I had Joe remediate a bathroom in a rental property, which can be tricky when you dealing with tenants. But thankfully everything came out ok and my tenants weren't overly disturbed by the process. I was so fortunate to find Restoration Professionals after calling several other related businesses. I found the quotes way to high in price and on top of this, lacking in knowledge and customer service. Joe was refreshingly very knowledgeable, courteous, certified and very reasonable in price!!!I I was very surprised at Joe's great follow-up calls. It made me feel that he did care about my concerns and process and that this issue was going to come out positive in the end. I have a space at the beach in which, unbeknownst to me, had some (considered light) mold issues found after the long term tenant had moved out. First of all - I had to go through the whole process of figuring out what my login for Yelp was because it's been awhile. But I knew I HAD to leave a positive review for Joe and team because of the great experience I had. Fantastic service and professionalism. I had some mold/water damage in my garage from my the condo unit above my garage from that was over a year old. Lucky for me, it all dried out and there was little to minimal mold. He is all about helping his customer save money. He talked me through checking for mold (with safety as his highest concern) without having an actual mold testing company come out, which would cost $$$. Of course, he gave me instructions on how to do this after talking through my situation and not thinking that it was a crazy mold issue. . After my first cut into the ceiling, he recommended one more cut just to make sure and he gave me an incredibly reasonable quote. To compare to another company I called - right off the bat BEFORE even doing any diagnostics or getting actual details about my issue, gave me a quote in the thousands. Joe on the other hand, took the time to actually determine the extent of damage first. He got the job done over two days - (initially quoting me 3). First day was about half a day and the second day was only 2-3 hours. I was lucky because weather was warm so it helped with mud drying. I felt so comfortable with him that I just left him my keys to let himself in and out. Joe was the second mold guy I called to get an estimate from and take a look at some mold behind a kitchen sink and possible mold in a bathroom. Not only did Joe beat the other company's price, he showed me why the other company was trying to get even more money out of me for a bathroom issue that wasn't a real issue. In addition to being truthful, Joe actually came in underestimate...yeah, I didn't know that was a thing either (he didn't need to pull out additional drywall as suspected). Joe rebuilt my sink area so that water now doesn't flow back into the wall (even if there is a leak) and it looks good. Out of all the electricians, plumbers, handymen I've dealt with over the last few months, Joe is by far the best human being I've met out of any of them. He even gave follow up calls for questions I had not related to the work he had been paid to do. Looking back over this review it doesn't seem to do him justice.
