What a cool place for a haircut! Play pool or shuffleboard while you wait. This location does take appointments or you can wait. The shop itself is exceptionally clean, open, airy, and modern. Very comfortable seats and a number of hair care folks to minimize any wait time whatsoever. This location will accommodate unisex haircuts. Using trimmers with a vacuum you walk out without nare a hair on you! The receptionist and the hair professionals are both exceptionally pleasant. My hair care professional had been cutting hair for over 30 years and was able to help straighten up a little bit of a mess that I brought in to get fixed. We came because my son wanted a hair cut there. That said we were not allowed inside. Dogs or puppies. Sorry to say this is an arrogant self entitled establishment. She was calm and sweet and we were told to leave and that dogs were not allowed. NOT A DOG friendly establishment. read more

This is definitely my new Barbershop. I've tried quite a few since moving here this summer and this was by far the best experience I've had all around. Nik was great. Did a very nice high fade and was quick(probably 10-15 minutes). And was personable the entire time. Appointment was easy to schedule and I got in that same day less than 2 hours out. All-in-all I was more than pleased with the first experience and will absolutely be coming back. read more

I stopped by for a quick hair cut and I told her ( an older lady that sits in the corner ) what I wanted. very basic - a mid taper bald fade and to take a little off the length of my mullet and she did not fade me. she did a 1 on the sides ... and took inches off everything. She also cut me off while explaining what I wanted. she also seemed really out of it lol. Its just hair to itll grow back however I have never received a terrible haircut like that one before. I'm going to go somewhere else to fix it and I don't suggest going with that lady. I spent months growing out my mullet , it's a shame she cut all of it off. read more

Wow, after going to this barbershop for about 2 years, I came to realize they are not worth my business. The owner who has seen me many times has never once smiled at me, said hello, or said "thank you" not even once. But today was the day I decided to upgrade my barbershop and go to a better establishment. Why??? After waiting about 30 mins for my barber to finish with the previous guy, he disappears. I waited 15 mins because everyone desires a break, but he didn't return. So I got up to leave and told the guy up at the reception it wasn't cool for the barber to take such a long break when people are waiting! He says to me "well everyone has to stop and take a lunch"! Really? Lunch? Why didn't he tell me that in the first place? I would have asked for someone else or comeback at another time. I am a really busy health professional and I work long shifts. I value my off time and do not have time to wait on someone that is out to lunch without me being told they would be going to lunch while I'm waiting. This is Austin and there are other barbershops all over town and I will find someplace that values professionalism and protectively guards their brand. read more

Do not go here if you are on the younger side, teen - 21. Whatever you do, don't ask them to touch the top because I promise you they will take off way more than you want. Asked for a little off the top and got way, way, way more than a little. The barbers are on the older side so if you are looking to get a burst fade, do NOT come here because they don't have a single clue what that is nor how to cut it. Danny's has been my goto barbershop for almost a year and I love the place. My wife even came in and waited for me once and was really impressed. It's clean, I enjoy the camaraderie among the barbers and really like talking to my barber. I gave 5 stars when it should be a 4.9. Danny's has a good website. Nice barbershop. Owner is nice but obviously likes to talk about himself a little too much. That one review about his wife calling muslims ragheads kinda turned me off but i decided to try it anyway. Not impressed with the "vibe" they give off. It was an uncomfortable feeling in there. The people make me feel like i should be honored to be there as opposed to being humble and making me feel welcome and showing me appreciation for my business. My boys loved this place. It is not your usual barbershop or discount hair cuttery. They have games and use special equipment that my boys thought was fun. My son said he doesn't want to go back to his regular stylist, I wasn't very happy with the cut, so back to the stylist I like for him. Four stars for atmosphere and my son's assessment. read more

My first visit went very well! I've been in a classic mood lately, and I kinda wanted to visit an old timey barbershop and get a cut by a dapper gentleman, just because. As it turns out, I got my wish! I went in and was greeted by the friendly Cassidy, who directed me to 'Pops.' I thought I misheard her, but sure enough, there was a dapper old gentleman! Pops is a very cool guy, and he cut my hair exactly like I wanted it. Shaved on the sides and back, with a nice slick side-part on top. He took his time with it, and it looked great. The seats were comfortable leather, and the place was very open and relaxing. For 20 bucks, I thought it was a great experience! I got to talking with Pops. He served 22 years in the Army, being honorably discharged with the rank of Master Sergeant. He was drafted into Vietnam, which he didn't speak much about, and then served as watch guard on the German border during the Cold War, which he spoke at length about. He has some very interesting stories and recollections (some funny, some sobering), so if you like history at all, you'll really like him. Danny's definitely has that old school charm, while providing more modern amenities like football on big screen TVs. They've also got shuffleboard and some other games for people to play while they wait. I'll definitely be coming here for my next cut! read more

Doesn't use gloves in the midst of covid. Advertises straight razor shaves but then refuses them because of covid. Isn't that what the mask and gloves are for? Oh wait that's right you don't use gloves. Any respectable barber shop should use gloves regardless when dealing with straight razors. These reviews are overhyped and typical of an area who isn't familiar with what a proper barber shop is. Don't believe the hype. read more

This shop is top notch. My son has think course curly hair and they are able to mangle through and give him a nice finished piece of art. This is our go to location. Dannys has many chairs which is nice so you dont have a long wait or I have never have been asked to come back at a later time like other Barbershops in Cedar Park. My 15 year old is super picky but, no matter what Barber we get he is pleased with anyone which is the Best. The place is super clean and even has a friendly greeter dressed super nice. There are also old school Barbers along with New. T.V.s and some games are there to keep all entertained along with your friendly Barber Banter. Prices are not outrageous which is great for this Mom. Parking is easy and it is also located near a streetlight which helps with all the increasing traffic in Cedar Park. 2 times in a row I've received a bad beard trim from this place. I asked him to form it up. And they butchered my face down to 1/4 inch. When I had a long beard. . It is the place right around the corner from the house. So I decided to give him a third try asked. For an appointment with their best beard guy. . Once again, I got a horrible beard cut. I have gaps on one side and lots of height difference. I decided to call a manager and talk to him about it today and went to tell him he lost a customer. All's I got was okay. Have a good day. Best barber shop in the ATX!! My only regret is I hadn't found Danny, Nikki, Pops and Jerry sooner. When I arrive for a haircut, I am treated like family. Write my name on the clip board, relax for a moment in the super luxurious lounge area and before I know it, I am in the chair getting top notch service.
