I have been getting massages from Daniel off and on for about 3 years now and my body has healed a lot during this time. Massage was always an "extravagance" for me in the past, and as a result I had built up many years of troubles in my shoulders, arms, and neck. Now, after 2-3 dozen sessions, I view massage as necessary maintenance for the body. Aside from addressing blood flow issues due to numerous overworked, improperly worked, and/or generally tight muscles, Daniel has also shared exercise routines and other tips to help prevent these same sorts of problems from occurring again. This means that once something is "fixed" it generally stays fixed with targeted exercise, which is good because the body accumulates a lot of tightness and soreness when it isn't properly taken care of for many years. In other words, fix one area and there's always some part of the back, neck, shoulders, etc that could use more massage time. Highly recommended. read more

I can't thank Restoration Body Shop enough. I had slipped and fell while in the lake and really hurt myself. The next day I couldn't move much. I called my regular chiropractor and they were closed. I called a friend of my husband and they recommended Restoration Body Shop. When I called them, I left a message on voicemail. They literally called me back a couple minutes later. Daniel does incredible work. As an athlete I need areas of my body (usually shoulders and hips as a volleyball player/ surfer) worked on at various times. He always hits the spot and as an athlete himself he understands what needs to be done. He's great at taking input from me and properly assessing what's actually taking place. I don't usually go to Restoration for a cozy massage but more for "fixes" in areas where my body isn't performing as it should. Daniel gave me a massage for an hour and a half, and I really enjoyed it! I am training for a marathon, and I needed work on my legs, so he spent the whole time there. He used the right amount of pressure, and got in the areas I had a lot of pain in, and worked them out very well!! Daniel really knew what he was doing, and I could tell he took time on each part of my legs, loosening them up and getting the knots out. I ran 18 miles later on in the week, and had no pain at all, whereas I had previously. I know his massage really helped me do so well on my run!!!
