Excellent place. Great employees. Always clean. Great membership prices. Everyone is very knowledgeable.

The quality of the tanning experience, specifically the beds and the resulting tan, is perfectly acceptable. The equipment is sufficient to achieve the desired results, and the pricing is comparable to other reputable salons in the area that use similar-tier beds. If the technical goal is simply to get a tan, this salon delivers on that front. However, the positive aspects end at the quality of the lamps. The atmosphere and staff interaction consistently made me feel entirely unwelcome, degraded, and disrespected. As a paying customer, I was frequently subjected to unprofessional behavior, including badmouthing, being openly treated with contempt, and feeling a pervasive sense of hostility. It is astonishing to encounter such poor customer service in a business where clients pay for a premium experience. The core issue is this: you can pay the exact same price and achieve the exact same tan using equivalent beds at another salon, without having to endure altercations, degradation, or feeling completely unwelcome. The added stress and negative interactions here simply are not worth the money or the time. A tanning salon should be a clean, welcoming place for self-care. When the environment is toxic, and the staff's demeanor makes you feel uncomfortable and badmouthed, the value proposition collapses entirely. I strongly recommend finding a location where the staff understands that basic respect and professionalism are non-negotiable parts of the service they are paid to provide. -I want to stress that I am writing this review after being a customer there for probably 10 years, but after being told by the owner's son that I was in the wrong after one of their staff members was aggressive, verbally abusive, her mannerisms were that of intimidation, and the whole situation had me shaken up, the bosses son called me and told me that I was in the wrong and that I had I was not liked by the other girls that worked there. I'm 45 years old. I've never had a fight in my life and I am not an aggressive or abusive person and this is totally unprofessional. Unacceptable and I will never step foot in that establishment again so just take it or leave it. Some of those staff members are just not well... we can leave it at that. read more

I previously left a bad review for Revere tanning and I would like to apologize and change my review. I was upset that one price went up but it's still a very reasonable price. Revere tanning is a great place to tan because everything is updated and works great and they care about their customers. The owner reached out to me and let me know about everything that goes into running this business and she's doing an incredible job. She was very kind and helpful to me. I do recommend Revere tanning because they take care of their customers and they are very clean and you feel better being tan! read more

2022 Reminder: trash salon with horrible, racist ownership. I was always treated with respect when I was a customer for over 6 years, spending $100-200 a month here, sometimes more, until the day I told my friend, who is black, that he could use the restroom in the salon if he really needed to. Since that day, I was treated as if my money didn't matter to them, since they have so many other customers. "You can always cancel your membership, we deal with thousands of people," is verbatim what Tina told me. I'm sure your money doesn't matter to them either. They are entitled and arrogant. Ladies, you can spray yourself with Minetan portable Bronze Babe machine & products, or use the Hydraluxe or Coola mousse at a fraction of the cost if you're into spray tans. I know the experience is therapeutic, but it's not worth it if you can get the same, or better results yourself. Regarding UV beds, unfortunately all of the places in the Northeast are ripoffs. You get what you give. Here, PBT, all of them, so after being an experienced tanner of 18 years and former salon manager, I don't have a solution to that other than getting your own (Ergoline) tanning bed if you have the means. Been going to tan here for a while..never had a problem .today..there was an issue..bed timer was not set had to get dressed to go back out ..there to let them know..then bed shut down at 9 min when I requested 12 min..then I was accused of not knowing how to turn on bed. the male owner contradicted himself by telling me I turned the bed off early..in the world of business you offer a discount for the mishap..not only he did not..he discussed it in front of other customers when he should of pulled me aside to discuss..other customers had to listen and wait..remember the customer experience is not just about the good encounters but the not so good experiences .. read more

Easy booking & great service! Love the mystic spray tanning booths it makes it so easy to get a spray tan in a hurry

I have been a customer at Revere tanning for 3 years and I have always had a great experience, except for today. The women at the desk was rude abrupt and just really off putting. She told me it would be a wait for a bed or I could purchase an upgrade to a higher level. No, I stated I would wait. I then asked for 2 towels and again abruptly she said,' No you can I have one, we are do not have extra or you can purchase one'. Her tone was rude and I responded,'I usually get two and there isn't a problem'. Really?? You can not spare an extra towel, but I can buy one. I have never been told I couldn't have two, let alone been told to purchase one I had never seen this woman working before and honestly her customer service was terrible. AT FIRST, I loved this salon. Very clean and developed an unbelievable bronze color from the Level 5 bed. I was a fairly new customer here but since discovering Revere Tan I have not been to any other salon. However....I was extremely let down after purchasing a $100 bottle of lotion. Used the lotion once and an hour or so after tanning I developed a red itchy rash/ bumps on my legs. I went back to the salon the next time I was in the area and was rudely told by the front desk salesperson that they would not do any type of exchange for a different lotion or give a refund. It's unfortunate because at other salons I have developed this rash from lotions and they had no problem either giving me some of my money back, or exchanging for a different bottle of lotion (at a lesser value). The bottle I have is completely full..could be resold or sold in smaller amounts as samples. I was simply let down by the overall rudeness and lack of quality customer service here. If I could give a negative number I would! This was the worst I mean the ABSOLUTE WORST SPRAY TAN I HAVE EVER GOTTEN!!!!!! I was freakishly orange lake flourescent! And after caking a very thick layer of lotion on my palms I assumed they would be ok but they were the worst part of the whole thing! I would never ever go there again nor would I ever recommend anyone else to go either! I don't use the tanning beds but as far as the spray tanning goes stay away FAR AWAY!!!! read more

They had great service and were very kind and clean. However, the spray tan i got was HORRENDOUS! I exfoliated and prepped my skin as I should have beforehand, made sure to apply a good amount of barrier cream provided. The tan came out so orange, I only got shade medium too. They said that would not turn up orange whatsoever, and I now look like an oompa loompa even after scrubbing my whole body down in the shower the next morning. I would not recommend their spray tans, especially to anyone who is white, you WILL be orange. read more

Best tan of my life! Better than the actual sun, I'm never leaving this place again! Workers were great and the owner was even better. I even made the splurge and bought a pair of the goggles made for "regulars". Can't wait to keep these on my keychain; a fun accessory! I for sure got a little sweaty but no worries, there was a soothing cooling relaxation feature that misted me minutely. Man I can't wait to go back on Monday with my dear friend because this is the new Danvers hot spot!! read more

Eh, overall average tanning salon. Sometimes they have good unlimited monthly specials which is usually the only time I bother to sign up here. I prefer Sunbanque in Beverly for a better tan, cleaner environment, and more friendly customer service. read more

Yea...Yea...I know its bad for you blaaa..blaaa..blaaa...Well if you live in the cold north east you can understand the liberating feeling of a good tan in the middle of winter! This is one of the best salons in the area! All the girls who work there are nice and friendly, and are more than happy to help you out if you are a tanning virgin. The beds are always super clean, and the floors too..kinda hard due to people tracking snow in, they are on top of it!! This place is phenomenal! I went last week interested in signing up for a tanning package to start to get ready for an upcoming cruise. Selena was so nice and answered all my questions with a smile and was very forthcoming about what I'd be paying today and for the next few months and included tax so there were no surprises! I also wanted to know if I had to come back and cancel later and she helped me fill out a form to make sure I wouldn't be billed after my 3month membership. I would assume it was the manager; reached out to me an apologized for my experience and informed me that there is audio and video at the salon and she would look into it. I have been going to Revere Tanning in Danvers every year for the last 4 or 5 summers. But they've gotten VERY expensive and offer lousy specials. Found another local tanning salon with as many beds and same levels offering great specials - buy 1 month get one free, (cheaper monthly rates then Revere Tanning) so they get my business! Plus, you now have to become a "paid member" at Revere Tanning to receive any discounts. See ya! read more

The customer service in the salon is very good I always felt welcomed. I bought $50 month package for tanning i went tanning 3 times and then I got really sick to the point were I couldn't even get out of bed for 2 weeks. I went into the salon when I got better and told the girl at the front desk what happened and she gave me the owners number so that I could call her and see if she could work something out with me. I was hoping that she would be able to rollover my month considering I only used 3 times out of an ulimtited package. I called and left a message and my phone number and why I was calling. The owner never even gave me the consideration to give me a call back. I am 19 years old that is a lot of money to spend on 3 times of tanning. I found it very rude and inconsiderate.
