Clean, well lit, and organized. Literally, the store is stocked from bottom to top. Whitehall Mall is more of a shopping center then a mall, with most of the stores having external entrances, Comicmasters is located in the small indoor "mall" portion. The indoor portion of the mall was rather dimly lit during our evening visit.

There was a gentleman in there when I was there, that had an intellectual disability and the employee was very good with him and patient. I dont know who decides prices but their back issues are all damaged and the are charging $5-$10 or more for their back issues that are bent , torn, ragged, water damaged and not even for key issues, but issues that are worth 50 cents at best. I looked the other day and an issue of X-men 2099 #20 which is worthless and they had a price sticker on it for $7.95. Save yourself the time and skip this crapfest.

We have been looking forward to being in the area again so we could visit again. When we walked in we felt right at home. They have over 4 aisles full of long boxes with back issues. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The selection of back issues is fantastic. Although their $1.00 comics are now at $1.50 we were still were able to walk out with over 200 comics and were given a great deal on them. Their walls of New issues is also very impressive and then give a great discount to customers who subscribe with them. We are planning on coming back and going through their aisles of 0.50 and 0.10 cimics Next time. Almost forgot to mention their very large gamers area. Don't miss coming here.

It has a large selection of comics and mags and comic merch - however it is all overpriced - you can dig and find some OK deals if you have hours to kill. As far as service there is ONE woman who works the front desk and had been the sole employee I saw until recently. She is polite and does best she can - the store seems understaffed big time. As far as value - if you want to buy comics for your PC sure - may find a couple - if you buy bulk or are looking for deals - its not here. $2 modern raw books is a big pass. I have not seen any deals or sales on anything when I have visited. Also when you have $100+ in books pulled to buy and wait for 3 cards people to stop talking to be rung up - its frustrating! Cloud City Games main location has made a big move from Emmaus to the Lehigh Valley Mall in…read moreWhitehall. Shop is located in the JCPenney wing on the second floor, in the former Disney store. Space is large with plenty of room for future growth. Cloud City has a limited selection of new pull comics, but has a large selection of graphic novels. Several bins of longbox comics are located in the center of the shop at various price points. Has some toys and collectables spread throughout the shop. They have a good selection of board gaming and other gaming items. I'm interested to see how this move works out for Cloud City. Lehigh Valley Mall is a good mall with lots of foot traffic. Biggest issue Cloud City has is they are also now in direct competition with the areas highest end comic shop, ComicMasters, which is located in the Whitehall Mall across the street. I'm not sure Cloud City has the product selection to compete. During previous visits at the old location, my friend has often done well in their comic bins, while I did better when they previously had more one-dollar longboxes.

I know prices went up across the board everywhere by 5-10% but theirs went up 20%. Your better off getting your stuff online like amazon or other online gaming stores. Couple Examples: Box of Edge of Eternity MTG at Cloud City $156 / on TCG $134. AMazon $132. D&D mini's Box at Cloud City $29.99 on Amazon $19.99 etc. Save your money and shop online.
