I went here for the first time today and can say I had a fantastic experience! Kate really took her time with my hair, beard and gave me the best haircut I've had in years... no exaggeration! Go here, they are awesome read more

Ash really helped me try out a new style. She was really conservative and that helped so much. If I had chosen to cut more hair it would have been a disaster. The people here are neat and take a lot of time with their clients! read more

Just got a great beard trim from Ace! Excellent barber shop - this has to be one of the best in Austin. I'll definitely be back!

Welcoming neighborhood barber shop. Called the day before to get a full haircut. I hadn't had one since before the pandemic and wanted to shed the weight of all that hair. This is a call ahead place. They have online scheduling and some same day openings as well. But if you're not sure, call and they'll get you sorted. Services are listed on the site as well. They're not exactly budget, but pretty inexpensive considering some other options in town. They do seem to be comfortable with wavy/curly hair. read more

ACE IS THE PLACEAdin is an Ace pitcher while your in her barber stool. The whole place set me at ease. Peace of mind and courtesy is my experience every time. True story. And sometimes I don't show up But in all brutal honesty I'm grateful for the people that make things happen at Reunion Barbershop read more

So I live not too far away from Reunion and recently had the pleasure of their new barber Maribel (Mari) working on my hair. She's a true professional who really cares about her clients and wants to make things perfect. She's still learning, but she did an amazing job and I'll definitely be using her services again. I really like the laid back vibe of the shop and it's great to support a truly local business. Go check it out and ask for Mari! read more

Reunion barbershop - Nice style job by Maribel. - Barbers Near Me - Austin, Texas

The whole Reunion Barbershop experience was fun and a total breeze! Their online booking system is quick, easy + user friendly. They have parking readily available. Huge plus points for the BLM bench outside the shop!! The precautions they were taking for Covid-19 made me feel incredibly safe and cared for. As for Ace, she was so warm and welcoming. I went from long mermaid hair to a short girl fade and I absolutely LOVE it! She made me feel so comfortable and listened to my vision. Then she worked her magic and had me laughing the whole time. The shop itself is retro, fun + all around great vibes. I loved having the opportunity to support a local woman owned business. I can't wait to go back! read more

I followed Monse here from Birds, and I'm glad I did, because 1) she's simply the best and cuts my hair like a super pro, and, 2) this new female-owned barbershop is cute AF and I love it. Great prices. LGBTQIA and BIPOC friendly (and supportive). You can book THREE MONTHS OUT via their website. Looks like you need a haircut. You should go here. read more

Reunion barbershop - Front of shop - Barbers Near Me - Austin, Texas

Everyone at Reunion is so wonderful-- my husband, son, and daughter have been going for years but after my cut today with Cole, I can officially say we are an exclusively Reunion family. Ace is amazing and has given my daughter the coolest wolf cut, and she is so patient with my son who started hair cuts with her in toddlerhood and now absolutely loves going to the shop. Cole typically cuts my hub's hair (handsome pompadour), but today I saw Cole had a random opening and saw it as a sign. I have quite long hair and I'm really wanting to get away from heat styling, but I tend to look just disheveled when I don't heat style. I came in with air dried hair, Cole gave me dry cut that highlighted my mild waves perfectly and then just a little dab of the Suavecita Argan oil and holy moly this is the best haircut and style I've ever had. And they didn't have to flat iron or curl or use tons of products to achieve it. I've even taken a nap on it when I went home, and it was still perfect afterwards ‍ Thanks so much Cole, you are truly talented!! read more

Samaia is a true professional! She did an excellent job with my 2 boys. Just showed her a picture and she went to work! So happy with the results! We moved here from LA and now we've found out new barbershop! read more

This has to be my favorite barbershop I have been to yet. I have never felt more comfortable and they really listen to what you want. The staff is very friendly and the online booking system works amazingly. I have been here twice and I have always left loving my hair. I also loved that after my first visit, they remembered me and exactly what I did to my hair. That quality in a staff deserves 5 stars in itself. I will say, do not come expecting the most perfect fade ever (if that's your thing), but they get the job done if you ask for one. Will definitely come back whenever I need my next haircut. If you do end up coming here, just know you will be falling in love. read more

Ace did an amazing job with my hair. I completely trusted her judgement because I wanted a short haircut but have a pear shaped face which can difficult to do. Everyone was kind and inviting and was an overall great atmosphere. Will definitely return! read more

I have been getting my hair cut at Reunion Barbershop since opening and have to say I always leave with a great hair cut and a big smile. Ace knows her way around every style and type of hair. When I wanted long hair she helped me shape it, when I went short she cleaned it up! There is also no forced awkward small talk. My hair cuts fly by with real conversation and nothing but good vibes. Won't get my hair cut anywhere else read more

Ace is fantastic! No longer do I have to cut my own hair because I just feel welcomed and relaxed here. Love the hot towel treatments, options and flexibility. Easy location to get to and very comfy barber chairs too. Love them! read more

This place is awesome. I followed Monse and Ace here from Birds, and I cannot imagine a better shop to go to. Monse has been my go to barber for years now, and to say that she is talented is an understatement. Ace has a created an amazing barbershop. The shop is charming, and what I love most about Reunion Barbershop is that the women have a passion for what they do. This is their art. You can sense the teamwork and the friendship the second you walk in the door. Reunion Barbershop has everything someone could need from a barber. From a haircut (and a dope fade), to touching up my gray hair, and cleaning up my eyebrows... Reunion has it all. After being secluded in quarantine for the last 5-6 months, I felt great walking out of there tonight. read more

The shop had a great vibe to it that I loved! Samaia did an awesome job on both my hair and beard and had me out of there in great time!

Monse was my barber. First time visitor and will definitely be back. Atmosphere of the location is real relaxed with good vibes all around. The synergy between everyone makes it feel very comfortable and the equipment / upkeep of the location is very maintained. I chose this location out of other suggestions because of the online booking system. Real easy, clean and simple to use whether you prepay or pay on site. Was easily able to navigate, select my time and the options were easy to understand. Location is easy to get to and parking is great. I missed the woman's name at the front desk, but she was very personable, polite and welcoming as was everyone else without feeling pushy or artificial. I have a strange combination of curly African hair that grows in an odd direction. Later on I'll get a real haircut, but the buzzcut w/ the head massage treatment (easily found on their website) was excellent. Monse is excellent with a straight razor and the first person I've had to use it properly. Other places I've visited either don't prep your skin correctly or make the shaving zone feel tender and painful. Really surprised more barbers don't wash your hair AFTER like this location does. She also made sure to keep checking in on if the towel and water were too hot for me. I'd say if you have African hair or need a good haircut don't pass this place up. Austin is fairly liberal, so if you're from out of town or more conservative don't let the LGBT, female owned, etc vibes dissuade you from coming here. Just don't bring in a bad or impatient attitude because this is a real chill gem of North Austin. read more

Since I had been in Austin for the past 5 years, I had bounced around from shop to shop looking for the right person to give me the exact cut I wanted. More recently for the past two years, I went back to my mohawk and as I had gotten comfortable with one person they unfortunately moved away. I met Ace at her previous shop and from the first cut, I knew she was going to be my go to person. She is extremely personable and really takes her time to make sure you leave with a cut you sat in her chair for. It was a treat to see she has her own spot now and I know she is going to have many satisfied customers here. read more

I can't say enough good things about Ace and Monse. The vibe in this place is like something out of a movie the music is great the barbers are always laughing and having a great time. I have been in once a month since they opened and haven't had a bad experience yet. Both barbers I have been to there are experts who have cut my hair exactly the way I wanted in a super timely fashion. Honestly with a place like this I don't know why anyone would bother to go to Supercuts, Finleys didn't respect my time Floyd's didn't cut my hair the way I wanted. I will go to reunion barbershop for as long as Ace and Monse work there. read more

I cannot say, or hype up this barbershop enough. I spent years walking around with okay-ish haircuts and visiting stylists and barbers who did not listen. Ace listens, and takes the time to make your hair look it's best. I always walk out of this shop feeling like a million bucks with great haircut. read more

I've been a client of Monse's for about 2 or 3 years now? She's the best stylist ever!!!!! I don't trust anyone else with my hair but her. She makes me look my absolute best!!!! She's so kind and friendly, so I'm sticking with Reunion Barbershop for as long as Monse works there. Thank you Reunion Barbershop and Monse ‍ read more

I recently cut all of my relaxed hair off and needed to have it "cleaned up". Since I'm an African American female and always had long hair, I'd never been to a barbershop before nor did I know what to expect/ask for. Ace was VERY welcoming and helpful. I showed her a picture of what I was going for and she talked me through the whole process, making sure we were always on the same page with what she was doing and what I was wanting. The shop itself is very clean and comfortable. It's got a real laid back vibe that immediately made me feel at home. I will definitely be going back!! Thanks, Ace!! read more

I recently cut all my hair off and just wasn't feeling the shape of my pixie. My best friend recommended Ace, so I decided to give her a shot. Ace is amazing! She really listened to my likes/dislikes and took into account the esthetic I was going for. I couldn't be happier, I love my cut now and will definitely be returning. read more

I was so happy with my experience with Ace at Reunion! I was very worried about going in to any barbershop since Covid hit, so all of the extra precautions she took to ensure my safety and peace of mind were really appreciated. I was the only customer in the shop besides Ace, and it reduced my stress level so much! Plus, I got a great haircut! Totally recommending to all of my friends, especially those who are nervous about being out in public right now. read more
