Thankfully after looking at some reviews I decided to check out ELDORADO and I met the wonderful Mark. Mark is like a kind uncle . He was patient, he was informative, and he was invested in me making the right choice for my lifestyle and my budget . He was never pushy like the typical sleazy used car salesman so I felt comfortable working with him. We found a car that worked for me and his team even handled all the dmv requirements so I didn't have to do that myself . I am so happy with my purchase . My family got a chance to meet mark as well and said if they ever are in the market for a car they would work with him in the future! I also want to note that after I bought the car I had a problem with my heat . I called mark and he was so apologetic and instantly called a mechanic who took care of it right away at no cost to me. Mark has called to follow up with me and ask about my family even though I already bought the car. He is a genuine person as well as the rest of his staff. By the way that's half of what the car cost! Fist time taking it into an interstate going above 65mph and the cars transmission fails. When a car You just bought, and after being assured it was running great! Has it's transmission fail, is a large kick in the teeth! I would advise anyone considering buying used, to seek a proper inspection at the car dealership before buying used. Do not take the people selling it on their word, as it can cost you big time. We were dumb enough to think we won't need the extended warranty. Maybe you should chip in for it. Better than being stuck with a $5000 bill I somehow have to find in the back of my couch. I really wanted to like this place but now I am just waiting for more things to fail with the car I'm now stuck with until it's paid up.

Tried to make a deal on a 2025 WRX 2 weeks ago . the process…read morestarted when I inquired for this car online earlier in the week , stating on my inquiry that I could not talk on the phone during the day and could you email me since I work 10 hour days as I am not allowed to be on the phone during work hours . I got a few basic emails that said call and we can talk. I sent another email back asking some questions. Pretty much those responses were not getting me the information I wanted . So i decided To ask them to give me a phone call after 3:30 on a Tuesday or Wednesday, I never got a phone call.. I decided I would drive drive all the way into the city from Hudson County New Jersey to try to make the deal on early Saturday morning . I was introduced to a salesman who was a very nice guy. But seem to be a little new at the job , we started talking numbers. I knew what I wanted to pay but we were off on the price to make a deal by $200. And after the salesman went back-and-forth to his manager seven or eight times with the deal I wanted , they stayed rock solid for $200. I wanted the car for 41,000 out the door, they would not budge off of $41,200. Then I was like OK I'll pay the 41,200. Then The car I was trading had aftermarket wheels. I asked the salesman if they could swap the stock wheels back on to my trade. I had the stock Wheels . i just needed them swapped and wanted my aftermarket wheels back. He asked the manager and they said, no, but we can get the shop to do it for you and you could pay for it. Which I was shocked they wanted to charge me to do this. I'm buying a $40,000 car and you can't get this done for me as part of the deal. I have done deals like this at other dealerships, on other new car deals. Never had a problem. So I ask how much would it cost me. So the salesman proceeds to calls the service shop and they say they will charge me $250 to swap my stock wheels back on. But they can't do it that day. I was still in shock that they wanted me to pay and could not put it in the deal for me.. Every other dealer has done this for me in deals and never had a problem switching wheels for me at no charge and throwing it into the deal. So i say.... OK, you know what keep my Wheels. I just want the car at $41,200. I was getting very aggravated and frustrated at this point. But I wanted the car. So i said fine lets do this. I was their first customer in the show room on a Saturday morning 9am . I said I want to take the car home today. To my shock, i was told Well you can't have the car today. We have cars in front of you we have to prep to deliver today. You have to come back sometime next week. I looked at the salesman and said I drove all the way from Hudson County New Jersey to buy this car. They still told me no , I had to wait . Now mind you the car was on the showroom floor and was clean and ready to go.. Absolutely terrible. I have never seen a dealer, especially if you're the first customer of the day. Tell me that I could not have the car. To me i though car sales 101 , never let the customer leave . I can understand if it was late at night, but it wasn't. I was the first and only person there.. And if you think I'm not telling the truth about the deal. I have a picture of the work up of the deal with the numbers on it . They Would not budget on $200, would not throw in swapping the stock wheels back on wanted to charge me $250, would not give me the car the same exact day and wanted me to travel back for it later in the week. Never been treated like this at a dealer . And I was polite and calm the whole time. So we did not make a deal. I got up to leave and they did not even try to stop me. I decided I was going to go to another dealer in engelwood NJ . Which I should've just gone to in the first place and not made the trip over to New York. I made a deal in NJ in about 30 minutes, not only did I get a better deal, but I also got an extended warranty for five years, five free oil changes. The dealer volunteered to swap my wheels off my trade-in for free and they threw in the extended armrest on the WRX . I was in and out of the second dealership within three hours. had my new car that day. Koeppel is the worst run dealership I've ever seen in my life absolutely terrible. I never even got a follow up call from the dealer asking if we could figure out how to make a deal. I don't know. Maybe they just didn't like me. Absolutely shocked and disappointed.

The experience was lackluster at first, but was turned around and ended well. The long version: I was looking for a family vehicle, and after looking around a bit, I found that Great Neck Buyers and Sellers Inc had a very clean 2012 Land Rover Lr4 with 81K miles. Listed Price: $16,695.00 I verified that it was there. Kay was very pleasant on the phone. I was coming from 1 hour and 20 minutes away, and scheduled an appointment to test drive the vehicle. I was already approved for the loan with my bank. When we got there we were introduced to a salesman name David. David was an excellent salesman, I have no issues with him. He was just doing his job so I don't blame on him. He quickly let me know that The price was not the real price in that I would have to add $1,995 down payment to be at the price. So the vehicle's actual price was: $18,690! Anyway, we where allowed to see the vehicle, but it was not ready for a test drive. I insisted that we test drive, but was brought in to do paperwork instead. I figured ok, no problem. I explained, as we start the paper work, that I was already approved by my bank. That news seemed to trouble Dave, he mentioned that we MUST finance with them. They don't like you buy without financing through them, since the owners make money with the banks and so they require you to finance. But he was nice enough ask for an exception, and he got it. He then proceeded to go though some numbers, so he got a piece of paper and started adding in more fees (he did waive some). By the time we got to the finance guy here is what it started to look like: $1995 down payment $1099 Prep Fee $295 Doc Fee (waived) $525 DMV Fee (insane) The straw that broke the camel's back was when he mentioned a warranty, and I told him that I had one included in my bank's financing. He had to ask for permission to waive this as well. When he came back, he introduced me to Kazi, another salesman there, who politely explained their warranty policy (that you must buy one from them), he offered that he would ask the company for permission and give me a response the following day. At that point, I explained that enough was enough, and that I did not agree with their style of operation, and would be looking elsewhere for a vehicle. So I left. About 45 minutes later, I received a call from Kazi requesting the opportunity to make everything right. He promised to have the vehicle ready for test drive the next morning. I agreed to discuss it the next day and see. Kazi called me the next day as he said he would. I explained that I felt that since I was fortunate enough to be approved with warranty already, that I did not appreciate such of what i felt was a run around. He was very apologetic, and courteous. I asked him for the no-nonsense price, and he told me 18,500 plus tax and tags. I took a day to think about it, and agreed to test drive and if all well, purchase. Kazi was off on the day that I went in to test drive and purchase. But he made all accommodations for me, so that I had a pleasant experience when I went back. I did. David had the vehicle ready to test, I did, and agreed to purchase. From that point on, I worked with David and John, the owner, whom were both professional, and courteous for the entire transaction. In the end, I purchased a fine vehicle at a decent price, from professional and courteous people. My only qualm is with the process, the added fees, hidden down payment, and the required finance and warranty, but at the same time, if I was not preapproved with a warranty, I would have had no issue with the latter. All is well that ends well!! I recommend this dealership, just be ready for the parameters stated. What cannot be understated is the professionalism of all three gentlemen, and especially Kazi for reaching out to make it happen. Thanks to David, Kazi and John.

It was very expensive to maintain a car that I used once or twice a month. I decided to sell a 2021 Mazda CX-30 that had 2200 miles on it. I did my research on Edmunds and Kelly Blue Book and factored in whatever minor damage the car had. I went to the dealer as I had seen similar cars on their lot which they were offering for almost as much as I paid originally. The associate told me that the car was worth $5000 less than I had read because it had minor repairs--even though they were fixed. I walked away. I then went to Simple Auto Group, which is a broker not a dealer. The associate inspected the car, took note of the damage and immediately offered me close to the estimate from Edmunds and Kelly. We negotiated a little and in the end I felt I received a fair price. The refreshing thing was that he started at a reasonable price and did not try to badmouth my car and then lowball me.
