I will update my review once I receive the product, but based on the ordering process and interaction with customer service I will not purchase from them again. When I made my initial purchase on 12/15 I got an email stating the my payment for my order failed and to try with a different payment method. The payment for that order in fact did not fail and I had made 2 purchases. I put in a cancellation request that same night and called on the 16th to ensure itd be rectified. 12/19 I emailed and called again unable to reach customer service. I left a voicemail and got no call back. Also on the 19th, I get 2 notices from my bank that 2 charges from retro vgames posted. Today 12/20 I finally get through to customer service just for them to tell me there's nothing they can do and both purchases have been shipped on the 16th, but I was never notified if my product had shipped. I log in to my account to see that they were shipped the 18th, not the 16th. The order should have never been shipped and the initial payment should have never been taken if they told me payment failed AND the cancellation request was put in prior to the offer being fulfilled. Customer service was very dismissive, had inaccurate information, and told me they couldn't see the cancellation request even though they read off of it.... So far poor experience, but I will update if product is received and will see if the order is accurate, products work/quality, and the return process is not a hassle/no cost to me. read more

I ordered a Wii U console bundle from them 3 OEM Wii controllers and a third party Wii U controller. It takes almost a month to arrive. Guess my surprise and irritation when I opened the box to only find the Wii U console and game pad. The Wii U bundle was specifically supposed to come with cords. Then when I go to contact support about it, it takes them 10 days to respond to my help ticket. This place is 10x worse than Dkoladies. I ordered a Gameboy on their website. They have a "color preference" section to pick a color, but it doesn't actually mean you will get the color you selected. The website intentionally makes it look like you have the choice to pick the color, even though you don't. After ordering it, I didn't receive any shipping information. I picked clear purple as my "preference," but got a yellow one. When it arrived without notice that it had even been shipped, it was very poorly packaged. It should have been in a box (which they actually require if you want to return it), but it was in a bubble wrap folder. The package was shipped without the game I ordered with it. When I asked about this, they said they ship the game separately. Once again, I didn't receive any shipping information for the game either. When I inquired about returning, they stated that they have a 10% restocking fee. Their website however, says they "may" have this fee. They refuse to waive the fee. After the cost of shipping and restocking, it will be cheaper for me to sell it myself. I wish I had done a little more research when reviewing the company. I emailed them multiple times with my concerns and it was ignored. I initiated a dispute via my credit card and about 2 weeks later, Hafiz finally responded and claimed that the switch was a mistake. I don't believe it for a minute. He required that I send the controllers back even though they are not worth the price of shipping. Since he provided a prepaid shipping label, I packed them in the same flimsy padded envelope in which I received them, but I was very disappointed that their attempt to scam me resulted in so much of my time being wasted. My experience with Retro vGames has been nothing short of an absolute nightmare, and I am sharing this in hopes of preventing others from falling victim to their deceitful practices. I finally found and ordered Wii Sports Club for my autistic son - a game he cherishes and asked for as one of only two Christmas gifts. After searching extensively online, I found Retro vGames, which appeared reputable with a 4.6-star rating. Little did I know, I was about to be scammed out of $109 and put through the most frustrating customer service experience imaginable. The Scam Unfolds: The website promised 5-7 day shipping, but the package never arrived. Their chat system provided me with a fake tracking number, claiming the package would arrive on January 27th. On the 27th, USPS marked it as "delivered" - yet nothing was received. I contacted their horrendous customer service, and after struggling to understand a heavily-accented representative named "Harry Wilson" (clearly a fake alias), I was given a NEW tracking number that suddenly claimed the package was actually delivered on January 21st. Problem? I have security cameras monitoring all deliveries. There was no package on the 21st. No notifications from USPS. Nothing was delivered. No way of providing a review directly on their fake site - ALL FAKE 5 STAR RATINGS. Their Ridiculous "Resolution" Process - AKA More Scams I was instructed to file a USPS claim and provide a service request number #. Done. No response. I followed up, only to be told to now file a police report. I went through the trouble of filing a report at the police station and sent it to them. Their response? "We will reship and provide a new tracking number." Guess what? So far. No tracking number. No package. No refund. NOTHING. So they aren't testing the products themselves and don't know what is being sent. This will be why you get items shipped separately. They will try to send you the cheapest items they can find. Placed an order for 6 Atari 2600 cartridges, of which I received only 4 (was charged for all 6). Each cartridge was obviously sent from 4 individual sellers with different packaging, handwriting styles, and no return address or invoice. So these guys are pretty obviously drop shipping but they won't tell you that. No response so far from customer service, predictably. Should have checked here first before ordering. Lesson learned.
