I ordered "That Cucumber Drink," and it was absolutely delicious--fresh, refreshing, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice from the Tajín rim. I also had the Texican Rolls, and they were outstanding. What I appreciated most was the atmosphere. The crowd was a great mix of people--some dressed casually, others coming from work in suits, and a few dressed up for a night out. Everyone seemed comfortable, and the vibe was relaxed, friendly, and inviting. It felt like the kind of neighborhood place where regulars know each other, but newcomers are welcomed too.

My friend ordered the Lavender Cucumber Collin's. This drink didn't really put the lavender on the forefront which lead to it getting lost by the cucumber, same for the crème de violets, absent. The drink was overall refreshing and tasty to her standards. She let me know it was quite strong also, which she prefers. She also ordered the kale Caesar and really enjoyed it. It was perfectly sauced to her liking. Service was okay. Looks like there was only 2 people working for a midday shift around 2 o clock. But no complaints. Salad and drinks came out pretty quickly. The place was pretty empty, definitely looks like I could hold a nice little crowd. Overall a solid 4 stars and warrants a repeat visit so I can try out the food and appetizers.

There were a number of cheeses, meats, fruit, olives, crackers, jam, and dried corn snacks. With the happy hour prices this is definitely a great value and a nice option to snack on with a group while enjoying some drinks. My only issue with Botonica is the parking. There is some street parking out front which can be hit or miss depending on what time you visit. You can also utilize the neighboring SkyHouse valet for $10 per their website. Uber might be your best bet.
