I have been to this salon many, many times and each time I have been pleased with my manicure and pedicure. I am a regular at this salon and come every 3-4 weeks or so to get my nails done, but this experience has changed this. The service was unlike anything I have ever experienced.
Today, I called Revamp to notify them that I would be late for my 3:30 appointment that was for me, my daughter, and a friend (so me +2). The man who answered the phone kept insisting that I had no appointment initially, even though I had a proof of appointment from Wednesday when I made it. I dismissed this as a mistake and kindly asked to speak to another representative at the salon. This woman did not seem to understand me (her English was poor) and proceeded to tell me I had no appointment for today. Since I was to be late, I just asked for a later time in the day when they could attend to three people. The lady scheduled me, my daughter, and my friend under my name + 2 for 5:00.
When I was parking the car ten minutes prior to my appointment, I sent my daughter into the salon to notify them that we were parking the car. She was told that there was no appointment for today, although we had scheduled one on Wednesday and even rescheduled one for today. My daughter said she clarified with the people that there was an appointment for three people under my name + 2 at 5:00 and then chose her colors and began her pedicure. My name was even in their appointment book. When I got inside the salon and notified them that I was there for my 5:00 appointment, they told me that I did not have one. You would think that a phone call and my daughter's clarification would have gotten through to them, but they continued to insist that we had no appointment. I had a proof of the call to the salon on my phone, yet they still refused to serve my friend and I. I calmly explained to them that I had an appointment for 3:30 and then two hours earlier, they had rescheduled the appointment to 5:00 on the same day. These were the people I spoke to just two hours ago, but they had no recollection of this phone call. The two spoke poor English (even though they were the ones in charge of making appointments), which made communicating with them even harder. I motioned towards my daughter who was getting her pedicure done and told them that she was in my appointment, yet they just looked at me clueless.
They finally told me that they had no room for my friend and I and that we would have to come another time, even though there were two seats open and we had an appointment. I saw the lady I was talking to seat someone in the pedicure chair who was there early for her 5:30 appointment, and that made me speechless. They had no room for me and my friend (who had appointments!!), but they could serve someone who was there a half hour early for her appointment. This is ridiculous.
They finally put my friend in a chair to get her pedicure done (twenty minutes later) and I was so upset, that said I would come another time when my regular person would be there. After a long week, I was very excited to unwind and get my nails done, but this experience ruined my day. I ended up paying for a manicure and pedicure for my daughter and my friend (it was her birthday) and having no manicure or pedicure for myself. They did not even have the curtesy to give us a discount after they put us through all of that trouble.
The customer service at Revamp today was awful and I am very disappointed. read more
