Been going here for a few months to see Johnny Martinez for me and my son. Always a good cut and beard trim!!

Genuinely the worst haircut and service I have ever gotten. Not sure her name but the lady who brings her dachshund, absolutely horrible. Asked for a little trim, showed her a picture, and told her I never get my haircut because they always mess it up. She asked how and why they mess it up and I told her because they cut it too short and she proceeded to cut my hair buzz cut short and as fucked up as possible. I never write reviews but I have never so disappointed with a haircut or service. Zero stars, would not ever recommend Georgetown barber shop. read more

Took my 2 year old for his first "big boy" haircut and we're so happy with the results! Savannah was amazing with him and she did a wonderful job. We will definitely be coming back! read more

Georgetown Barbershop - Barbers Near Me - Georgetown, Texas

if I could give a 0 star I would. the service is awful no one checks in to fit your needs and overpriced for mid barbers.

Visiting from out of town, and they got me in. I was pleasantly surprised at the terrific job. Some barbers are better than others. Some I'll never go back to. I'll be back here next time I'm in Austin! read more

Great place, was a walk in and was seated relatively quickly. First time here and Jared gave me a great haircut! I have an older picture of the way I like my cut, Jared was able to recreate the look. The price was outstanding as well. It's definitely better to make an appointment first. Friendly people and great service read more

Another 5* review for my cut by Esin. I came in 15 minutes prior to my appointment and she immediately sat me. She asked how I was, and got to work. This woman is a master of her craft. Thanks again, I'll be back when the weeds need trimmin' again!! read more

Wonderful experience. Quality, friendly service. Shop owner cut my hair and did an awesome job with the fade. Her experience showed! Will certainly be back. read more

This is great place that has an old school barber shop feel. I take my teenage sons one has short hair one longer wavy hair. I always call ahead and make an appointment. read more

Do not go to Pablo. Let me start off by saying he can cut hair well, BUT he asked me to go to wagabag to get cash because he has 6 kids. When I didn't do so, because I would be charged bank and store withdrawal fees, he charged an additional $5 onto my card. Completely unacceptable. I usually just go to whoever is first available, but I won't make that mistake again. The two girls I've went to before have been fine. This is no dig on the place itself, but an unacceptable work practice by one individual I'll probably look for somewhere else in the future. Update: 8 months later and this guy is still messaging me and now calling me a liar. Move on dude. read more

Great neighborhood barber shop with warm and capable staff. Looking forward to our next cut! Appointments recommended but they have a sign in sheet if you're willing to wait -- worth it! read more

Finally found a place that will trim my beard. Policy allows you to remove your mask while actually in the chair so if you are looking for a beard and mustache trim this is your place. Jess did a great job on both. read more

Was refused service because I'm a woman and they don't cut women's hair. I was shocked. The person actually said this to me. I'm not looking for a style. I want a hair cut that is buzzed short on the sides and longer on top. Sounds like a man's cut to me. Funny part is the post on their web site women. read more

I'm new in a town, and want to make a good impression. One of the easiest ways is to use my turn signals and have a great looking haircut. The woman at Georgetown definitely helped with the hair. So this place looks like its a repurposed shipping container, but don't let that fool you. The parking is a bit odd as every space say "Reserved." Lastly, only the reason this is NOT getting 5 stars is because when you enter there's no receptionist or someone who lets you know where you are in line. So its a bit confusing, but don't fret, the hairstylists keep really good track of whose next. The pricing is great, and is a really laid back environment. I will be back. A suggestion is to have a chalkboard and people can write their name on it, and erase it when their hair is done. Lastly, having another magazine like GQ, or Sports Illustrated would be a plus... You can only read through so many Men's Journals before they all start to have the same info in them. read more

Best barbershop ever, never had my hair look this good. All of them are great at what they do.

I sent my husband with some very specific directions & pictures as to how to get my 5yo's hair cut. The instructions included a hair trim...less than an inch. he came back with 3-4 inches cut off....despite my husband telling him it was too short while he was in the process of cutting. I wanted them to fix his bangs as they were looking blunt. They didn't even fix his bangs. They cut off all his curls. Do not send your kids here for anything other than a traditional buzz. When I called to complain, they said "we can cut off more." and "it's way busy, I don't even know who you are referring too" and "you should've said something while you were here"..which we did. We will not be going back here. read more

Sorry, the information posted here is wrong. None of the staff are wearing a mask. If that matters to you stay away. In the 6 months, they have only honored/been on time. 1/3 of the appointments I made. The other 2/3 of the time people in front of me.30-40 minutes late. If your time is important to you this is not the place for you. read more

Small wait time, cool vibe inside. Left happy and will definitely go again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great experience with a very friendly staff. It's a 40 minute drive from where I live but I'll continue to go here for my hair cuts. Place is clean and the cut was the best I've had in central Texas. Highly recommend. read more

After years of bad cuts for my boys my brother who has been going to Pablo for 4+ years told me to try him out. We gave him a shot and we were not disappointed. Pablo has now been cutting my boys hair 3 years and now he's trimming up my husbands beard. We will follow Pablo anywhere, you can't beat the service. You know every time it's going to be a good cut! read more

I was a walk in without appointment. Waited about 10 minutes and one of the barbers asked me if I was ready. Sat down, told her how I wanted my hair cut and that is how she did it! No shampoo just sprayed with water which was fine with me. Actually shaved my neck. I will return again as my previous hair cutter retired after 30 years. I was lucky to find an excellent replacement first try. I waited almost a week to post this so I could make sure my cut was as good as first thought. Yes, it is VERY good! Sorry, I cannot remember the young lady's name. She gave me her card but it is at home and we are on vacation for a while! She is cute, blonde, married and has been cutting hair for three years. read more

One of my favorite films is Le mari de la coiffeuse (The Hairdresser's Husband). I've a "thing" for haircuts. Going to a good barber makes me feel good. It adds a little polish/pizzazz to my life. I've always had great experiences/ memories with my barbers and my barber shops over the years. Otto's is gone for good, but I'm happy to see that Victor's is still operating even though Victor is retired and long gone. I still put a touch of Álvarez Gómez on occasion thanks to Victor. A good barber leaves a little bit of them with you for the rest of your life. In the here and now the barber shop that is hitting my sweet balding spot is Georgetown Barber. I've been getting haircuts here since they opened and this group of ladies treat you right. They give the "almost perfect" cut (nothing is perfect), the good chat, local gossip, and the bubbly/ genuine personalities. These ladies make me feel and look good. I like hanging out in their shop. Besides the good cuts Esin has tuned me onto oils, gels, and even razors. Esin was cutting hair in Germany for a long time before coming to Georgetown. She, like the other ladies in the shop, are professionals. I kind of hate writing this review since it might make my wait even a bit longer, but when I was getting my haircut today Esin told me I had cost her a customer and a bad review. I'm the fella Jack P. is talking about in his one star review. I was preparing for a child's birthday party and had asked Esin if she could hold my spot. In my 15 minute absence other folks came in and I'm sorry I caused problems. Didn't mean to. I've also waited in the chairs, reading out of date magazines, during the weekday (when you can make appointments) and was also surprised when someone else popped into the chair when I thought I was next. Best thing you can do is ask when you walk in as folks get busy and sometimes forget when they're giving that great haircut. No one is perfect, but who doesn't want the "almost perfect" haircut? It's worth the wait! read more

I have been going to Georgetown Barbershop for a few years now. Every haircut has been consistent. Now, I like being able to sit in the chair knowing without any direction I am going to get the same great cut. A very positive environment with friendly people. This is the only place my son will consider getting his hair cut. read more

Best Barbershop in Georgetown. Moved here two years ago and tried the others. Hands down the best. All three barbers are great and consistent. Prices are reasonable and atmosphere always great. read more

Georgetown Barbershop is a clean & nice place to get a haircut or beard-trim. Pablo is detail oriented, listens to what you want, and will meticulously do his best & giving you the style you most deserve. If you want a sissy, half-fast beard trim go some place else. If you want a bad-ass trim go see Pablo @ GT Barbershop. I'm glad I do.. read more

Customer service is no good. Don't go here if you want a good fade,They finally have a sign in sheet now instead of you keeping track who next which they did for years, don't understand why they did that. I have sat here for a hour and 20 mins waiting for my hair cut while all the barbers watch me and kept taking other walk in while I'm thinking those ppl that got there after I did had a appt, only to find out they were walk ins and I was just constantly getting skip while the barbers just see me sitting there getting skip, and not even confronting me to ask me anything! Poor management.... read more

Melissa did an amazing job on my son's hair. Nice shop and excellent customer service. Right on time and very thorough.

I'm picky about my haircut. I have very thick, wavy hair, and a cut that looks okay fresh out of the barber chair might be sticking out every which way after my next shampooing. Out of all the barbers I've used, in four different cities over the last fifteen years, Esin is only the third who has never once messed up my haircut. She's the kind of barber who's friendly without ever prying into your life, and the cast of characters who frequent her shop are always entertaining. read more

Okay a little late, first visit 3 weeks ago after moving here to Georgetown. I was referred there with rave recommendation. Well, on point! Mel was awesome, great cut. I'm pretty simple, hair thinning and short. Best high and tight I've had in years. Clearly, fun friendly talented staff, which explains the reviews! This is a shop with personality! read more

Went in for a cut for my son. Staff was nice. , but was good. Support small businesses.

I agree with Jack. Walked in, nobody greets you, out of 3 barbers nobody explained you have to have an appointment or it would be a long wait. There is no number to take or list to sign in. When my son first approached the barber she said her customer was waiting in the car. The second time her shooed him off with her hand and said, "no have an appointment." At that time we had been waiting 1 hour and nobody ever acknowledged us. We left not wanting to give this place our business and who knew how long we would continue to wait. read more

Friendly service and barbers that do not mess around. Whether you have to show a picture of what you want or know exactly what you need before you walk in the door, your self confidence will be through the roof by the time you get to your car knowing you just got a bad ass haircut. Would highly recommend to the old school hard ass or even the tricky hipster, regardless your needs will be met in a timely manner. read more

I've been looking for ten years for a stylist/barber to take over all of my hair cuts. Finally, I found one. I've been going to Georgetown's Barbershop (which is pretty far from where I live) for over a year now and I know without a doubt I would fly from another state just to get my haircut here. The staff is amazing, fun, and kind as well as extremely knowledgeable . These women know what they're doing and well worth the affordable price and much more if you ask me! I'm very passionate about this place and recommend this barbershop to all men that are looking for a classic cut, classic shave, or even if they are wanting to try something new. Go to Georgetown's Barbershop today! You won't be disappointed. read more

Came in with two customers ahead of me, 4-5 entered after me. When it was my turn after 30 minute wait, I was told that a man who just strolled in was ahead of me because he was waiting in the car. Apparently if you have connections, you get special treatment and can wait wherever you want. I will not return!! read more

Essen was wonderful. Great hair cut, beard and mustache trim, shave and massage. She's a fun barber that gets to know you. Conversation never lagged. I'll be back. read more

Nice classic style barbershop & Mel is pretty amazing with scissors. Glad I stopped in here!

First time today to visit the barber shop. Mel you did fantastic job!! Thank you so much. Also Thanks for taking time to plAy with my baby grandson. The best place in Georgetown to get a shave or cut Essen is PERFECT! The other barbers and stylists are good as well. But the pricing is amazing. 20$ for a haircut beard trim straight razor shave of my neck front and back. Great atmosphere like how a barbershop should be fun and enjoyable. read more

The absolute best barber shop I have ever been to. I hope to continue going there for a long time.

Hands down, best haircut I've had in years. Melissa 2 is truly a master of her craft. I'm pretty ordinary looking, but 2 different people complemented me on my haircut later in the day. Also, the parking was ample and convenient. The magazine selection during the wait was current and diverse. The atmosphere is charming and cozy, with literally everyone engaging in friendly banter. Such a good experience that I'll drive from Austin to Georgetown to get my haircut from now on. read more
