She asked how and why they mess it up and I told her because they cut it too short and she proceeded to cut my hair buzz cut short and as fucked up as possible. I scheduled my appointment on the Bookey app. paid a deposit which I didn't mind at all. It wasn't something I had ever done before. I was running late for my son's appt, and I called to let the shop know because I was worried, I would need to reschedule since business hours ended at 6pm. The owner Nick said, "No worries still come in." Nick welcomed us right when we walked into the door. There are two entrances to the parking lot. One in front of the shop, and one at the backside of the shop. The shop has a unique decoration style which I loved. I felt right at home! The shop was clean and well taken care of. Nick was friendly, and very professional. He asked for permission to video my son's haircut. I did not mind at all. My son is in the process of starting 360 waves. Nick educated us both on how often he should wash his hair, and the organic product that he used for moisturizing the scalp. Nick does work in fast pace, but the reaction I got from my son once his hair cut was complete made my entire day! My son has never been so happy and he held his head high with confidence. Stumbled upon Dapper Barbershop when in need of a haircut, and the first place I tried was closed…read more Dapper closed in 40 minutes, but Mr. Kim took me as a walk-in and gave a great scissor cut. The cut was even, and the edges cleaned by straight razor. The chairs are nice, gold chrome and black leather. They had good music; I remember hearing Bone and Shaggy. Also, it looks like they offer beer, spirits, and soft drinks if you get there early. I also appreciated the diversity here. Will be back next time!

This is the first time in seven years I was looking for someone new to cut my hair. I'm particular about my hair since I was on TV for so long and my hair had grown very long after months of coming home to take care of my family. I surfed Yelp and found not a hair cutting business in Georgetown but a MAN who has a calling to be a barber and has moved to a couple of locations to do what he is born to do. Pablo is not ashamed to profess he is a Christian on Yelp and I like that. But don't worry if you don't dig his beliefs you won't be beaten over the head with a sermon during the cut. You will, however, love what he does to the top of your head. No pictures of chairs on his YELP page. No pics of scissors or hair products. This man just cuts hair perfectly where he is. My previous stylist was a woman who started with the scissors front to back before this. Pablo is a man of the clippers. Right of the back, I felt him running the clippers up the back of my neck first, saw hair falling on the cape and thought, "Oh, S." He used the clippers up my sides. Then, Pablo took about three minutes on the top with scissors. I texted my GF with a picture after the cut and for the first time in ever she replied "OMG! Awesome!" And she was right. Killer cut. The stylist replied "I can trim, I don't know anything else" ???!!!!!. That's brilliant for a place that brags about a service for men's beards. Gigantic "tips appreciated sign" in front of the register. Can't miss it. Is it not enough that there is a tip prompt on the POS device? Not going back.

Their page said to book through Facebook. When I pulled up the reservation system through their Facebook page, Tim (presumably the owner) was booked out for the next few weeks. So, I selected an appointment on a Friday at 11:20 am with the other barber, Aaron Diaz. Received an email confirmation via email shortly after booking online. Great! Within 30 minutes, the barber texted me saying that he was unavailable Friday, March 16th because he would not be in that day (despite it clearly being available for booking on their system). He told me to book for another day that week or the Monday of the next week. While not entirely considerate as I have worked and booked the time I'm available, whatever, I'll figure out another time later. Before I was able to re-book, the next morning, I received another text saying, "Nvm Justin. I'll be available Friday morning. Sorry for the confusion." Great! I think, that's the time that works best for me since its lunchtime on Friday and easy for me to get off for work. Flash forward to Friday, I drove 20 min. into the square and walk into the barber shop, only to find one chair occupied. I told the barber (presumably Tim), that I was there for a 11:20 appointment. I got a dumbstruck look, and a confused "huh?" The barber then asked if my appointment was with Aaron, I confirmed, yes, he told me he would be here. All I get back from the owner was a no, he's not here today, he's out of town - you should text him. I did indeed text him, saying that I had arrived, he wasn't there, and before i drove back, would check to make sure he was in fact not there. The response I got back was simply that he "try to make it work for Friday but it was really hard." Awesome, I'm glad it was "hard," but maybe let the guy you told to come know before he shows up? Or maybe the business just doesn't believe in common curtsey. Cool! So now I've wasted about an hour of time coming to your shop, when your employee told me to be here for a haircut and all you have to say is - go away, he's not here. Great business practice! Maybe if you're booking directly with Tim come here, he seems to have great service for those he is serving. However, if you're booking for anyone else at his barber shop, steer clear. He doesn't seem to care about the service they provide even if they are booked under his business' name.
