Just a beautiful experience. Kristen is super professional, but also makes you feel so "at home". I took a family member there to get microbladed brows, this person dealt with severe bullying most of their life, and because of that, they have severe self confidence issues and even ptsd. This was something they wanted done and worked so hard to save up for it. Now they were so nervous coming in the door, they said they wanted to throw up. That is until Kristen worked her magic. I'm not just talking about the brows which are a magic all on their own. She started off informing us of every step, but we'd laugh and joke in between, just making things more relaxed and fun. She would really push for after care, keeping area clean not touching with dirty fingers etc. It was refreshing to see her so passionate about sterilization of her tools and clean and sterile work space! She didn't get to finish it all due to how long she took making sure her client was relaxed, and a few breather breaks (for the clients sake, not hers) but really if they were my brows if be happy with just that! But she's going to do the finishing touches on our next visit and this time, it's not going to be so nerve racking or time consuming. I was really pleased to discover that her background is in wound care and many other specialties (like makeup artistry), so she knows her stuff. She's constantly learning new things and training others as well. I just had my 4-6 week touch-up done and I'm super impressed with the results! My eyebrows have plenty of hair, but were lacking in shape and the heads of them were overplucked. I like natural brows (which Kristin could tell just from talking to me for a couple of minutes) and she spent plenty of time measuring and drawing a shape that I liked. You have to be happy with the shape before she proceeds. Another great thing is that she is perfectly honest about your expectations vs. what is going to work for you. She'll tell you that she "doesn't do stupid". The process didn't hurt too much since she uses two numbing creams. It feels like deep scratching mostly and didn't take too long. Make sure you follow the after care instructions! Kristin is so easy to talk to, receptive to your questions and concerns and her goal is to make you happy. I cannot say enough greats things have Kristin at Derma Hue - from the cleanliness of the studio to the phenomenal work she did on my brows - five stars is an understatement! I love my new brows!!!!! Kristen and amazing and so knowledgeable about the whole process! Her products are high quality and she gave me great instructions on how to care for them. My sister has hers done at another location and she only had the strokes and not the powdering and hers faded so quickly that two months later she's back to filling them in. I had very little hair growth on both of my brows and a scar through one of them.
