Heather is my hairstylist at Revery and she's great! She understands what I'm asking for and has helped improve my hair. I've always had a good experience. read more

I'm quite disappointed with the two haircuts I received from Nishan. As a senior stylist, her services were also quite expensive--$225 and $175, plus tips. Nishan is a very pleasant person and spent a great deal of time working on my hair, but unfortunately, I've realized that I can't go back. I feel that she cut my hair as though it were straight hair, particularly in the front. My hair is very curly, and the result simply didn't work for me. In the back, I also feel that all the time spent creating layers was largely for naught. My hair appears mostly unlayered, and the overall shape isn't what I was looking for. I really wanted to like these haircuts, and I appreciated Nishan's time and effort, but unfortunately, the results were disappointing. read more

Came in for my second haircut with Nishan. She is thoughtful, precise, and one of the best I've ever seen - I have "difficult" hair (multiple wave patterns, frizzy, cowlicks...) and on top of that don't know a thing about styling my own hair! For the first time in my life I felt my haircut fit my face naturally with little maintenance. I felt comfortable just letting her do whatever she felt was best. Thanks so much! read more

Hair Colorist, Heather ! Oh wow! Now here's a stylist that is not only talented but has high attention to detail and really goes beyond in customer service. I can't say enough great things about working with Heather. She's so brave to take my virgin black hair to blonde. She just secured a life time customer with me. I will be going back to her regularly. Thank you Heather for sharing your talent with me. read more

I had a haircut with Kosara and she gave me a wonderful middle length with long layer haircut with curtain bangs. She is consultative, accommodating with my lack of a made-up mind (!). I never loved any new haircut leaving a saloon (it's just me!) but I love the one she gave me more and more in the days after. She's a junior stylist so technically you are a hair model but she's been practicing for 3+ years so you're getting a really good haircut! Thank you Kosara! Salon is nice and airy, not chemical sounding and tons of parking. read more

Marin County's premier salon. Extremely well run, with some of the very best stylists. Definitely well priced, while some local salon's pretend to offer pretentious San Francisco brands, this salon is the best in Marin. This is no secret, so be patient getting your first appointment, they get you on a regular schedule. Amazing location, easy walk to downtown Mill Valley. read more

Junior stylist, Heather A, is unbelievably talented. Especially considering she's fairly new to the field. She really understands how to cut hair, how to frame layers, and she does beautiful color! These photos are from my balayage a few weeks ago. Best of all, Heather's prices are crazy reasonable. read more

I received consistently great haircuts from Heather! She has great attention to detail, listens well, and offers her professional opinion when needed. I moved away from Mill Valley, but still make the drive to come into Revery. I can't recommend Heather enough! read more

Love my haircut from Heather!! Super cute and prices are reasonable Super happy that I've found someone I can come to consistently

I've been going to Myles for a little over a year (maybe longer). She's always friendly, listens well, and does an excellent job. I recently had her do some highlights and could not be more thrilled. I've received so many compliments. The pictures just don't even do the color justice. read more

It is not easy to find a good hair master. Recommended by a dear friend, to disappear grey, ended up with a mismatched partial highlight that made it even more grey, and an unlayered cut. Had to go to my ~100 mile drive away UK Hair place to have it fixed, $400 later. read more

I love the stylists at Revery! I recently saw Lou for a partial highlight and color correction and am so happy with the results. I had been neglecting my hair for over six months and I felt that Lou knew exactly what I wanted (and what my hair needed). The salon energy is professional, comfortable and unpretentious. All the stylists are also super knowledgeable about proper maintenance and product for when you leave the salon. I feel so refreshed and taken care of. Looking forward to coming back soon for a touch-up and a haircut. read more

Myles is phenomenal!! She did my corrective color, which was SO needed. She was careful to protect the integrity of my hair from breakage and spent the time needed to give me the exact results I wanted, blonde highlights with lowlights to match my natural color. Go see Myles! read more

Lou did my hair and I can't believe that more than a month later, my hair still looks incredible -- healthy, amazing cut for my face, and they really listened! I'm pregnant and was scared to have any treatments that could be harmful, Lou is soooo knowledgeable about the science and art of hair care. They helped me pick out the perfect treatments and products to go home with. Will definitely be coming back to Lou for my next hair treatments and freshen up the ol curtain bangs! read more

I've been seeing Dani (Danielle) for a few years now for all of my haircuts- I find that Asian hair can be challenging to cut thus my appreciation for her meticulous attention to detail and consistent work. There's an overall busy yet calm atmosphere in Revery. The other staff members are incredibly sweet and the environment is clean and beautiful. read more

I was a model today for Martina who is an apprentice at Revery, she learned balayage on my hair and I haven't had color since before the pandemic. She did an AMAZING job, absolute professional work, was even patient with my questions and listened to what I wanted and reassured any concerns I had which, even as a model is very reassuring. Christine and the other stylists at the salon have done a remarkable job training her and building upon her inherent creative talent. Even now with restrictions being lifted, I felt completely safe as they still have Covid precautions in place and have you enter from the side gate, I will definitely be back soon! read more

I've been going to Revery for a few years now and absolutely love my time there. It's a boutique style salon with an intimate setting. It's so nice to not feel like number as one can in a larger salon. The staff is always so polite and fun to be around. Elena Riley did my cut and color! She is very meticulous which I appreciate. I enjoy the quality of work she puts out and her professionalism is noticeable. Not to mention she is a joy to talk to. I will continue being a customer here because I get a wonderful look every time and leave feeling good about myself. Worth it!! read more

My daughter just had her haircut with Heather at Revery. Beautiful hairstyle and super cute salon.

Warning! Christine did not listen to my wishes and completely disregarded my request for the color I was seeking and instead did what she thought looked best, which was not even close to what I wanted. I will have to go elsewhere to have her botched job corrected, because when I offered to come in for her to correct the color, she refused to even acknowledge her mistake and she also refused to refund any portion of the exorbitant price she charges. Her attitude is arrogant and demeaning. read more

Heather was amazing! Took my grey hair and made it beautiful . She was great and really listened to what I wanted. THANK U Heather!!!!

Best colorist in MARIN!!!! Christine is a miracle worker. An artist. A change maker! I had had enough of dealing with my roots (bright gray) every 2 - 3 weeks, in the area around my face. The dying and hot iron, despite product, was slowly drying out my cuticles, and the color was defaulting to a brassy hue. But there were those damn roots! Driving me crazy! The thought of letting my hair 'grow' out was daunting as I began to count the number of upcoming professional and personal events I'd be going to with my hair pulled back or wearing a hat or...or...I was not feeling comfortable with this, at all Enter, Christine of Revery in Mill Valley. She changed the color to extend beyond the 1-1.5"silver roots, to reflect the natural patterning of my hair. It went from a chestnut brown, to a cool gray. Forward thinking, as my hair grows, it will all blend in. Her magic took an extremely short time, and the results are off the hook. If you're needing a total makeover, especially if you're ready to give in to your roots and submit to your natural color...Christine, who has never worked on my hair previously, but who came extremely highly recommended (as the best colorist in Marin), will make it happen. Thank you SO MUCH! read more

Myles is the absolute best! I've gotten my hair cut and colored by her several times and love the results every time. Her balayage work is amazing, and she is so warm and friendly. I always appreciate how she breaks down different options and treatments, while being really transparent about pricing. read more

There are not enough great things to say about Revery and the staff at this salon. I have been following Christine for ... many, many years. She is more than a colorist, she is an artist extraordinaire! She is calm and laid back but fierce in her desire to make sure you have the best experience. She is a PRO. I have been with the salon since the day they opened and have watched it grow and evolve, never loosing sight of the main object: making sure your hair looks amazing when you leave, complete with "depth and dimension". While my mom was terminally ill, we would take her to Revery and all the staff members were so loving and patient, it made her feel "cool" and "hip" (not sick) to be there. I will always appreciate the kindness they showed. read more

I've been going to Revery for about a year now, just to see Dani. She's by far the best hairdresser I've had, and she probably knows my hair better than I do at this point! I have wavy mixed Asian hair and a medical condition that causes my hair texture to change at random but Dani always knows exactly what to do and knocks it out of the park every time. As a plus, she's welcoming, caring, and is fantastic company. I recommend her to my friends and family all the time and I don't know if you could find a better person out there. read more
