Definitely not impressed on a Thursday. There were plenty of people still digging through the week's remains, but nothing we saw encouraged us to give it a go. We know from friends that going with the new items is more encouraging and they've been lucky to get new pendant lighting and other home furnishing at a bargain. Bring gloves! The items and the bins themselves are dirty. Beyond that, you can find some really great stuff here for good deals! They have tons and tons of different things and it's worth it to check on different days of the week. This is a great place to find craft supplies and stocking stuffers too! Also, the people who work here are so nice and helpful! Leagues better than the Belton location. I'll definitely be back! read more

An associate of mines informed me about this location and told me about the various different items and sales they have which surprised me, so I decided to come to this location and I was not disappointed. When I walked in, I noticed a ton of people inside searching through the bins. There are several bins to look through and find items. It almost felt like a treasure hunt. While searching through some of the bins, I noticed there were liquid substances exposed and on the bottom of the bin, so I recommend anyone coming here to bring gloves to protect yourself from sharp items and other substances you could potentially encounter. What makes this establishment unique, is that they have sales every single day. Saturday is the restock day and the items in the bins are priced at $10. I went on Tuesday and the items in the bins were priced at $4. On the opposite side of the bins, you can find things like cleaning products, shoes, clothes, and other items that are great, but those items are not a part of the special everyday deals you get at the bins. Overall, I had a good time here. There are several different items to get at the bins and I think it's a great idea that the prices decrease every day and items restock on Saturday. Once you checkout, there are bags the location provides for you to store your items and transport which I appreciated. The establishment also had a security guard which made the environment feel safe. I definitely recommend anyone wanting some good deals to come here. I love a good auction site, and so I wanted to try Retail Rebel. Total Disappointment! I won 4 items, and when I went to pick them up, only 2 of the 4 items could be located. Where did they go? I had already paid for them and now they were gone! I was unable to find anyone with a working iPad to help credit my account, so I guess I paid for items I never received. read more

When walking in, you'll go right to dig through the bins for items you want to keep. Depending on the day, you'll pay the prices posted on the posters hanging up on the walls. When walking in, go straight to shop the items you would like to keep. It helps to download the app ahead of time so you can scan the items you're interested in. The original price is listed and depending on how long the items have been there, R. Rebel begins to mark the price down. So, scanning items is the best thing to do! Stock up, save on lower prices and have fun!! Restrooms there, too. I have not been to the newer live auctions yet. I arrived later in afternoon on a Thursday but was still able to spend over $50 from the bin side. Your bins still had a good amount of usable stuff left in them. Might I suggest though that on your metal signs that you get in to please put them on end in a narrow box or basket or tub so they don't get all bent to hell. Thanks. Lost car FOB. Wasn't allowed to search after hours or even look in the back. "Liability reasons" (translation: screw you). Wasn't allowed to search trash. Asked if there was any possible way to look through non recycled bins - "uh... they're stacked, so nope" Asked if they would like to help pay for the bill to get a new smart key, since we were kicked out of store and denied opportunity to even look through the trash. Hard "no" Asked if there was any way to ensure that they didn't sell the key. "Uh...could've happened". Asked if they knew the laws pertaining to selling items misplaced in a store. Long pause......."uh.... talk to legal". You better PRAY I don't find that smart key on CL or on FB Marketplace. Typical people. There was ONE decent employee in the store advocating for us to be able to search after hours while they restocked. She was told "nope". So I'm out several hundred dollars. And that's all that comes of it. But you better hope I don't find that FOB listed anywhere. And believe me - I'm checking. read more

If you're willing to dig, you can find some awesome stuff here. Go Sat and Sunday if you're looking for more big ticket items. Middle to end of the week is better if you're looking for random books and miscellany. I've found a few items on my wishlist here much cheaper. Pro tip: wear gloves, you will get dirty. As for the other review mentioning parking, I have been there multiple times, recently and before It's 5 was ever opened. I have had zero issues, nor have I ever seen a tow truck there. There is a lane through the parking lots, that is clearly a lane. The parking lot spaces are well marked, and the unmarked areas are the lanes. Pricing details below. They only charge in $5 increments. So if you find 8 items on a Friday, you may as well grab a couple more as you will be charged for the 10 for $5 regardless. Sat & Sun: $5 each item Mon: 2 for $5 ($2.50 each) Tues: 3 for $5 ($1.67 each) Wed: 4 for $5 ($1.25 each) Thurs: 5 for $5 ($1 each) Fri: 10 for $5 (50¢ each) The clothing side is $5 each every day. read more

Dumpster diving for the middle class. I went in for the first time to see what it was like. Trash in every bin. Empty boxes that may have had a product inside. People throwing random stuff from bin to bin. I kept seeing people wearing gloves and thought that was weird until I moved a small pile of random crap and got stabbed by a piece of glass. There is no organization or safety concerns. I didn't see a single thing I would buy. I would assume that if you did buy something there you taking a chance that it is broken, bad, expired, a knock off, or simply something that someone threw away. I never went over to the clothing side because if the bins where this bad I could only imagine how that side was. I felt gross coming out of there. This place is 2 dollars away from a crack den. If all the other stores are like this, let's hope no one gets hurt in anyway because the store has no respect for it's self or concerns for their customers. It's 5 you really need to organize yourself and have some rules. Have an active person on the floor getting rid of broken items. Sort this trash you call a product before trying to sell it. Have marked bins indicating what's collectively inside. Have sections. Have some rules if you take it out of a box put it back in if you are not going to buy it. Another rule would to be don't open items and dump it in a bin just to see whats inside. Your presentation looks like small little dumpsters that you sort of tried to organize. You need to rethink on how you present your store and the stuff you sell. read more

Went here on a Wednesday and wasn't even inside for 5 minutes before i was told that I "can't dig" in the bins if I don't have an adult supervising me. I am over the age of 18 so i continued to dig through the bins like ever other customer in the building was doing. Less than 5 minutes later the same woman came up to me and rudely told me to take my purse outside. Very rude, not a way to keep customers shopping here. read more

Do not go to this store in Olathe! They have a very strange configuration for a parking lot. There is a "street" through the parking lot that is not marked. It is the width of 2 parking spots and looks like parking spots. It's $5 has a contract with Knights towing and Lucas towing to tow cars parked in this area. Kick backs, anyone? They are just waiting for cars to be left in this space. My teenage daughter left her car for 1 hour. When she came out, another car was parked in her space. Talking with other people, she figured out that it had been towed. It cost us $265 cash to get it back. And we had to be there in 1 hour or wait until Monday (and pay for extra days). I talked to a manager at a store in this area. She said that she saw 20 cars getting towed on the same day. It's a trap!! Beware! read more

I gotta tell you that you will definitely get the best items on Saturday and Sunday. So if you're looking for higher priced items those are the days to go. I've been to a Sunday one where I scored boxes new higher priced items for $5 dollars a piece. Then I've been on a Tuesday when it's buy each item for $3 and finally this last time on a Thursday when everything was a dollar. My daughter came in from CO and we spent hours rummaging through lots of empty boxes and broken items but still managed to find things we could use. I scored a really thick roll of orange transfer vinyl for all you Cricut junkies. And a gigantic roll of transfer paper! Then they have their clothing side which the items are always $5 no matter what day. But I was able to find many tops for iron ons. So i definitely think it is worth checking out. Just remember not to wear nice clothes, bring rubber gloves and just have fun digging through bins for hours. read more
