Yesterday, Dylan approached me in door-to-door sale about window washing; normally I don't accept. But his company was already doing window washing for my neighbors. My windows had never been washed since they were installed about 10 years ago. So I accepted. Today Victor showed up to wash the outside of the windows, including the window sills, and the window screens. 34 windows and 19 screens in all. They have solicitors that are super rude and disruptive. They rang my doorbell twice and then banged on the door. I thought there was some kind of emergency. Woke my baby up as well. I've repeatedly had this happen and we have a NO SOLICITATION sign. It's very obvious, clear and is directly below the doorbell. If they ring it they can see it. Their salesperson knocked our door and said they were coming to our neighborhood for window cleaning. I did feel they were pushy at the first place trying to sell us their service, but my husband agreed to accept their quote as we just recently moved in and wanted to have our windows cleaned. The sales person Max reassured that they will show us all areas that were cleaned after the job was done to ensure satisfaction. On the day of the cleaning, the service man was on time. When he arrived, he asked if we had a skylight which I told him no. He said that Max made a note that we had a skylight, and we found that it should be the house next to us having it but no us. I got an impression that the quote we got may not be accurate as we did not have any skylight to be cleaned. When the job was done, they just came and had us to complete the payment; they did not show us the areas that were cleaned to confirm and ensure job completeness. We did find that some windows did not look clean and still have dirts, so we were not very convinced that all windows were cleaned per service coverage. read more

Yet another door to door solicitor. I'm fed up with these interruptions. We have two "no soliciting" signs on our property. I answered the door and said, "Hi, there's no soliciting here, and we have signs that say so", as I pointed to the sign that's right there at our door. In response, he claimed to not be soliciting, and then proceeded to solicit. He also was NOT wearing a residential sales agent license, which is required for door to door sales. We contracted with Revive Pro Services for the following: 1 Roof Moss Prevention (incl tax): $384.77 - Large chunks of moss will be gently brushed off - Gutters will be cleaned out 2 Gutter Cleaning (incl tax): $192.94 - All large debris will be removed from eaves troughs - Downpipes will be flushed with water to remove residual dirt and debris - FREE Gutter Maintenance Check Item (1) was completed more or less satisfactorily, but it was clear that the worker didn't realize he was supposed to do item (2) i.e., more work on the gutters. I didn't think about that until after he was gone either. (Truth to tell, I wasn't entirely happy with him / Revive Pro Services at that point because I'd clearly stated, both when arranging the services and when talking with the person on-site, that we did *not* want any zinc applied to our roof and yet he started applying it, stopping only because I happened to be outside at the time and could call up to tell him to desist.) Although item 2 hadn't been done, we were invoiced for the full amount. I had decided by that point that we could skip it. I informed Revive Pro Services that we were fine with the work not being done and asked them to remove it from their invoice. That seemed straightforward and sensible. Instead we got into a contracted argument about it with Revive Pro. Their representative was willing to reduce the total amount charged by about $100 or to send someone else out to do the work, but not to charge us only for the work actually completed. At no point did he admit that the work of Item (2) hadn't been done, only that the worker hadn't gotten any good photos of it. Exhausted, we agreed to pay for almost half of the work not done. (We paid $481.24.) Today we put up Christmas lights so I was able to look at (and photograph) the gutters in the front of the house. They pretty clearly illustrate that no work has been done on them lately. I sent the photos to Revive Pro Services, thinking that with clear evidence that no work had been done on them, they'd refund what we'd paid for this "work." But no. They "understand [my] frustration" but continue to claim that the discount offered and / or the offer to send someone new to (maybe) do the actual work contracted is sufficient. I typically don't hire door-to-door services, and this experience reminded me why. While the team cleaned our windows, they didn't use a squeegee--so every window was left with water spots and residue, which defeats the purpose of a professional clean. I even have photos showing the streaking (attached). I could put more but 3 gets the picture. But the real issue began when they removed our window screens. During reinstallation, they bent one of our custom-made screen frames so badly you can fit a finger between the screen and the window--it no longer seals out bugs. When Max came to reinstall the screens, the interaction took a turn for the worse. Rather than taking accountability and being apologetic, he began lecturing me about how my custom screens were supposedly the wrong size--screens that were made specifically for our windows. When I pointed out the severely bent frame that his team had damaged, his demeanor shifted from dismissive to outright rude. He told me to go buy a $35 frame from Home Depot as a solution. For context, our screens are specially made with premium netting and cannot be replaced with off-the-shelf hardware. A million dollar home usually can't be remedied by cheap, cookie cutter generic replacements - we all know this. His tone was aggressive, unkind, and completely unprofessional. I was shocked--literally. My body went into a stress response, and I began physically shaking. No customer should be made to feel this way in their own home. It's a shame because the other workers were kind and respectful. But Max's attitude and disregard for both property and professionalism ruined the experience. They came to my front door (cold call) and told me they could do my windows today. We agreed on a price. I was working so it was inconvenient, but I contacted my Airbnb guest, had the windows closed, and moved the dog so he wouldn't react. They never came. They called me after the time they promised and asked if they could do the windows tomorrow instead. I do not intend to inconvenience my Airbnb guest again. Nor myself. We don't engage vendors who solicit door to door, but these individuals were providing a service of interest so I listed to the pitch. They were hitting up neighbors of existing customers in our neighborhood, and the work they were doing lined up with some neglected spring cleaning tasks - specifically cleaning the windows and sills of our home. Julius was dispatched almost immediately once the estimators were gone and he knocked out more than 16 windows in no time. He did an excellent job, was respectful to our property and my time, and was courteous and professional in his communication. I would recommend them if you are in the market for window cleaning, or if they happen to be in your neighborhood...they have a logo'd truck that they bring around and are legit. Revive staff went door to door in my neighborhood with the promise of cleaning the windows and windowsills. Their cleaning did not thoroughly remove the dirt on the windowsills. When I asked the cleaning technician to clean the sills, he called his boss to check on whether that was necessary and proceeded to do a less than satisfactory job. When the windows dried, there were big streaks. I'm not sure how much cleaning solution was in the water. read more

Like other reviewers I was a bit hesitant about using services from someone that knocked on my door. But they were cleaning windows at a neighbor's house and ours definitely needed cleaning. After they were done, I noticed some windows and sills that didn't get fully cleaned. I texted and received an immediate response that they would come back on Monday to fix any issues. Danny showed up promptly and was polite and willing to redo any of the windows/sills. He wanted to make sure it was a job well done. They offered to wash my windows, sills and frames, and since mine were filthy, and it's been years since I've done it myself, I actually said yes. Please make sure you have a written quote from this business before you approve the service. They knocked on the door, and told my husband one quote, and sent the invoice with a totally different number. It's hard to dispute because we only had a verbal quote. It's not a good business practice and should never trust anyone who knocked on the door with the verbal quote only! read more

These guys are amazing! The north side of our three story house was covered with green algea/mold from leaky gutters and no sun at all due to large trees. We originally had the windows done before we knew they did the siding. They came back, did the siding, then brought back the original crew and redid the windows at no charge and without our asking. The service is well worth it, but the customer service is a hold over from another era! And they were very careful with my thirty year old Rhododendrons! Hands down recommendation! read more
