After 3 1/2 hours, I had to go and she hadn't even started to blow dry/style my hair. I didn't attend the event I was supposed to go to afterwards (those sideburns aren't going anywhere anytime soon) and they knocked about $40 off. Still means I got a subpar partial highlight for about $235 bucks...in Richmond, VA...which is crazy. I'll be looking for a new place next time around and trying to keep my head down and my hair untucked and over my ears until these brown stains along the side of my face fade. Ridiculous. Update: The owner did call me, following this review. I went all out and I left feeling absolutely relaxed. If I had to do it again, I would not bother with the bath soak, I've had the same caliber of baths at home. My favorite part was the sugar scrub with Lucy, she was amazing. I started with the sauna. I was led to the room and given clear instructions. I loved starting here because it set the tone for a meditative experience. There was a timer in the sauna and a remote to switch the lighting if I wanted. This was really nice. I then was led to the bath soak room. This was my own doing, but I chose to come from a hot sauna into a HOT bath. I tried cooling down the water, but it did not work. I spent most of the time outside of the bath. The room was absolutely beautiful and inspired me. I loved the bathtub shape and the pillows provided. The bathtub tray with tea was lovely. It was also nice that they provided body scrub and lotion. The few flowers in the bath were cute. After that, I was a bit lost. Thankfully there was a sheet in there to explain that I could wait in the lobby for my next session. The wait took a bit. Someone kindly offered me some snacks which I enjoyed. I loved that they were vegan and gluten-free. After spending most of the afternoon in a DIY spa session, Lucy was an amazing next spa treatment. She guided me through what to expect. Her voice was very soothing. The sugar scrub was relaxing and left me feeling absolutely smooth. She recommended doing it once a season. Next I was introduced to Justin who was my massage therapist for the last treatment. He was just as kind. For those who are passionate about deep tissue massage, he's perfect for this! On my initial visit, I presented for a single service only. During check-in, I was instructed to download and use a mobile application. At no time was I clearly informed--verbally or in writing--that I was enrolling in a recurring membership program or authorizing ongoing charges. I did not knowingly consent to any such agreement. The individual assisting at the front desk (identified as the physician's spouse) failed to disclose any material terms, including the existence of a membership, recurring fees, or cancellation requirements. I visited the facility approximately six/eight times and did not return thereafter. Despite my discontinuation of services, the business continued to charge my Health Savings Account (HSA) card, resulting in unauthorized charges exceeding $2,000. These charges were made without my knowledge or express authorization. Additionally, I have serious concerns regarding whether these services were eligible for HSA billing, raising further questions about compliance with applicable financial and healthcare regulations. Upon discovering the charges, I contacted the business to dispute them and request a refund. The business has refused to accept responsibility, failed to provide adequate documentation of any alleged authorization, and declined to issue a refund. Further, during my visits, I experienced what I would characterize as undue pressure to undergo additional procedures that did not appear medically necessary, raising concerns about the business's ethical standards and professional conduct. I was going through a very hard time and she bent the rules a little to switch a treatment I paid for on the app to something else because I couldn't continue it. She valued me as a person and recommended the IPL treatment for face and neck. I'm 29 and this is the best facial treatment I've ever had. My skin is smooth and the smile lines and forehead are almost gone. Plus I had PDO threads done here and my jawline looks AMAZING.
