Being a new rider can be an intimidating thing when trying to pick the safest gear you can but the guys here know what they sell and know what works best for each persona needs. February I purchased a top of the line Shoei neotec3 helmet with Sena Srl3 ( they installed free ) and it's been a fantastic helmet. Recently my helmet started getting harder and harder to close the modular portion as well as the shield. I called the guys at Speed Addicts and they said to come on down and they would check it out. After the long drive, I got here and as soon as I walked in I was greeted by smiling, friendly people. I explained my concern and immediately Tony and Alex started working on my issues. Within a few minutes they figured out my helmet needed a slight adjustment on the cam gears and just like that, my helmet was back to new condition as far as function. They wouldn't take money so the next best thing is to let everyone know how great the guys here are and how they live up to the reviews and videos online. Not even an hour later after speaking with Dwayne I purchased my Ninja 500 at a steal of a deal over at Bert's. Bro's KPIs and metrics must be SOLID this month to let a sale walk out at the last day of the month. This was my second time at Bert's and both experiences were awesome. Lots of toys to look at, awesome pricing, and more importantly, excellent and friendly service the moment you walk in. This would've been my go-to place if I ever needed service or parts, but I'd rather ride/drive elsewhere than put up with the bullshit here. Unfortunately, my experience with the service department was the exact opposite. They came across as uninterested and acted like helping customers was an inconvenience. If you work in customer service, making customers feel welcome should be part of the job. A few days after my purchase, I received a text asking for feedback about my visit. I didn't hold back--I explained exactly how disappointing my first experience had been. Within minutes, I received a phone call from someone at the store who genuinely wanted to understand what happened. That immediately got my attention. I explained that I had driven over two hours because I had previously made an online purchase that went perfectly, and it gave me enough confidence to visit the store in person. I also shared my concerns about how I was treated by the parts department. He listened, apologized, and told me he would bring the issue to management because he genuinely cared about making things right. To me, that's what great customer service looks like. Anyone can make a mistake, but not every business takes the time to listen, follow up, and address a customer's concerns. On top of that, they have competitive prices and a great selection in stock. Because of the way they handled my feedback, I wouldn't hesitate to make the two-hour drive again. Hopefully, the service department improves, because the rest of the experience and especially the way management responded earned my respect.

He also took the time to thoroughly explain the different plans and ESP options, including the VIP Maintenance ESP, Extended Service Plan ESP, Tire & Wheel ESP, and Battery Replacement ESP. I appreciated actually being given a breakdown of what my options were instead of just being rushed through the paperwork. I also have to give a huge shoutout to Misty in service. She helped me with information on the plans as well, but where she really stood out was her knowledge on the service side. She gave me a very detailed explanation of what to expect with service and maintenance and answered my questions in a way that made it obvious she really knows her stuff. When you're buying a used motorcycle with some miles already on it, having confidence in the people who will potentially be taking care of it in the future means a lot. Talking with Misty actually made me feel even better about my purchase. Knowing there are people with her level of knowledge in the service department makes me completely comfortable bringing my Pan America back here for future visits. My god, if there's someone you hate, be sure to show interest in a bike they have with their phone number I ended up buying one elsewhere, but they kept spam texting and calling. They just couldn't get the hint. I eventually accidentally answered a call from them and they asked me if I was interested in buying a bike from them. I told them no, because I had already bought one, and of course they asked, what did you buy? Now, I could have told them what I bought, but I thought to myself, how can I get these guys off my ass but also to joke around, so I said "BMW." Before I could say, just kidding, the guy on the other end scoffed, laughed and hung up right away. It couldn't have turned out honestly. Two birds one stone! I got them off my ass and they showed me their true colors. I have several bikes, including HDs and BMWs and I love them all, there's really no need to be like this.
