Our local Motorsports garage ordered parts to rebuild my son's CanAm. After 3 months, we're finally down to a gasket, which REV6 has shipped 3 times already. The first time, they shipped it to another state. The second time, they shipped the wrong gasket. The third time, they shipped it back to the same wrong location as the first error. It would be comical if it wasn't so frustrating! You call and you get the frontline customer service representative who knows nothing, tells you nothing and is condescending. We asked to speak with her manager and she replied, "I'll see if he'll call you back". This has taken so much of our time that I believe REV6 needs to be paying us now. Absolute worst motor purchase of my life. I'm on motor 4 from original purchase. They have extended warranties twice blah blah blah Blown head gasket at about break in, found the head studs all installed at different heights. Head deck has scratches and nicks in it, Wont ever recommend or order another from them. Not the best choice for engine rebuild. I sent them a raptor 700r motor and it came back with issues. Luckily, upon receiving the motor back, I took it to my shop to reinstall. I found the following issues : Timing chain not aligned correctly, intake and exhaust valves were not within specs, sent the incorrect gasket kit to re-assemble the "turn key" parts were missing /removed. I'm truly worried that the internals are just as bad of an install. I paid for a rebuild around $6500 with stage 2 cam and high compression piston (****) From what the rebuild shop is showing me I'm fairly confident it's going to fail internally well within 1 year. (warranty period). The first trip the main block was leaking oil. I pull the engine back out and send it back for the Warrnty. They said they fixed it; However, When I got the engine back and reinstalled it the engine upon the second trip out, the engine was pushing oil out of the breather filter. I called Rev 6 on the issue, and they play it off as it was not a big issue. Third trip the oil ring was pushing oil out of the tailpipes and was burning oil and overheating. I called rev6 again, on the issue and pulled the engine again, sent it back in and staff was not nice about the issue. I ask about how they inspected the engine issue's and how it was performed. They said the oil ring was the wrong spec for the engine. I had to reorder the parts to fix the issue and rebuild the engine myself. I am now on the 4th time of reinstalling this engine. All the pre-trip braking process had been done each time. I will not ever take an engine back to them. Keep in mind this was for a costumer's bike which did keep the bike out of use for over a year. Hence after a year of b***S*** I still was left with no answers and no help in resolving the issues! I've asked for a build sheet so I can tune properly, but was told they only provide those on large $ rebuilds..... Save yourself a headache and use someone else. read more

I ordered a transmission on September 2 and was told I would receive my order in 2 weeks that would be the 16th talked to them on and was moved to the 17th then the the 19th and talked to a manager that had told me it would be shipped the 25th talked to them again after I was told I would be updated and I shouldn't not have to contact them to get updated the should be reaching out to me and keeping me updated they have not done once but now my ordered is suppose to be done the 29th looks like I'm not getting a transmission anytime soon also looking at all the other reviews the quality of work isn't the best either as long as it's taking to get my ordered worried about having issues with the transmission and how much of a hassle it will be to get it fixed don't recommend riding anything from here would have gladly spent more to get my transmission on time and have peace of mind I won't have any issues with the quality of work read more

My Polaris Ranger's One-way Starter bearing went out after 5 years and 13000 miles. I searched and found what I thought was the best alternative to buying the Polaris $270 part. I ordered a $128 rev6sports bearing, installed it and it completely failed in 3 days! I ordered the Polaris bearing and after 3 weeks is still working great. Purchased a Transmission for a Polaris Ranger. Once Transmission was installed it was loud and sounded like a box of rocks in low gear. I called Rev6 and was told this was normal and will get quieter once transmission got broken in. It never lived long enough to get broken in. It failed during the year warranty of me receiving the transmission but they claim the warranty started on the date they shipped the transmission out. We are talking about three days. This Transmission had less then 100 miles on it when it failed. The Machine was just used around my house and to ride dirt roads at the hunting club. My main complaint is after getting the Transmission repaired it failed due to half of the case was wrong and it had a wrong gear and shaft that failed and caused the Transmission to Fail. I called REV6 and explained that they sent me a transmission with improper parts in it and offered to ship them the parts so they could verify the improper parts. All they would say is it's out of warranty. I tried once again to explain i'm not happy about paying for a product that failed due to your company installing incorrect parts but they did not care. I have never wrote a bad review on a company but I hope this keeps someone else from getting screwed by a Company Selling Bad Products and not Stand behind what they sale read more

The ABSOLUTE worst company to deal with. If i could I wouldn't even leave a single star. We purchased a $4,000 Reman motor for our Rzr with an additional purchase for a 2 year Warranty. We received the first motor and the head and the block was not flush on the magneto side, which caused the stator cover to crack , this made us purchase a new cover to fix this. We did the proper break in procedure and didn't even make it through it before it blew up. With 12 hours on it and a fresh oil change. RIDICULOUS. I ended up calling and emailing and received the warranty form and made a claim and shipped the motor back. I waited over 2 weeks for them to pick up the motor from FED EX and then they proceeded to lie to me and say they had it when my tracking number and calling FED EX said it was still at the ups warehouse waiting to be picked up. I then called and called and got NO response. My s/o also Called and called and didn't receive nothing . We just wanted to know the status of where the new motor was after not hearing anything and a month of our warranty was wasted due to them, We then got ahold of a lady and wanted to speak about losing an entire months warranty due to REV 6 NOT DOING THEIR JOB. And they never even offered to fix that or give us time back on warranty. They finally sent us our second motor and we put it in , and put in the oils and everything else and realized the oil had ended up all coming out on our brand new garage floor !!! All because REV 6 can't apparently put an engine together properly once again, they never put the seal on the oil plug and now here we are again out even more $$ due to their fuck up. And get this , Once again WE CAN'T GET AHOLD OF ANYONE for weeks on end, and my S/0 finally got someone to answer today and demanded to speak to a manager and without hesitation they said " " we will take a note of your information and someone will call you" LIKE ARE YOU SERIOUS ? I will never recommend this company to anyone, as they build motors like they wipe their ass with super glue. What a fucking joke!!! read more

Took over a month to receive the motor and they then charged me 120 dollars for a damaged pan bolt that my mechanic assured me that it was in normal condition when the core was shipped. They sent out an engine that burned a quart of oil every 65 miles so we sent it back in they accused us of dusting the engine 6300 dollars plus the cost returning the engine. I purchased an ranger 800 engine from this company what an absolute headache I had to deal with. First off it took double the time I was quoted no phone call were returned when I called. All they wanna do is move their products and one it leaves they don't care about the customer. I shipped my core back and took multiple pictures of it prior. A month later I received an email say I wouldn't be getting my core charge back because the internal damage was excessive as well as my clutch breather was cracked.. somehow... but wasn't when it was in my hands. I was told all the pictures were taken and inspected right when the boxes were received and opened. I have a 2011 Polaris ranger 800efi that was smoking and needed rebuilding. I decided that Rev6 seemed reasonable. Big mistake. I shipped to them They rebuilt the motor. I had a new cam installed prior and they told me no need to replace it. Saved $200. I said sure not knowing that there would be no warranty on their rebuild. I received the motor, installed it and within 20 hours it started leaking antifreeze into the oil. Not good. I called and that is when I was told NO WARRANTY. Do not use this company. After many left messages they told me they would not warranty anything. $2000 wasted. read more

Bought a bike from this company and am baffled by the condition after they said their mechanic did a tune up. The bike was posted Tuesday night at 6:00pm. I showed up next day at 8:45am waiting for them to open. I found the bike I had been looking for and I wanted it! They opened at 9 am and I went in and talked to the sales manager. I told him "I am not here to mess around. I will pay in cash today." We agreed on a price and I test drove the bike. I came back from the test drive and said "I will take it and be back with cash." I left, got the cash, came back and paid in full. (Paid in cash to save them money on processing fees) Bike backfired which was a little concerning considering it's fuel injected. Come to find out there were no springs(3) for the exhaust header and muffler which is why it backfired. Bikes chain was rusted and smeared with oil(covering the fact it needs to be replaced). Bikes hand guards were busted up. The rear rim sleeve in between tube and tire was stuck in between the rim and tire bead (big safety concern). Missing 4 screws that hold shroud on bike. They said that that they had ordered the screws, hand guards and springs. I told them I didn't need the hand guards because I was going to put on bark busters and would prefer a chain in which they agreed to order a chain for me. I left my bike at the shop to have them put on the new chain since they should get the chain next day (Thursday) and fix the rim sleeve on rear tire. They don't have a tire machine and have to send it out to get it done. Mechanic said it was a waste of his time. While I was there I gave them a list of parts that I wanted to order (Rekluse, Trail Tech Voyager, skid plate, bark busters, etc). I had to go get my little girl from school and told the parts lady to call me with the total and I would give her my card over the phone. I left and never received the call Wednesday. I waited for a call on Thursday and had not heard from them so I called and they said the parts were going to come in on Friday(parts are next day not two days). I was then asked if I wanted to order the parts I gave them the day before and I told them I had already ordered them from another company. With the lack of communication I was not going to give them anymore money. I just spent thousands on a bike and couldn't get a call back to give them more of my money. I went and picked up my bike without new chain and tire issue, missing screws and springs. I received a call from the sales guy on Friday that my chain was in and could come get it in which I did. Upon getting the bike home I pulled off air box to look at air filter and it was never cleaned(super important). Some bolts on bike were not tightened. On the positive side bikes oil was changed so I guess that's what they call a tune up. Four weeks later and I still have not received a call about the screws and springs, was left to fix the tire sleeve myself. Not that it matters now because I have already put on the springs and screws(more money out of my pocket). Front Fork seals are leaking now as well. More money out of pocket! The only thing positive was the sales guy. Sales guy was nice and the only one to call back or have any communication. In my eyes the bike should not have been posted with missing screws, springs and rear sleeve sticking out of the tire unless they just sell product that is not ready to ride and unsafe! read more

ordered a built turbo S more motor. within 300 miles the head gasket went out on it. upon inspecting motor, camshafts and mating services were all scored due to pieces of Scotch-Brite in the head. I sent motor back to be rebuilt with warranty. I received new motor with head bolts, when old motor had head studs. Upon having a local shop and investigate more on the motor the motor seem to be a factory motor and none of the parts that I had originally purchased. We installed in that motor so now this is the second mess up and have to send the brand new motor back. Called rev six to see why they didn't build it the way it should have been. was told that they would get back to me shortly about the matter never heard from them. Called again and said that they would know by the end of the day never heard back. called the next day to speak to manager and or owner. waiting to hear back. Never got a clear answer as to why it was not built properly. I am currently out $2000 that I had paid the UTV shop since now they are waiting even more time to ship the second motor back. I called Rev 6 again to see if they would reimburse me for the labor for the time being and they said no not until everything is finished so now I'm out several thousands of dollars for several weeks until they can figure out how to build a motor properly. This is the kind of service you get when you pay for the $600 extended warranty. Thanks rev 6. Not a reputable company what so ever. Tried asking to talk to the owner or manager several times and would never get a straight answer and never got to talk to the manager or owner. I'll never recommend anyone to this company. Save your money a little more and go with someone a little more exspensive like a D&M block or a factory Polaris motor. I understand things happen but don't understand what takes so long to make a phone call or go talk to one of the engine builders to see why they didn't build it properly and inform the customer ASAP on what they will do for them as far as sending out head studs or shipping motor back ASAP to get it built the proper way. Wow. Working on a polaris sportsman for a local rancher and he had motor replaced about a year ago with rebuilt 700 from Rev 6 that was constantly drinking engine oil and blowing oil out exhaust, spark plugs completely gummed up with oil deposits. So i removed motor and Rev 6 agreed to exchange motor under warranty. Next rebuilt motor received and after timing gears and all covers reinstalled and while attempting to install push rods and rocker arms to find one lifter was installed upside down. So we sent the motor back and received another complete rebuilt motor. This motor has 2 lifters completely out and one jammed sideways under other loose lifter. They say must be from shipping but there is not one bit of damage to shipping box. I am worried what condition any motor from this company will be in to reinstall in this quad. Recommend your engine rebuild from elsewhere as we are wrokkng on 3 months just trying to get this motor back in this quad. read more

I called them and they told me it would be another 3 weeks !!! They never planned on letting me know any info on the delay. I canceled my order and I bought a motor from Ground Pounding Motors and they're shipping me one in 2 days !! Take your business to Ground Pounding Motors !!! The worst company to deal with, I purchased a engine overhaul kit. it was found during the rebuild they had shipped the incorrect crankshaft for the engine. I was told that I would be required to return the incorrect item at my expense and they would inspect item upon return and if deemed their error would ship out a replacement, I sent them pictures clearly showing the incorrect part that they provided, They were unwilling to have the item picked and ship out the correct item. They advised i would be required to pay to have the item returned and then they would reimburse and after inspection if it was determined they made a error, ship the correct one. In the meanwhile I have a SxS torn to apart and they take zero responsibility for the error. I dont believe they will credit me back the shipping cost and suspect if I will ever receive the correct parts i already bough and paid for. Their customer service is horrible, you are not allowed to speak to a supervisor, Its unfortunate that I have to give them even 1 star read more

Chalk me up to another happy customer. Rented twice from them in 2 weeks and both times were quick and friendly in and out. The first time I rented a smoking dirt bike and they provided me a trailer too (you gotta ask ahead of time). Get the thing home and my buddies ATV wouldn't start for anything. Back down I go to Springville I go and they were great about giving me credit for another rental. Came back next week and they provided me with a totally different bike that was just as amazing. They keep their stuff in great shape and expect it to come back the same. It's a bit of a hike from Salt Lake but it's a straight shot down I15 and they are right off exit 260. Can't wait to rent a boat. My kids are bugging the heck out of me now. :) read more
