Everyone always wants to call around to find the best contractor for remodeling your bathrooms but if you're looking to just get to the good part, skip all the others and make the call to Eric and Angela at Retro Pro. Why? 1. *They're just good people.* Professional, easy to work with, not pushy and EXTREMELY detail-oriented. 2. *One company.* They don't sub any work out to contractors. Everyone works for Retro Pro - plumbing, drywall, electrical, flooring, tiling - you make 1 call if any issues/questions come up. 3. *Detail oriented.* I am a professional project manager so it's in my nature to want specifics, measurements, plans and answers to my questions. Everyone here gladly shares the details and provides honest assessments. 4. *They're local.* They've been doing this for a long time with nearly a 5-star rating on Google and Yelp. Happy to support local businesses. 5. *Quality staff.* Projects like ours don't get done without people like Omar (project manager) and Oscar. I'm forgetting the tile-guys name! All of these guys are hard workers, friendly and did amazing work for us. We couldn't be happier with the 4 bathrooms they remodeled for us. It was definitely worth the wait! read more

Absolutely would use them again. We got way more than expected with little niches in our showers/bath, barn-shower doors rather than standard sliding frames, and dim lighting. Eric came up with creative ways to rework plumbing to give us extra space. I sent a few Pinterest photos to Angela, who then gave us a few amazing design options. We didn't have to spend anytime researching materials or color schemes. Omar and their installation team was courteous, clean, and talented. They worked diligently and always communicated via text before coming or leaving. Amazing experience all around (and beautiful bathrooms)! read more

READ or your remodel/rebuild could start falling apart like mine: In May of 2011 I hired Retro Pro to do a bathroom remodel and build a small bathroom. It all looked beautiful. BUT the workmanship and skimping on materials was later found to be subpar. I had to replace the entire shower that they built in December of 2014 because the curb going into the shower was level and alot of water ended up outside shower floor. The shower pan also was leaking as well as I had water damage on the base boards in the 2 closets next to the shower. That was only 3 yrs later. Eric the owner of Retro Pro gave me a ton of problems in addressing the issue, he was no help at all and talked to me like I was stupid. He sent guys out to appease me, but it didn't. It only made me madder and they offered no solution and told me the curb should be level. Upon much research I had found out from the City of Mesa they had not drawn permits. NO WONDER EVERYTHING WAS FALLING APART it would never have passed inspection. The City of Mesa made them pay for the permits, etc... I had to have the shower completely redone so they came out and inspected it. The new contractor was amazed that Retro Pro only put down Redguard for the shower pan and no thick plastic liner. It cost me an additional $2k to have that done. That was only 3 yrs after the initial remodel/rebuild was done. Now here it is January 2019 and I shouldn't be surprised! Part of my corner shower shelf tile is falling off the wall. In the pictures you can see that they only did a couple dabs of whatever it is that is used to hold the tiles together. Again showing that they skimped on materials. NOW WAITING FOR TILES TO FALL OFF WALL! Oh, by the way. When the City of Mesa got involved regarding the permits. that is the only time Eric offered to repair the curb, but not the shower. I told him I wouldn't trust him with anything. HE DOESN'T STAND BY HIS WORK because it only has a 2 yr warranty. And my major shower issues was at 3 yrs! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY - AS I SAID WAITING FOR TILES TO FALL OFF WALL NOW! read more

READ THIS or make the mistake of choosing someone else. Retro Pro is fantastic! We interviewed 4 companies up front for a major kitchen renovation - walls & doors removed & added, plus full counter/ cabinet/ floor/ backsplash. Also included new lighting & A/C ducts & moving appliances. Taking 1979 fluorescent lighting & tile counters into 2019. Eric (owner) & Angela (design) got the business because they were honest and timely - the only proposal to come in complete and on time. RetroPro was not the most or least expensive, but definitely the most responsive. The process was very smooth - we made decisions early to get materials on order, and started the work 3 weeks later with a 7 week estimate for completion. They explained every step, and really listened to what we wanted and paid good attention to our style & budget & everything. Eric's proposal for moving things around and making the overzsize pantry into a mud room was very clever. The job started on time, Omar was great with letting us know status, and respecting our home while they worked - kept things as clean as possible. There were a few minor tweaks during the tear down and build up, and the team always explained our options and resolved everything beautifully. Having Angela assist with design decisions on the fly was particularly helpful! We couldn't be happier with the results. On time and no surprises. Hopefully I can post pics with this review. The workmanship and materials are excellent ... and that's expected when you hire a full service contractor to do the work. What was unexpected is finding this gem of a small business with people who are hard working and honest, and really care about what they do. read more

RetroPro is one of the best in the Valley. They are very professional all the way through the project. They are VERY detail-oriented and make sure you get exactly what you want. They help up-front with ideas for design but ultimately enable the homeowner to achieve their vision. The workers are top-notch; they show up at the same time every day, wearing masks, and are very courteous and humble while in your household. I found their work to be reasonably priced for the quality we got! read more

We can't say enough great things about this company! We knew it was going to be a little pricier than some of the competition that came out and give us quotes, but boy was it worth it! Nestor, Eric, Angela & Steve were a dream to work with. Our master bathroom came out perfect! Better than we ever pictured! No detail was spared, from the incredible cleanliness of the crew every day, detailed drawings, beautiful shop to pick out products, to the daily check-in's from The project manager. We would recommend Retro pro to friends and family for sure! read more

In early January of 2023 my wife and I completed a long over-do update and upgrade project on our older, small space (1700 sq ft) home. Our objectives were to de-clutter and modernize the home. The kitchen, family room, guest bath, master bath each were extensively remodeled. The adjoining foyer/hallway refreshed. Each bath and the kitchen/family room were re-modeled in series since we continued to live in the home during the destruction, construction phases. To be clear, while the overall project took approximately a year, the destruction-construction phase occurred in the last 3 1/2 months (elapsed time, the construction team has a 5 day workweek). My wife and I had a steep learning curve at the start. First to define what we wish to accomplish and to develop a concept, next to identify, schedule and vet potential contractors, and finally to select our contractor and finalize with the contractor the details of materials, cabinetry and vanities, shower doors, commodes and fixtures, lighting, and accessories such that a contract could be written, the materials placed on order and then the long wait for the materials to arrive. Cabinetry was the long lead item (more than 4 mo.). We selected Retro Pro Kitchen and Bath of Chandler, AZ and are very pleased we did. The results were outstanding! Eric Johansson, the owner, was impressive from his very first visit. Not only did he understand our objectives, but improved on the solutions that I thought I had in-hand. He visualized our space with a professional eye and created a design that works much better than my layout. He out-designed his competitors' renditions. Angela Foreman, Retro Pro's Designer, was also outstanding. Based on our concepts, she assembled cabinet styling, flooring, countertops, and accessories for our review and acceptance. Each met our needs and added much luxury without garishness. After construction she also guided us on decorative accents and shopper guidance which was much appreciated. The craftsmen that Eric assigned to our project was Max, as Project Manager and Taylor, his assistant and apprentice. Max has strong skills in all aspects of home re-model and construction. Whether it is drywall, plumbing, electrical, hanging cabinets, creating crown molding (who knew a crown molding had to be created and not pulled from a box!), texturing and painting. He also can work expertly with tile or flooring and will pitch-in as necessary. Taylor has many, not all, of the skills that Max has mastered but not to Max's level. He is a great assistant and keeps the project moving in accordance with Max's daily plan. All the material and tools are in the right place at the right time for efficient performance. While these attributes are necessary for the overall results both individuals also bring a love for what they are doing. Both demand perfection from themselves. They were always striving for it and I was pleased that they were. Both men exhibited high moral character of which I attest having lived with them for 3 1/2 months. They were always courteous and respectful. They were prompt each morning, hard at work throughout the day, and cleaned up before they left. A separate excellent team of Edwin with his son Douglas were the tile and flooring experts. I felt that Edwin was a magician with the tiles. Both baths, the kitchen backsplash, and the flooring are above and beyond our expectation. I must also mention Omar and Oscar. These were highly skilled craftsman who were brought in separately to assist. Oscar when the kitchen soffit was removed and the a/c ductwork and electricals were re-worked. Then Omar's assistance was required to keep on schedule when I added the hallway/foyer to the project. My wife and I were delighted with the results as they unfolded and we remain delighted to this day. As I stated to Eric and Angela during the walk-through inspection at the end of the project: "Retro Pro brought big house luxury to our small space home". We unreservedly recommend Retro Pro Kitchen and Bath of Chandler, AZ if you are considering a re-model project. Important to note: Retro Pro warehoused all our construction materials at their facility and only brought them to our home as needed. Janet and Joseph T read more

We couldn't be happier with our bathroom remodel from Retro Pro. From the initial consultation all the way through the construction, the whole experience was very positive. We were particularly impressed with the workmanship. Quality work through and through. Omar and his crew were always here on time and worked very hard to keep the the construction mess to a minimum. He kept us informed of the progress and what to expect each day. He was a pleasure to work with. The finished project was outstanding and we'd highly recommend them! read more

Retro Pro did an AMAZING job with our bathroom remodel! Could not be happier with how everything turned out; the attention to detail, the design tips, the extra little touches, like having rounded edges on the shower walls/corners - all of it adds up to a spectacular remodel. Eric and Angela did a great job helping us step-by-step through the process, beginning to end, and Max and Junior did a fantastic job on the remodel itself (as did the rest of the project team). They'd let me know when they were coming over every day and would show me progress made, answer my (many) questions, and kept in touch with us while we were out of town as well. You'd think having people in your house day after day tearing out walls and what not might be challenging or disrupting to your normal schedule, but it wasn't - and that's really due to Max and Junior, such great guys who made the process easy and fun. We highly recommend Retro Pro and will certainly be using them again in the future! read more

Just phoned for an estimate and spoke with their "interior designer". She informed me that they won't install anything you don't buy directly from them- due to, ahem, "liability reasons"-even though I bought a light fixture and a vanity from Home Depot. This is "code" for: "we are so greedy that we want to make money off of (upcharge) every single thing we can sell you in addition to the other materials and labor we will charge for and make money off of." Greed. Just plain greed. STEER CLEAR! read more

Chose this company based on their spiel and meeting with CEO. Hired to do a kitchen remodel. Came to the house and made a survey and sketched out the changes we wanted made. Knew we would have to add a beam to support the removed wall as another contractor had mentioned also. Visited the show room and picked the cabinets we wanted. Specifically told him we did not want contractor grade cabinets. Chose a medium priced cabinet with a mocha stain - Solid wood. Eric then called back 10 days later and said he had showed us the wrong cabinets. Said the substitute was similar and could be stained the same color. We were told the company only worked on one job at a time and they could start ours in 3 weeks. Also asked if they subbed out work and I was told 'No' - all workers were their employees. Now the fun began - work was haphazard, the truck was always out front, but work was not always being done. Job foreman always on the phone and found out they had start at least one other job before ours was done. When asked if the permits had been pulled, I was told they wouldn't need to be. After demo had begun, was informed another beam would be needed. Remember, they had surveyed the structure already. Found out the painters, tile men, and wall texturers were subs. The wall had to be done 3 times because they were so badly done. Visited the site at 9 pm one might and found the second texturer doing the job with a single light bulb on the floor. In daylight the job was horrendous as the foreman agreed. Then when they began installing the cabinets, I complained that they were not what had been chosen they were K Mart level. Even had the cabinet company rep visit beause I was raising hell and and she agreed they were the low end of the line. The reason the stain was so poor - they were adhesive faced on composite board. The CEO and his NO 1 man kept saying they were 'wood' cabinets. After 3 months I just wanted them out - they sent young HS kids to clean up and finish work - I ran them off. Never did spread the insulation back and 4 weeks later brought the base of one cabinet that was still not the right size. Needless to say i had to cut it and install it myself. I would be very wary of this company. My cabinet faces are delaminating, the base of the cabinet under the sink is now swollen - due to a cheap disposal that is now leaking. Having been a business owner myself, I would never have said this job was finished to the customer's satisfaction. Regardless what the intro says, I am in Mesa, Arizona read more

We needed to have two of our bathrooms remodeled; our master bathroom and family/guest bathroom. We had three companies come to our home to give us estimates and ideas. Each of the first two sent one person for the estimate. I was disappointed after meeting with them. Basically, all I received was an estimate price of what it would cost to complete and absolutely no design concepts or architectural ideas. I then contacted Retro-Pro and made an appointment with Eric and Angela. They arrived on time and spent approximately one hour going over the project. Eric offered architectural/building ideas while Angela gave design details. I was impressed. They offered information that I had not previously considered or knew. They explained that all the workers that would be at our home are their employees and that nothing is subcontracted. They gave me an exact price on what our project would cost and we made another appointment to meet at their design studio to go over tile and fixture options. They began work on November 14th and the final walk through was on December 22nd, 2016. They assigned a Project Manager, Omar, and he was in contact with us daily as to the progress of the project. He answered all our questions during the construction and addressed any issues or concerns that we had. The construction crews respected our home by using plenty of plastic sheeting and heavy duty paper to protect our belongings and our floors. Angela and Steve, Project Supervisor, would stop by every few days to monitor how the project was progressing. We now have two beautiful bathrooms that we will enjoy for years to come. Angela's design talents shine every time we enter one of our bathrooms. We are so grateful that the project was handled start-to-finish with such professionalism and with the utmost respect for our home. The craftsmanship is second to none. I would not hesitate to hire Retro-Pro again or to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a low-stress, highly-professional company to create a beautiful kitchen or bath environment in their home. Happily, Brad B. read more

I hired Retro Pro to remodel my guest bathroom after interviewing 4 companies. Their pricing was similar to 2 others, but not the lowest. From the first contact through the final walk-through, Angela and Eric were extremely professional and easy to work with. Nestor did exceptional work, kept me informed of progress and what to expect, and even perfectly matched the wall texture in the adjoining den. They started my project when they said they would, finished in less time than expected, and kept on-budget, which was remarkable considering it was the original bathroom for our 1950s house. I love my new guest bathroom and I highly recommend Retro Pro. They will certainly get any of our future remodeling business. read more

Very honest company and top notch customer service. Highly recommend!! We had a great experience with some work needed in our bathroom.

I wanted to redo a shower to make it tile and glass and redo another bathroom to include new cabinets, tile, and a glass shower. Retro Pro gave me a competitive quote (priced about the same as the others), but I chose them because they approached the project like a partnership. During the initial meeting, Steve offered some helpful suggestions to address a few things I said I didn't like about the existing bathrooms. He did it in a nice and open way so that it was easy to say yeah or nah. And he focused on what would make me the happiest as opposed to just getting the job done. When it came to timing, they worked around my schedule, including the holidays, guest visits, etc. while giving me the feeling that what I wanted mattered more than what would be the easiest for them. When it came to doing the work, they protected my home like a cocoon. My carpet was protected by layers of heavy plastic wrap that held up very well for the duration. My wood floors were kept safe by a protective layer. And they cleaned up every night before leaving. They did a great job of bringing in well-managed teams of workers to keep the project moving along quickly. And they kept us informed about the timing along the way so there weren't any surprises. My husband was impressed by the ventilated plastic wall they taped to our home to keep dust and fumes in their working space and out of our living area. It looked pretty awesome and it did the job well. They carefully protected our home the whole time and it showed how they are customer-centered; they care a lot about how they could make the project easier and drama free for us. As the work began, because they were so collaborative and insightful, I mentioned a few other things about other parts of my home that drove me a little bit crazy. For example, my other cabinets would slam shut and another cabinet had broken hardware. So they upgraded the hardware on my existing cabinets for a reasonable price. And boy, what an improvement. The cabinets fully close everywhere (none of that 'almost closed' look anywhere). And they open and shut simply and quietly. I love how much easier it is to use my old cabinets now. They didn't make any comments about "do I want to replace these old cabinets?" They just heard my comment about what bothered me about the old cabinets and they said, "would you like it if we did x to fix it?" and I was all ears since they were all ears and they'd won me over as great helpers with excellent work so they'd earned my trust and respect. They also noticed that my garbage bin space was underutilized so they asked me if I'd like them to make it bigger by installing different hardware. Again, they made it easy for me to consider, with no pressure whatsoever. I gave it some thought then approved their proposal. And now I have about 1.5 times the bin space fit into the same cabinet. It looks awesome and glides out perfectly. Now I don't need to take out the garbage as often and it looks like the bins were custom made for the cabinet. They noticed project work/materials details that should be improved before considering it done, even stuff that I had no idea wasn't quite right, and they made sure it was finished to the high standards that they hold. I didn't need to say a thing; they showed me the tiniest details they'd noticed that they could address and they'd get it done. Very nice. Also, I felt that a couple of tiles weren't exactly what I wanted. The tiles are natural stone so some variation in the look of each tile is normal. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that I didn't like two of the tiles until after they were fully installed. I was kicking myself for not giving it a better look before the grout was put in. But they bent over backwards, sideways and forwards in the kindest of ways to redo the work however many times it took to make sure every single tile makes me smile every time I go into the room. Again, their only goal was to make me happy no matter what it took. I can't say enough about how amazing they were to work with. Nestor, Steve, Eric, Angela...they are all excellent at what they do and their customer service throughout the project was exemplary. I am so glad I chose them to do the work.. And I'm delighted with the whole thing from start to finish. The next time I want some work done, even if I don't quite know what the solution would be, I know I can call them and they'll come back with something that'll work better than I'd have thought possible with minimal disruption, strong attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills, great ideas on how the "look" can come together, a customer service orientation, and with "what'll make me happy" as their sole focus. I couldn't ask for anything more...it was top notch all around. I look forward to working with them on my next project. They took great care to make it exactly what I was hoping for and more. Wow, these folks are amazing. read more

Project: Remodel 90s kitchen Eric and Angela were very helpful with the design of our kitchen. They are very easy to work with, have a lot of good ideas, and have good pictures of remodels they have completed. This helped with explaining their ideas. They listen to your ideas and try to work them into the space. The staff showed up at 8:30 am every weekday with only a few exceptions. We were notified of those exceptions at least a day ahead. They were very helpful as we were living in the house while the construction was in process. They tried to keep the place livable. They also closed off rooms where they were working with plastic sheeting so as to keep the construction dust down. They cleaned up every evening before leaving. The trades showed up when scheduled. We did not have many week days where work was not in process. The time estimate was six weeks, and the actual was five weeks. We love our new kitchen and it is very easy to work there. In the Summer of 2012 I wanted to remodel my kitchen and tile. I contacted probably four companies and went with Retro Pro. Right from the first meeting I had a good feeling about Eric the owner and Angela the designer. They were so nice and took the time to listen to all my questions and my husbands questions. When the work started the guys took great care of our house and respected our request to start "loud work" as late as possible due to our night jobs. To our Retro Pro Team, We had our shower & bath tub remodeled a few weeks ago & honestly could not be happier. Eric, the owner & Angela, the designer, came to our home to meet with us & to give us an idea of length of time for the project & to work on a quote. We, then, met with them, along with Steve, the project manager, at the warehouse to see options & to choose the products that we preferred. They listened to what we wanted & were very receptive to our requests. The entire team came to our house before the start date so they could discuss what they were going to be doing & to give us the opportunity to meet everyone beforehand. It was reassuring to discuss what was expected of everyone before they showed up. We worked mostly with Nestor & Eddie. They were both beyond competent & great to work with. They were respectful of our time & that they were in someone's home. They were so neat & clean. Their work was perfection! Our bathroom is now a show piece! It came out better than we expected & we can't say enough awesome things about our Retro Pro experience & the entire staff. We've already recommended them to a few friends. Thank you again, Dan & Susan Knak read more

Yes! Omar and his assistant did an outstanding job for us.

RetroPro impressed me from the first time I met them at the Maricopa Home and Garden Show. I asked them to provide an estimate for renovating my Master Bath and Guest Bath. I had estimates provided by other companies as well, but even in the estimation process I observed the integrity and dedication of the team. After meeting Eric and Angela, hearing about the Six SIgma process design, and seeing the processes from the beginning, there was no question in my mind that RetroPro was getting my business. With the proficient guidance of Eric and Angela, we put together a plan for the renovation of the Master Bath and Guest Bath. Eric brought a full team including Production Manager (Klete), Project Manager (Nate), and Designer (Angela) to conduct a walkthrough of the work to be done. The discussions during this session revealed the knowledge, experience, and pride of worksmanship of the team. I was struck by the detailed, passionate exchanges - at one point the subject matter was about 14"inch v 1/2" inch. It was a pleasure to see so many people who so obviously care about providing superior results. I received thorough and consistent communication from Nate throughout the project. I was kept in the loop regarding what was planned for each day, and at the end of the day I was updated on the progress. Before they left each day, they cleaned up the work area. Each member of the team was polite, helpful, and respectful. The team members at Retro Pro are skilled and detail-oriented. Each team member is empowered by the management of Retro Pro to provide the highest level of service to the customer, and they do so, every day. I HIGHLY recommend the team at RetroPro for home renovation work. read more

BEWARE-THE OWNER DOES NOT OBTAIN PERMITS REQUIRED BY THE CITY TO DO PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL WORK. HE ALSO DOES NOT USE LICENSED ELECTRICIANS OR LICENSED PLUMBERS. Needless to say our remodel was a painful experience. It lasted months longer than it should have...due to a worker dropping a drill on the brand new vanity marble top and the owner wanting me to be ok with them filling the whole. No way..we paid for a new vanity we wanted a new vanity..not a new fixed vanity. Sadly we weren't able to get a new vanity because the 3 times they tried to replace it..each vanity showed up damaged..so we had to settle with a fixed marble top that you can still notice a hole in. The BIGGEST issue was that the workers hooked up our above stove microwave into the lighting circuit. Had the owner gotten a permit and used a licensed electrician...this giant mistake would not have happened. Each time we would use the microwave...the power would go out. This happened because they were supposed to add a new circuit strictly for the microwave...since it takes a lot of power. Sadly we had to file a complaint with the registrar of contractors in order to make sure the owner got the permit AND a licensed electrician to do the job. MAKE SURE YOU MAKE THE OWNER GET PERMITS! In an email from the owner he said he doesn't get permits because it's a waste of time and money! WELL IT'S ALSO ILLEGAL. Also..we got brand new kitchen cabinets that took months to correct. From doors being different sizes..to cracks and dents. Owner wanted to brush it off saying they are up to standard. It's up to standard to get brand new cabinets with dents and cracks? We did end up getting a discount for the cabinets because we finally just settled with some of the flaws. Also...the workers were careless as they did not cover our brand new granite counter top before setting all of their tools and supplies on it. We did hear that the owner demoted the worker that was on our job because of the electrical problem. However...I put full onus on the OWNER as he did not have a licensed professional do the job like a LICENSED contractor is supposed to do. There were a myriad of problems...part of my piano getting broken when they moved it...my couch getting scuffed up and having a person come out and airbrush my BRAND NEW couch. It was a horrible experience. We still have a little over a year left of our guarantee to fix things should other problems occur. Praying there won't be something wrong with the plumbing since they did not use licensed plumbers either. Also...I have MS and this experience sure flared it up! Needless to say...we did not get a wonderful gift basket like Angela promised us after the project was complete. One would think since you messed up so bad...you would have given us a freaking gift basket! Oh well...here's to hoping the job is actually complete. read more

We had 6 different estimates for our kitchen remodel. Most of the contractors that visited our home said, "This is a big job", which didn't instill a sense of confidence. When Eric & Angela came into our home, they immediately understood our vision and made it seem almost easy to accomplish. After having researched remodeling in our area, the price was in the range of what we had anticipated and very competitive. What made them stand out for us, was their shared vision for the project, the in-house crew, and the attention to detail. Eric came up with several ideas for our layout that we had not even thought of and created a truly custom and beautiful kitchen. Omar's craftsmanship and attention to detail made it obvious he has years of experience. Any challenges our older home presented, he and his crew handled without issue. Omar was very friendly to our kids, and never made us feel like we were in the way in our own home. Angela provided advice on design to make the space feel cohesive with the rest of our house. We originally thought pendant lights would make the kitchen feel too small. She strongly recommended we go with them, and we absolutely love them. Steve was always reassuring to me when I was having trouble picturing the kitchen during the remodel. He was always just a phone call away. We were very happy with our entire remodeling process with Retro Pro. If we had to do it all over, we would definitely choose them again. The only thing friends and family say when they see our new kitchen is, "Wow!" read more

We recently had a first floor renovation of our condo in Phoenix while living on the East Coast. The project included a complete kitchen expansion and remodel. We were looking for a reputable company who could take control of the entire project since we would not be in town during construction. Both Angela and Eric were terrific during all phases of the project, including design, scheduling, and construction. They delivered on all aspects of the project, and their communication skills were key to our overall satisfaction of the project. Angela and Eric offered various design options, and brought all aspects of the project together from cabinetry, granite counter tops, flooring, and wall colors. As usual, during construction, various unexpected issues came up, but Angela and Eric handled them very professionally, and were very accommodating. We recommend them very highly, and will definitely use them again for our next project. Happy in Philly! read more

Working with Retro Pro has been a dream. Upon meeting their team for the first time, I knew they were a perfect fit for my projects. They remodeled my kitchen and two bathrooms and I couldn't be happier with the results. Even at the first meeting, owner Eric and designer Angela got right to work taking pictures and sketching ideas of what would beautify and maximize my small space. We met soon after at their show room and chose cabinets, stone, fixtures etc. They made it so fun and EASY! Once they were ready to begin, we met with Steve the production manager and Nestor, the project manager. They were amazing to work with and really went above and beyond to make sure that my project ran on schedule. Their craftsmanship was impeccable, beyond what I could have imagined. Nestor kept in touch with me each day letting me know what time they would be at my house working and what they were working on, always welcoming my ideas and input along the way. If you are looking to remodel a space in your home, big or small, I can guarantee you will not be disappointed if you choose Retro Pro, only surprised and delighted. read more

Retro Pro Kitchen and Bath Remodeling - General Contractors Near Me - Chandler, Arizona

We used Retro Pro for a guest bath remodel in 2013 and were so pleased that we used them again for the master bath and, as before, we were really satisfied with the results and the whole process. Eric and Angela met with us initially at our home and then again for a design consultation at their showroom. Angela was very helpful both in the design process and during the construction. The work encompassed a total tear out of the existing bathroom, removal of a sunken tub, and a dividing wall. Two narrow windows were replaced with a single window involving the reworking of the stucco exterior. A new bathtub, tile surround, tile floor, new lighting and cabinets were installed. Nestor, our project manager, and the crew were professional, competent, very accommodating and polite. Eddie did a great job with the tile work as he had done for the guest bath. It is nice to see a lot of the faces that were with the company four years ago. Communication was excellent and the project was finished on schedule. Although they are not the cheapest in town, the quality and peace of mind was well worth it and we highly recommend them. read more

They did a great job installing granite and travertine in our bath/kitchen. They're quick responding and address problems or questions quickly even two years later. I would use them again and always refer them to friends. read more

Retro Pro did a complete re-do of our master bath 4 yrs ago, and they just completed doing our kitchen and guest bath this summer. We couldn't ask for more from a contractor. Workmanship is exceptional with perfect attention to detail and with great effort made in preventing the spread of dust which is always a part of reno projects. And, importantly, constant communication never left any doubt as to what was being done, by whom and when. Questions were answered on the spot, no waiting. The design and quote process was painless thanks to Eric and Angela, and we got exactly what we wanted. How often can you say that? We strongly recommend this company. read more

We selected Retro Pro for a major remodel project (kitchen, 3 bathrooms, wall/slider to the outside, and whole house flooring) after getting quotes from 4 different companies. We went with them because of Eric's vision after he heard what we were trying to accomplish, the time and energy he and Angela spent on us just to get an initial quote, and the trust and respect instilled in those first couple of meetings. Our gut was spot on! This huge project was such a good experience with Eric, Angela, Steve, Omar, and the rest of the staff! Their communication throughout the project was phenomenal; stayed in constant contact for progress and questions, we were never left hanging or wondering, and Eric was always in tune to any hesitations or requests we had. Angela learned what style we like, and helped design our project beautifully. They really listened to what we wanted, and designed it so. Everyone was very respectful when they were in our home, the work was always clean. The skill and quality of their work and products are top of the line!!! True craftsmanship! They make sure it's perfect and guarantee it to last. We are so pleased and have since used them for new windows and some other projects in other areas of our house. We are always recommending them to friends and neighbors. It is a pleasure to work with Retro Pro. read more

We recently had two bathrooms remodeled by Retro Pro and are very happy with the results. We found that Eric (the owner) and Angela (the designer) were very easy to deal with. They came up with several good ideas and suggestions which we implemented that improved the project. We were very pleased with Omar, our project manager, as well as Max who was the technician working with him. They did very high quality work and Omar kept us fully informed of the status with daily updates on what they had done and what they had planned for that day. The project was two complete bathroom remodels in our house which is over fifty years old. The new bathrooms look great, and you can tell the excellent quality of workmanship and materials used by Retro Pro. The project came in ahead of schedule and on budget. We're very happy with the results and look forward to working with them on more projects in the future. read more

I am a senior citizen living in a mobile home. I had a lot of trouble getting in and out of the bathtub to shower so I called Retro Pro to come in and redesign my bathroom. They listened to my needs and made a new bathroom for me, creating a shower with a bench to set on and handicap bars, gave me a new non-slip floor, and made my life more comfortable. They were so good to work with, very considerate of my situation and the fact that I am home bound. The workers took time to answer my questions and showed me their progress at the end of every day. Now my new bathroom is the talk of my trailer park and my remaining years will be spent in comfort, all thanks to Retro Pro! You can't go wrong by calling them to do your work. read more

We contracted with Retro Pro for a master bath remodel. We selected Retro Pro after comparing products and prices with several other contractors. The entire staff of Retro Pro from the owner to the workers completing the project were very professional. The remodel was a major construction project and their team did everything possible to lessen the impact of such a project on our daily activities. We couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the finished product. We recommend Reto Pro if you are considering a bath remodel. Again service was outstanding... read more

Our home was built in 1986 and last winter we decided to update the master bathroom. Retro Pro was the only company we had bid our project because we were so impressed with their professionalism, knowledge, friendliness and patience in assisting us as we decided what we wanted. We ended up completely gutting the bathroom and moving the location of the shower, soaker tub and even a window. The execution of the work could not have gone any better! Various issues came up, as they often do during a remodel, and our project manager thoroughly explained our options, sometimes over the phone or with photos e-mailed because a family emergency took us out of the area at the very beginning of the job. They worked independently and efficiently and completed the job on time. The workmanship was outstanding and we couldn't be any happier with our new bathroom! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Retro Pro on any type of project and I look forward to having them come back next winter to remodel our guest bathroom! read more

My wife and I just finished a complete (rip and replace) remodel of our master bathroom. Retro Pro and the people from Retro Pro lived up to our expectations. We are not easy to please. We have a home built in 1992, and the master bath was very badly outdated. We took our time in meeting with them, evaluating a few other contractors and then deciding on Retro Pro. One of the strong selling points for me was that with the exception of the granite countertop fabrication, all of the work was done by Retro Pro employees - no sub-contractors. This is a major plus. Our project manager was Omar, and quite simply put, Omar is amazing, and his assistant Max was fantastic as well. Omar knows all of the trades and is extremely detail-oriented. The entire job was essentially completed in 4 weeks. On day one, all of the demolition work was completed - one day! This included tile removal, shower and tub removal, light fixture removal, toilet removal, mirror removal - the demo work was essentially done in one day. They kept dust to a minimum by having plastic sheeting covering everything outside the master bath, and actually had a zippered plastic entry to the bathroom. Through the job I never had any trouble getting in touch with the owners or the construction manager. They called each morning to let us know what time they would be coming that day. We also had Retro Pro install some new LED lighting in our kitchen and living room ceilings. Fantastic result! They assist with design and decorating ideas, and the whole job went really well. We just had our final walk through this week on October 9. read more
