Clean, well lit, and organized. Literally, the store is stocked from bottom to top. Whitehall Mall is more of a shopping center then a mall, with most of the stores having external entrances, Comicmasters is located in the small indoor "mall" portion. The indoor portion of the mall was rather dimly lit during our evening visit.

There was a gentleman in there when I was there, that had an intellectual disability and the employee was very good with him and patient. I dont know who decides prices but their back issues are all damaged and the are charging $5-$10 or more for their back issues that are bent , torn, ragged, water damaged and not even for key issues, but issues that are worth 50 cents at best. I looked the other day and an issue of X-men 2099 #20 which is worthless and they had a price sticker on it for $7.95. Save yourself the time and skip this crapfest.

I seriously don't think they own a vacuum or even a broom and dustpan. I'm afraid to imagine the bathroom. I can imagine the owner goes around all week to flea markets and yard sales and buys whatever he thinks he can make a few cents off of and just slaps a sticker on it and chucks it in the store wherever it lands it stays. Tales of Adventure for a few years had fallen to the second tier of the Allentown metro area comic…read moreshops due to the removal of its quality longboxes. In just my last few visits though, Tales has rebounded significantly. The shop is located south of Allentown, in Coopersburg, and shares it's building with two other businesses. The shop has had several configurations over the years but has been stable for a while now. Walking in, you have various gaming items on the right-hand side of the shop and behind glass counters. Wall book selection is good. New pull selection still feels leaner compared to many shops. In the back of the shop is a good selection of graphic novels. Good news! The organized/semi-organized longboxes are back! Boxes are organized by as priced, $5, and $1 books. Most of the worthless $1 90's independent books are gone, replaced by a huge selection of Marvel and some DC. Over my last few visits, organization of these $1 books has drastically improved. Gaming tables are in the back corner and don't affect the ability to search though longboxes, even with several games ongoing. Overall, I'm glad to see Tales of Adventure moving back in the right direction and it's returned to being one of the Allentown metro areas must stop comic book shops.

As far as service there is ONE woman who works the front desk and had been the sole employee I saw until recently. She is polite and does best she can - the store seems understaffed big time. As far as value - if you want to buy comics for your PC sure - may find a couple - if you buy bulk or are looking for deals - its not here. $2 modern raw books is a big pass. Cloud City Games main location has made a big move from Emmaus to the Lehigh Valley Mall in…read moreWhitehall. Shop is located in the JCPenney wing on the second floor, in the former Disney store. Space is large with plenty of room for future growth. Cloud City has a limited selection of new pull comics, but has a large selection of graphic novels. Several bins of longbox comics are located in the center of the shop at various price points. Has some toys and collectables spread throughout the shop. They have a good selection of board gaming and other gaming items. I'm interested to see how this move works out for Cloud City. Lehigh Valley Mall is a good mall with lots of foot traffic. Biggest issue Cloud City has is they are also now in direct competition with the areas highest end comic shop, ComicMasters, which is located in the Whitehall Mall across the street. I'm not sure Cloud City has the product selection to compete. During previous visits at the old location, my friend has often done well in their comic bins, while I did better when they previously had more one-dollar longboxes.
