I had a haircut with Kosara and she gave me a wonderful middle length with long layer haircut with curtain bangs. She is consultative, accommodating with my lack of a made-up mind (!). I never loved any new haircut leaving a saloon (it's just me!) but I love the one she gave me more and more in the days after. She's a junior stylist so technically you are a hair model but she's been practicing for 3+ years so you're getting a really good haircut! Thank you Kosara! Warning! Christine did not listen to my wishes and completely disregarded my request for the color I was seeking and instead did what she thought looked best, which was not even close to what I wanted. I will have to go elsewhere to have her botched job corrected, because when I offered to come in for her to correct the color, she refused to even acknowledge her mistake and she also refused to refund any portion of the exorbitant price she charges. Best colorist in MARIN!!!! Christine is a miracle worker. An artist. A change maker! I had had enough of dealing with my roots (bright gray) every 2 - 3 weeks, in the area around my face. The dying and hot iron, despite product, was slowly drying out my cuticles, and the color was defaulting to a brassy hue. But there were those damn roots! Driving me crazy! The thought of letting my hair 'grow' out was daunting as I began to count the number of upcoming professional and personal events I'd be going to with my hair pulled back or wearing a hat or...or...I was not feeling comfortable with this, at all Enter, Christine of Revery in Mill Valley. She changed the color to extend beyond the 1-1.5"silver roots, to reflect the natural patterning of my hair. It went from a chestnut brown, to a cool gray. There are not enough great things to say about Revery and the staff at this salon. I have been following Christine for ... many, many years. She is more than a colorist, she is an artist extraordinaire! She is calm and laid back but fierce in her desire to make sure you have the best experience. She is a PRO. I have been with the salon since the day they opened and have watched it grow and evolve, never loosing sight of the main object: making sure your hair looks amazing when you leave, complete with "depth and dimension". I've been going to Revery for about a year now, just to see Dani. She's by far the best hairdresser I've had, and she probably knows my hair better than I do at this point! I have wavy mixed Asian hair and a medical condition that causes my hair texture to change at random but Dani always knows exactly what to do and knocks it out of the park every time. I just had my hair treated with Pura luxe smoothing treatment by Gale Bergeman at Revery Salon this weekend. OMG Life changing. My gray frizzy dull Hair is manageable shiny and I wake up and just run a brush through it and I'm ready to go. She did an amazing job and is very professional. She also gave me a great cut. My hair and I are so happy Denise made the leap of fate over to Revery salon. I followed her from Sproos salon and I would follow her anywhere! I walked in and felt the true feeling of being in a Chic but welcoming and comfortable salon environment. I wanted to keep the lighter colors of summer Denise had previously applied because I was still having fun and loving it so she came to a good medium transitioning into fall. The color is so multi demential and when I wear my hair in even basic styles it keeps things versatile. I am always on the go and even after long stretches of travel or time constraints my hair still looks good.
