Clean, well lit, and organized. Literally, the store is stocked from bottom to top. Whitehall Mall is more of a shopping center then a mall, with most of the stores having external entrances, Comicmasters is located in the small indoor "mall" portion. The shop expanded in early 2021 into previously vacant space and now has a new external entrance. Essentially, they moved all the comics and toys into the new space, and converted the old space into a gaming area. This expansion led to the closing of JAF's second location at the Palmer Park Mall, which had quietly become a standout shop for its new pull selection and $1 book bins. The shop has a good selection of new comic books and graphic novels. They have a fair selection of wall books and collectables. Longbox selection wildly varies. While they do have many, the cheaper boxes are located on the floor, making them hard to comfortably access. I wasn't here for the selection of gaming items, so I can't comment on that part of JAF. Staff have been a strong part of JAF, generally being friendly and helpful. JAF for me is challenging to rate, as the "main" store has always been a little average compared to other local shops. It's worth a stop to browse if in the area but going out of the way to come here would be a question. Overall, JAF is a 3.5, but rounding it up to a 4.

Lehigh Valley Comic Convention now uses two separate venues, as they run at both the Lehigh Carbon…read moreCommunity College and the Allentown Fairgrounds Agri-Plex. The Lehigh Carbon Community College events are smaller but usually have a respectable number of dealers and several guests, with free parking. In 2024, the convention made a major change by having an event at the Allentown Fairgrounds Agri-Plex. This was a badly needed move as prior to this, the convention was feeling stale and running too many events per year at the community college. The Agri-Plex allowed to them to have two large open rooms for vendors, guests, and an on-site food stand. Biggest challenges were the lines to get in as the attendance was larger than expected and crowding at the entrance among the vendors. Vendor selection was good offering a wide variety of comics and toys. For 2025 the convention returned to the Agri-Plex, and had another large crowd with the line to get in still strong even several hours after opening despite the wet weather. There was still enough parking even with the crowd. Layout was largely the same. Comic vendors came in all sizes and price points, with there being everything from quarter book boxes to wall books worth hundreds of dollars. The convention also had guests, display vehicles, and toy vendors. It was an easy event to attend with a low-ticket price and was worth my time. Overall, the Lehigh Valley Comic Convention's event at the Agri-Plex has been a major success and brought needed changes to the convention. While it's not the size of something like FAN EXPO Philadelphia, it's also much cheaper and easier to access. You could bring the family here, get some comic books, eat, and not go bankrupt. The expansion to two days and dates in June for 2026 will be interesting and I look forward to attending.

We have been looking forward to being in the area again so we could visit again. When we walked in we felt right at home. They have over 4 aisles full of long boxes with back issues. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The selection of back issues is fantastic. Although their $1.00 comics are now at $1.50 we were still were able to walk out with over 200 comics and were given a great deal on them. Their walls of New issues is also very impressive and then give a great discount to customers who subscribe with them. We are planning on coming back and going through their aisles of 0.50 and 0.10 cimics Next time. Almost forgot to mention their very large gamers area. Don't miss coming here.

Be aware, that this shop is small, and gets crowded fast if a few people are in it. Shop has a good selection of new pull comics spread around the shop and graphic novels. Fair selection of various collectibles and some longboxes. Normally I wouldn't review a shop like this as it's very average. However, I've almost always walked out of here with at least one comic or pop vinyl. White Dragon is also the best shop in the metro Stroudsburg area for comics, and the best for miles in every direction. For these reasons they deserve a good review.
