous at first but from the second I walked in the atmosphere and staff put me totally at ease. The receptionist offers white/red wine while you wait, music playing, cute vibe. Sally was timely, professional and definitely experienced! She even recommend both hard wax and sugaring depending on the area for my comfort. My first experience had some painful moments but the second I saw it all my pains washed away. I love this place! Sally is the absolute best - she's super professional, does an incredible job and always makes sure you're comfortable. Went in as a new customer and getting my underarms waxed for the first time EVER and it was not as painful as I thought it was going to be, especially since I had alot of hair. Staff was very chill and friendly. Victoria kept a conversation during the process and explained the procedure, keeping it from being awkward. Just went in for my first service post reopen for Covid-19, and their precautions are so exemplary!! They are doing an incredible job keeping everything clean- all aestheticians are wearing a mask the entire you are in the spa, each room gets cleaned top to bottom in between clients and they only allow one client in at a time, you have to "check in" via text when you arrive and they let you know when to come inside. I had an exceptional experience with Victoria! I absolutely loved how comfortable Victoria made me feel as well as the information and tips she gave. The absolute best experience. I went in for a brow wax and tint and very happy with my results and it was painless I've been at other places and wax as you all know hurts but this experience was very painless and no redness.
