They did a great job replacing a mirror for my bathroom. They were extra careful with the frame

EXCEPTIONAL!! Another great experience! I had my windows & screens done & couldn't be happier. Great communication through out the process. Each person I dealt with from the receptionist to the installers could not have been more friendlier and kind. All in all great service & price! read more

I can't recommend these people, the woman who takes calls needs some training on empathy - when I questioned the bill, after work was done, she immediately reminded me twice that they provided work that "I agreed to..." - no discussion. just shit me down: Job #1 (late July 2023) window repair, 2 balances replaced and labor Job #2 (Late Oct. 2023) window repair (looked like another bad balance), turned out to be that, just bend back the frame which took maybe 5 min - that was over $200 and almost as much as job 1 which included material cost. I don't like doing reviews like this and the Techs here that I met are terrific, great people so this pains me, but if that woman would have given me a "return customer discount" (10%?), or just empathize / explain why the difference in cost, I wouldn't have written this. Would be a 1 star but I don't want to hurt the Tech. guys. read more

A window broke in an Old window frame, Carl was more than qualified to replace the glass and put the old frame back together. Quick and professional, thank you Carl - good job! I'm very happy with Apache Glass. price was right. read more

Happy with the glass order, replacement and price. They replaced the safety glass in our old entry side windows.

After only one year a panel shattered after merely being bumped lightly and the warranty "doesn't cover" this. The bottom piece came completely dislodged which makes me wonder how well that was even installed. The other panel started leaking at the bottom after 5 months. read more

They over-promise and under-deliver. Their Customer Service is awful. I was scolded like a child and talked down to by the Manager. I think her name is Sherry. She acted like she was doing me a favor instead of performing a service. I won't ever go back. Luckily, they did a small job for me but I know NOT to use them for a total window repair of my home in the future. read more

First mirror ordered had to be sent back due to a chip in the glass. Second mirror was delivered and had a long scratch that was not visible to the naked eye, not even our contractors that were conducting the install until it was hung under light. Company stated it was beyond the 10 day warranty, which is all they cared about. The fact that they received two mirrors with chips and scratches should be of a greater concern to them. Unfortunately I will need to escalate to BBB and Register of Contractors. Plenty of other places for glass folks, keep looking. read more

Apache Glass was very easy to work with. Knowledgeable, helpful and easy going. I didn't have to wait long to get my window replaced. The installers were great and did a good job. They cleaned up after they finished and left nothing behind. They left the bedroom and the flower bed the way they were when the arrived. read more

Apache Glass - Shower. - Windows Installation Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

My contractor hired Apache Glass to do the shower glass and a few other things in our remodel. As much as I liked the owner Chance, I can't recommend them. They didn't meet even one deadline they promised. One of the installers of one shower cut the metal too short on bottom of shower (that holds the glass) and water flowed out of it the first time used. You can't tell me that someone who does this as a profession didn't see he cut the metal too short. Funny (not funny) thing is when they had to come back and redo it, he was complaining to the second installer about how he LOVES to do jobs a second time over. (My ring doorbell picked up the conversation). Do it right the first time and you won't have to redo it!!! I really loved the many weeks of delays. Everything took weeks upon weeks. They'd quote a deadline I think knowing they wouldn't be able to meet it. They took out a garden window in the kitchen to replace with a regular window. They measured wrong, and we had to wait another 4 weeks for delivery and another week for them to come back out to install. I could go on an on. With all the mistakes and delays, I wasn't offered even 1CENT discount by either them or my GC. Unbelievable. The second installer who works for them names Justin is amazing. Without him, they wouldn't survive the way they are currently doing business. read more

Service from Apache Glass is TERRIBLE!! 3 weeks of waiting for a quote on a job, calling to find the quote, no one knowing anything about the quote, leaving my number and no one calling back about it until we called again. Customer service is not in Ruby's makeup. She is not the one that should be on the phone with customers. She thinks sending a partial quote after all that time for the door only and no windows should be OK. I will not use them again and would not recommend them to anyone. I understand the forgetting, but not the attitude. We have a lot of work to do in the next few weeks that they will not get. read more

Not impressed A simple window from a mobile home - 14"x14" with faded plexiglass that needed replacement. $23 for the glass or $40 for glass and to install in the little frame. Seemed high but for $40 maybe they put in new seals or something. She said to take a seat and they would do it right away. I said I needed to run a quick errand and returned after 15 minutes. "Can I help you?" Didn't know me. This is not a busy place folks. I waited an additional 10 minutes and asked if I should come back later. "Well they are unloading a truck now so its going to be a while". I returned later and found my new plexiglass (plastic still on it) installed in the frame. Upon arrival at home the plastic was wedged stuck the frame so I had to take it apart and reinstall it myself anyway. And no new seals - they were in bad shape. Poor and unfriendly service. Should have bought a piece at a hardware store read more

I called Apache glass to inquire about installing mirrors in my home gym. They efficiently and professionally set up a time to meet me at my home that was convenient for me to measure. After the measurements were taken, I was contacted by a nice lady from their office who quoted me the price to purchase and install the mirrors in my home gym. The price was very reasonable so I agreed to move forward with Apache glass. Once the glass arrived to their warehouse, they contacted me and we scheduled a day and time for their crew to come and install the glass in my home gym. The crew consisted of four gentleman who were very courteous, professional, and efficient. The install took approximately one hour and looked amazing. I am very satisfied with my experience with Apache glass. They are a small business that actually cares about customer satisfaction. Thank you Apache glass for a great experience and for making my home gym look amazing. read more

We had many dual pane windows which needed to be replaced. We e-mailed one place for an estimate, but they wanted to charge $100 for the estimate. No thanks. If your estimate is high, I lose $100. Two vendors did not return my call till I had already gotten an estimate with Apache Glass. First, the price was great and they did good work. The guys had to come to our home twice and on both occasions they were on time or early and finished in a timely manner. They were professional and respectful. We did have some scheduling issues, but fortunately things worked out well. We were called and scheduled but the day before they explained that they did not have all of the glass. They came to our home and did about half. Fine. No problem. They rescheduled, but one of the glass windows was not in a second time because it was broken or something. No problem..... was hoping to get this done asap. We listed our home for sale this week, and luckily they came during a time where we had no scheduled visits. They came today and finished everything. I am very happy with the work. However, if you're in a time crunch and are doing a lot of windows, you definitely want to schedule ahead of time. Even with it not getting done as quickly as I wanted, with the price and the service, I'd still go back to Apache Glass in a heartbeat because scheduling mishaps happen. However, good service and friendly people are hard to come by nowadays. read more

Thank you to the my local hardware store for recommending Apache Glass. I needed a replacement for glass for my stairway light. Not sure her name but the office person who sits towards to front door is friendly and knew what I needed. Above all she also took my ideas I got consideration. The person working the shop who cut my glass also was friendly and knew what I needed. It's rare in today's customer facing world to find a business which operates like this. I highly recommend Apache Glass and their staff. I read some of the reviews about pricing and would say they were reasonable considering they are a specialty company. read more

So I am reviewing the first part of my experience. The Measurement and quote: Da Da Da (dramatic effect), An extremely professional and nice young man (I can say that now that I'm older) arrived on time and introduced himself. He had everything he needed when he arrived at my door. I showed him to the project (shower glass) at which time he complemented my tile work (5 - point's for the complement). He asked what I wanted and made a couple recommendations based on experience. That's a good thing because I'm not a glass guy! He did his measurements and explained the drawing to me. I asked him if he could look at another project and he explained the best way to accomplish what I was after. Sold! So they will be completing the 2 projects in a couple weeks (due to the holiday) So far very happy with the professional interaction and fair pricing. Oh by the way I later found out the young man is also the owner. I like it when an owner interacts with the customers and doesn't just sit in an office. Part 2 to follow. read more

I can't say our experience was terrible with Apache Glass, but it wasn't a positive customer experience and we won't be back. We needed to replace the balancers in our single hung windows. We debated between picking them up from a big box store at nearly half the price, or supporting a small local company (2 balancers at $25 each). We decided to go with the small local company. The experience of picking up the balancers was fine, and Apache riveted the plastic shoes (?) on both ends of the 2 needed balancers. When I installed the balancer on the left into the channel on the window frame, I noticed that it had a slight twist in it, in other words it wasn't sitting perfectly square with the frame at the top. I tried to adjust it, but it remained the same. Considering it was new, and we had just picked it up from Apache glass, I thought it probably would be fine. When we installed the window and slid the window down, the right balancer installed perfectly, but the left remained high on the frame. We had a heck of a time getting the balancer and the window out, resulting in a bent take-out clip. We returned to Apache Glass to buy some clips, however they were out of them. We mentioned the twisted balancer and showed it to them, and said we thought that might be part of the problem as the right one had installed properly. They said that had they installed it, they may do something about it, but considering that we had installed it ourselves, there was nothing they would do. This is not a complicated install; it's the same process to take out the window to clean it on both sides. In the end, they offered to take 10% off a new balancer which would've been $2.50 off of a $25 item. We took our balancer and left. My recommendation is to stick to that big box store. A big box would have likely given us a new one off the shelf, and even if we had to purchase another balancer, two would have cost us the same as one at Apache Glass. At Apache, we would've been content with paying half price, but 10% off was really quite an insult. While we waited for the balancers to have the shoes riveted on the first time, I had asked for a quote on a glass shower enclosure, but we won't be going back to Apache glass for those. In other words, expect bad customer service if anything goes wrong. Go to the big box store; they're more interested in keeping you as a customer. read more

Stay away from Apache Glass....I would give these guys negative stars if possible. They are receptive when they want to sell you a $3,000 shower enclosure...but not so much if you need it fixed. They have the worst customer service....You might want to tape what comes out of their mouth so you can play it back at a later time...Be warned. read more

Wish Yelp would start giving the option of half and quarter stars. We had Apache Glass several years ago install shower doors, replace all windows and install 8' 3 piece closet doors in 2 different rooms. Great experience and service! ....Then the company was sold and the customer service has moved to the bottom of the trash can. We have called a couple of time for work on the closet doors, this last time takes the cake. From the very beginning things started to go wrong. The house was vacant and I asked them to call prior to showing up, that didn't happen twice. Then they call asking for final payment and I proceed to tell her that the closet doors are still not fixed so I'm not paying a dime. They put me on the phone with the tech that came out, we talk and he says that he will come back out so we can talk and I can show him whats still wrong. No call no show. They call again asking for final payment, I explain again that I'm not going to pay a dime. They tell me that they will have the tech call me, I explain that that won't do anything but if they want to thats up to them....low and behold....no call, and its been almost 3 weeks. I'll be calling another glass company from now one. read more

I needed to replace a broken pane of glass on a framed photo. I walked in and asked for a piece of 22" x 28" single-strength glass. This was nothing fancy, not an anti-reflection glass, not tempered glass, just the simplest possible piece of ordinary glass. Their price was $32. I needed it ASAP, so I swallowed hard and paid it. This is at least double the going rate for such an item. The piece was cut to the correct size, and I didn't have to wait more than three or four minutes, but I'll probably never go back - I left feeling ripped off. read more
