I had such an AWESOME experience at this place today!!! Let me just start by saying.... I am an Aesthetician & have received injections from many different RN/Injectionist's in the Reno area over the last 10-15 yrs. I usually do Botox & have tried many different fillers in my lips, but unfortunately the filler just doesn't really last very long on me (my body just metabolizes it within a month or two (so disappointing) Don't get me wrong, I love the results immediately after, but let's face it, who wants to pay 350-750 for lips that only last a few months??? Not me!!! I was so blown away with how knowledgeable (& friendly) ALL the staff was here today!!! AND all the clients in the waiting room....LOL! It was like we were all at a private party comparing experiences & different treatments & how awesome this place was! I was scheduled with July & she was running a little behind (she had already seen probably 10-15 clients prior to me that day!) so that just goes to tell you how GREAT she and this place are!! She personally came out & addressed me apologizing for running late. It didn't bother me because I know how it feels & sometimes it just happens. Ok.....so, now on to my appt.! I have NEVER had someone so thorough in answering my questions, as well as give me every option available as to what we were going to do about my "filler situation" Let me just tell you this....I have NEVER felt so comfortable and "taken care of" (and I KNOW she really cared about my face and wanted the BEST for me!) You can feel it when someone really is passionate about what they do, & when someone is JUST passionate about the money!!! I have been to many places in the past & spent thousands in ONE visit & left feeling discouraged & wondering why in the hell I just spent that kind of money and didn't even see that much of a difference, or it only lasted a month or two, and have never left feeling absolutely fantastic, until my visit today at Revenge MD (LOVE the name!!!) I went to Revenge MD's weight loss/nutritional support office for a semiglutide prescription. I received a prescription, however, their office staff is AWFUL! I called on multiple (3-4 occasions) when I needed refills. The woman:on the phone said that she "needed to talk to the doctor and get back to me." Fine, but they never get back up you!!! Every time, I had to call 3-4 times to get anyone to "talk to the doctor" for my refill, and weeks (literally, WEEKS!) would go by! You'd think that they would be interested in keeping repeat customers happy. But, if that is their intent, they are abysmally failing! I've been to revenge twice now, first time just for tox. I have a very fast metabolism and they recommended Xeomin to me and I won't ever go back, first green flag! I went today for more tox and filler. I've been dreading the pain of filler and my nurse was Sandy, who made sure it was a painless experience, no use of dental block was necessary. Derma Fillers i have been getting derma-fillers since i was about 20, i recently moved from Hawaii to Reno and i was in need of an injector and my plan was to originally fly back home or to L.A where i know a couple of trust worthy MED/SPA, but because of this reviews on yelp of this place i trusted them and there i went. originally for fillers + botox THANK GOD i said just lip fillers for now... Let me first tell you that this injector didn't measure, didn't really followed the vermilion border technique which its been used for the past 10 years to avoid clumps, ducklips, this lady injected perpendicularly on my lips (Targeting injections maybe? never heard of such) and almost immediately the fluid started "coming out" (what she explained, from a different hole) she proceeded to tell me that i have porous lips and kept injecting on the same spot for couple minutes, and targeted other areas and long story short after realizing how i was already swollen and she was running out of filler (and she hadn't EVEN touch the other half of my lip) she calls for someone else, who's also freaking out and also never seen this before and they both look at me like i am E.T, then proceeds to tell her how maybe she wasn't going deep enough and also injected me trying to make things not so bad and let me tell you this was the most scary med spa appointment ever. I was so scared but remained quiet because i was literally freaking out inside, then they told me i needed to come back in two weeks for a follow up and to "even out" but honestly id rather fly to the end of the world than to put my lips to these injectors again, your inexperience, and the poor following of appropriate techniques left my lips so uneven i might have to get them disolved if it doesn't get better soon. I have never written a negative review in the many years I have tried to support local businesses. I have frequented other medical spas here in Reno and had wonderful results. When I got my Botox at Revenge MD I had AWFUL results! Within 7 days of receiving my injections my eyelids fell to a point it interfering with vision. Additionally, my eyebrows are now grossly uneven and I have NEW wrinkles under and over one eye brow. I have never had wrinkles here in my life. I look like a freak! My face is terribly misshaped now and I don't look like myself or even normal. I have called, left a message and sent text messages. No one will return any of my messages. They have shown they do not care at all about their patient's well being. After talking with my friend about my experience, she informed me she had the facial threading done there. She had a stitch break and now has a permanent scar in the middle of her cheek. DO NOT go here unless you are okay with having your face disfigured! read more

Yet again another wonderful 5 star experience from Sandra at revenge md! This time I received an email for a valentines special for lip filler! (I love that each month they have specials and they also have an awesome rewards program) Anyways, I was so so so nervous to get it done because A-I was terrified that it would hurt so bad and B-I didn't want my lips to be crazy big. Sandra truly is an amazing injector with a perfectionist touch. She addresses all my concerns with me, they numb you with this really good topical Numbing gel and she went over what I wanted. She ended up using 1 syringe of Versa filler, and she worked so hard to make sure everything was symmetrical. I have two small scars from a serious dog bite that she warned night not fill with the filler, BUT SHE DID IT! she truly is so talented and will make sure you love the end result. It really shows when someone loves what they do if you are considering get lip fillers but are scared don't be!!! tl;dr: Sandy legitimately tried her hardest to make it right. I mean, like, she plead with me like your drunk boyfriend you're trying to leave. Her heart was in it, people. But somehow, just like your drunk boyfriend, she made it worse. Disclaimer: This is my experience and yours may be completely different. Without further ado: I am writing this with a heavy heart. I don't want to be the person writing this review about someone's business. I have friends who are small business owners. I understand how grave this is. I even talked it over with some of those friends before proceeding. The thing is If I think "Someone should do something" and no one is doing anything, then I have a responsibility to be that person. And someone should do something so that you don't end up with crappy aesthetic results or complications that arise from receiving Botox injections from someone who lacks the knowledge, experience and skill required. So here I am. This is an update of what happened after I posted by initial review. After additional interactions with staff of Revenge MD, I decided to accept their refund because while it won't make my face look any better, maybe spending that money on a spa day will help slough all the icky feelings of this experience: After receiving the offer of a refund on Wednesday December 5th and declining it on Thursday, I received a voicemail message from Sandy in business development. She said she was accustomed to everyone loving what they do, that she doesn't like people not being happy with their work, that it kind of hurts, that she did not feel good about taking my money. She said one way or the other, she would like to refund my money. Friday, I returned her call and left a message. I got no response. So I sent a text because I know everyone receives those. At this point, I'm imagining that what will happen is I will be treated with kindness and dignity. I will receive an actual apology and an acknowledgement of my complaint. That is not what happened, people. Not at all. Sandy called me back almost immediately exasperated, explaining she'd had a family emergency. She seemed quite upset, which I understand. She again told me how much everyone likes their service. She gave me bizarre explanations for the other negative Yelp reviews that I did not even mention. No actual apology, just a weird diatribe about how everyone else likes them. She asked me to update my review to include that she has tried to make it right. Then she offered other services, despite the fact that I'd already said I wasn't comfortable with their office treating me any further. I repeatedly told her no, reiterating I wasn't comfortable with her office providing any more services. She kept insisting, repeating my name in every single sentence, like we were old pals. I asked her to respect my answer. She continued insisting. Finally, I went full bore, telling her that as a woman, I'm not sure why she didn't understand the concept that it's my body and my answer is no. I actually said to her, "No means no."I told her if she did this one more time, I would most certainly update my review to include this fact. And since you're reading this, you can guess: She continued. In fact, so did other staff when I went to pick up the refund. The injector I saw came out and handed me an envelope with a check. She again asked repeatedly to provide other services or a touch up. I repeated my consent speech. She ignored me, asked what she could do to make it right. She wanted to smooth things over with me. She wanted me to do something about my Yelp review. I finally disentangled myself. But I felt awful. Even after openly telling the injector that all I wanted was to be acknowledged, to receive an actual apology, she repeated the gaslighting rhetoric about how she thought my eyes looked better. Personally, I liked my face better when you could see my lower eyelid. Half the reason I get botox is for the lift. It was maddening. Seriously. It felt exactly like arguing with a drunk boyfriend. I just wanted it to end, you know? I don't want to sit here and admit I wanted cheaper Botox. I don't want to admit I got bad Botox as a result. I don't want to admit that you can't see my lower eyelid anymore. I don't want to admit how wildly insecure I feel as a result of that. All I wanted to do was get the fuck out of this situation and never talk to these people again. I didn't even want to write this. I wanted to forget it and move on. But you know what I want more? For you not to end up this unhappy just because I didn't feel comfortable speaking up. I hope you find it helpful. read more

I went back to have them look at it and was told I looked like I just had gained weight everywhere! What?? Yeah I don't think so. Save yourself and your face and bypass any services here! While this is a very nice place with friendly staff -WATCH OUT!!! I know there is no guarantee that a client will get the results promised, but when things go wrong I would expect the company to work with a client to make it right. They offered a credit for more threads! More of something that didn't work! I was told that I would LOVE the results of threads and Botox. Now, almost 2 months after, I see a very minimal amount of improvement and I'm left with basically the same problem areas and puffy, droopy eyelids. The Botox did not give me the lift in my forehead nor did it open up my eyes. Their Botox is undiluted and inexpensive so - "too good to be true!" I would have been pleased with a partial refund. I spent more than I wanted to because of the assurance that I would see an amazing result. BE WARY! read more

Very unprofessional! Not only did I have to wait 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time-TWICE- Due to their lack of service my poor face suffered the consequences-because the injector was late, she asked to do a dental block instead of numbing cream -I thought nothing of it, I've had lots of dental blocking before , been numbed by an injector like that before -well she overfilled my lower face with lidocaine-(my lips weren't even numb!) and did so incorrectly. She created a pocket under my skin . My lower face swelled up like a red balloon . I was told it would be gone by morning -low and behold , it wasn't. In fact it was worse! I understand behind swollen from the filler-never from lidocaine-they tried to cover their ass and say it was "normal".. It's not normal . Not even close . Not only was I swollen (still am) but they completely changed the shape of my face . Horrible! I wanted to cry (still do) Told me to ice it, take Benadryl. It did nothing. Days ... 6 days later I go in to see my doctor -and guess what?!?? I now have an infection under my skin from her inadequate dental blocking -cellulitis. I asked my primary care doctor if this was Infact "normal " as they claimed as Revenge MD-and I'm not surprised -NO ITS NOT NORMAL. The numbness and swelling (which you shouldn't have from a dental block) should have gone away after a couple hours at most. The injector said told me by the next day you will wake up and it will be fine.. well it wasn't .. they played it off . This is my face we are dealing with . They botched me . Then told me it would go away after two weeks , it's totally normal. My face was hot to the touch where the lidocaine sat still in my face. Numb to touch on the outside, and painful when you put pressure on it or rubbed it. They are full of shit. Awful awful awful! Thankful I went to my real doctor and got major antibiotics and steroids. $700 for this ... and do you think they refund you money? Nope. people beware!!! Do your research!! The receptionist up front was less then accommodating too -RUDE .. the office is dirty and dated . You should take care of your clients . Never again!! It pays to go to a REAL injector at a plastic surgeons office. Take it from me, they ruined my face! read more
