I hadn't been to this antique mall in quite a while so we were in the area and decided to stop in…read more We don't usually buy antiques, but we like to go and look at a variety of the things in the store as they are usually interesting. Individuals rent out spaces to display their items they have for sale. Each area usually has similar and unique items. You can easily spend well over an hour or more looking at the various sections of the store. I was pleased to see a younger guy that had opened a regular bookstore booth in one area. We ended up purchasing a book from him and then my husband bought some antique license plates since muscle cars are his hobby. There are some things in each booth that may be very reasonable, and also there will be booths that are holding sales with a percentage off of their items. There was also a booth that had some quality re-sale men's clothing, and I purchased a nice shirt for my husband. Since we had some items in our hand, a worker asked if we wanted to have them held upfront. Typically you bring items upfront if you have more than one and they will put your name on them and you just ask when you go out front and it's time to purchase. I think the main things that are overpriced at the antique store are paintings. I have seen similar paintings at thrift stores that are actually originals as well and they are drastically cheaper. So I would say that there can be good values throughout, but some things are overpriced and that's why I gave it a four. I do like this thrift store because it's not as crowded with items so you could actually view each booth without being overwhelmed.

This gem of a store has been so clutch over the years for picking up gifts. Some of the people in my life are, um, a little hard to shop for, but when I come in here, I always come away with something great. It's all so well-curated; some gifts are classy, some funny, and many are versatile. It beats the socks off of going into a big box store in a million ways. Being in a charming stretch of a walkable area adds to its appeal, and the staff is always friendly. They also have Pickwick candles which are some of the best in town. These soy candles will last multiple seasons and almost all of them smell amazing. Cheers to this shop, they're doing it right and have saved my bacon every December since they've opened.

The location is easy to find with convenient parking, and it is right next to Fluffy Fresh. When I arrived in the morning, I almost thought they were closed because the store looked pretty dark from outside, but the open sign was there and I was greeted politely when I went in. The shop has a lot of cute, curated items, with maybe a stronger focus on stationery and paper goods than the small figures or novelty items I was personally hoping for. There is also a little trinket exchange cabinet, which is a fun concept and worth checking out even if you are just browsing. Overall, the selection felt thoughtfully chosen, just more in line with stationery and gifts than I was looking for that day. One thing that stood out to me was the lighting. Even on a sunny day with large windows, the interior felt quite dim, especially when browsing smaller items. A bit more overhead lighting would make it easier to really see what they offer. That said, the atmosphere was calm and the staff was friendly without being overbearing, which I appreciated. I might not rush back, but I would definitely take another look if something caught my eye on their website first.
